Liu Wanjun is pregnant, and Shen Tiantian and Kang Jiaya couldn’t be happier.

They had grown up together and they both knew how much Liu Wanjun longed for a family. They even cried on the day she married Mr Lin.

Despite the Lin family’s prestigious background, the family members were not snobbish and treated Liu Wanjun well. Now that she is pregnant and about to become part of a family of three, there was an even stronger sense of belonging. 

Shen Tiantian likes children very much. Every now and then, she would visit the orphanage where they grew up, accompanied by Liu Wanjun, to watch the old headmaster playing with the children. However, since her best friend got married and went on a honeymoon for over half a month, followed by Shen Tiantian getting together with the CEO, she hadn’t been able to return for nearly four months.

Due to just recovering from an illness, Shen Tiantian felt completely weak and lacked the energy to go out during the weekend. She stayed at home for half a day, intending to visit Liu Wanjun, but was informed that she was going for a check-up, so Shen Tiantian gave up.

She sighed.

If only the CEO was here, maybe they could go out on a date. On the third day without the CEO, she missed her, yearned for her, and felt her absence deeply.

After finishing her bowl of egg noodles, Shen Tiantian curled up on the sofa like a prawn while savoring a preserved plum in her mouth, resembling a salted fish.

As she absentmindedly flipped through the channels, the CEO’s captivating face lingered in her thoughts. She couldn’t help but become infatuated. 

They literally just had a video call last night. Why did she miss her so much?!

Glancing at the time, Shen Tiantian assumed that the CEO would likely be awake by now. After a brief moment of hesitation, she mustered the courage to take the initiative and sent her a message.

Shen Tiantian: [Good morning.]

Shan Yi did not reply to the message, and Shen Tiantian was somewhat disappointed as she put her phone down, secretly hoping for a response from her lover.

She covered her face with both hands and silently scolded herself for being weak.

After a while, she sat up from the sofa and spat out the flavorless plum pit from her mouth. She promptly replaced it with a fresh one, resuming her indulgent sucking. 

There was still no reply from WeChat, so Shen Tiantian turned off the TV and prepared to take a shower. She undressed and gazed down at her soft belly. It seemed that she had gained a little weight due to recent indulgence, and her touch confirmed the softness. Shen Tiantian poked her stomach with her index finger, feeling a little troubled. She recalled that while she didn’t have defined abs in the past, her stomach had remained firm. She hadn’t anticipated this sudden weight gain.

She didn’t know if it was her imagination, but she felt that her breasts had also grown a little bigger.

‘Oh no!!!’

She wanted to cry, but no tears came as she reluctantly accepted the reality of her weight gain. Even while showering, she couldn’t help but ponder over what she would do if the CEO didn’t like her anymore.

She continued to think about losing weight even after taking a shower, wanting to slim down before Shan Yi returned to the country. With a furrowed brow, she dried her hair and walked out, immediately picking up her phone. Her dear CEO sent her a video call invitation seven minutes ago.

Shen Tiantian quickly dismissed all the cluttered thoughts from earlier and lightly tapped on the light red dot to call back. 

The video call was quickly answered, and Shan Yi was seen having breakfast.

Seeing Shan Yi, Shen Tiantian instantly smiled brightly. “What are you eating?”

Shan Yi adjusted the camera angle, revealing a table full of dishes that caught Shen Tiantian’s attention. At the same time, Shan Yi’s face reappeared on the screen. Perhaps because she had called late, Shen Tiantian missed the opportunity of seeing Shan Yi in a bathrobe.

Today, Shan Yi had already changed into formal attire, wearing a white blouse paired with a black suit. She exuded an air of intelligence and competence, while her long, goddess-like curls added a hint of gentleness to her appearance.

“Have you eaten?” Shan Yi interrupted her thoughts.

Shen Tiantian nodded, “I had egg noodles, but they weren’t as delicious as yours.”

Shan Yi chuckled and said dotingly, “Wait until I come back, I’ll cook for you every day.”

Shen Tiantian blushed, unable to control the upward curve of her lips, “I’ll wait for you.”

After just stepping out of the shower, Shen Tiantian’s hair was still slightly damp, with a few shorter strands hanging in front of her forehead. Her round face, slightly flushed from the steam, was clearly visible. The light green pajamas she wore hung crookedly on her shoulders, and her beautiful collarbones couldn’t help but attract a few more glances. 

Shan Yi’s eyes became deep and intense as she stared at her, wishing she could fly back immediately and passionately kiss her on the bed.

Thinking about Shen Tiantian’s recent illness, Shan Yi reminded her, “Dry your hair properly, don’t catch a cold again.”

Shen Tiantian didn’t notice her gaze for a moment. She smiled and picked up the towel she had just taken off, and started to wipe herself absentmindedly, with occasional pats here and there.

After pausing for about ten seconds, she recalled Liu Wanjun’s news and couldn’t help but share it with her girlfriend, “Oh right, I have some good news to tell you.”

“What good news?” Shan Yi asked.

“My best friend is pregnant and I’m going to become a godmother,” Shen Tiantian exclaimed with excitement, her cheeks turning slightly redder due to the excitement.

“Instead of being a godmother, why don’t we have our own child?” Shan Yi’s tone was serious.

Shen Tiantian laughed and said, “How do we have a child?”

‘Could it be that the person she was dating had a hidden reproductive organ?!’

“The prerequisite for having a child is that we have to be together first. If the first time is not enough, then two times, three times…” Shan Yi hinted and raised an eyebrow suggestively.

Shen Tiantian was stunned. Was the CEO making a move?!

Moreover, she was doing it with a serious face!

Although she didn’t dislike it at all, she even looked forward to it.

They were both women, if they really wanted to have a child someday, they could seek technological assistance.

Shen Tiantian blushed and looked at her, speechless.

“I-I’m hanging up.”

Shan Yi wrinkled her nose and smiled, “You’re so cute.”

Shen Tiantian pouted, “I’m really hanging up.”

Shan Yi stubbornly refused, “No, I want to see you a little longer.”

Hearing this, Shen Tiantian’s heart immediately softened and gave her a playful glare.

“You didn’t go out today?” Shan Yi asked.

Shen Tiantian shook her head and said, “No, I slept all day.”

Shan Yi placed her phone on the table and quietly tidied up the empty meal box, placing it aside. She asked, “Are you still feeling unwell?”

“I’ve been fine for a while.”

It’s just that there are some lingering side effects. She has become a bit more sleepy.

Shen Tiantian chose not to mention the rest of her words. She didn’t want Shan Yi to worry, and she was even more reluctant to bother Shan Xu again.

She could rest for another day tomorrow, and she estimated that she would be fine the day after tomorrow.

Shan Yi nodded in relief and raised her wrist to look at the time.

“Are you working today too?!” Shen Tiantian deduced from her actions that she must be heading out, and a sudden pang of distress washed over her.

“Yes, I have an appointment with a client.” Shan Yi smiled and asked, “Feeling sorry for me?”

Shen Tiantian nodded honestly, “I feel very sorry for you.”

Shan Yi wished she could rub her head, but it was unfortunate that they were separated by such a distance.

At that moment, there was a knock on the door. Shan Yi opened it while holding her phone, and Assistant Yang’s figure appeared on the screen.

“We can depart now, CEO.”

Shan Yi made a sound of agreement and shifted her gaze back to her phone. Before she could speak, Shen Tiantian tactfully said, “You go ahead and take care of your business.”

After saying that, she immediately ended the video call, afraid that Shan Yi would make some embarrassing requests in front of others. How could she face Assistant Yang in the future?

Looking at the darkened screen, Shan Yi was speechless.

She hadn’t even asked for a goodbye kiss yet.

Shan Yi didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, this little woman has become quite cunning.

As Yang Li observed Shan Yi’s figure, a subtle but conflicted light flickered within the frames of her glasses. It lingered, revealing a complex mix of emotions and entanglement.

Shan Yi put her hand down, having already composed her facial expression. She turned to Yang Li and asked, “Is the information ready?”

“It’s all prepared.”

“Let’s go.”

Shen Tiantian breathed a sigh of relief when she didn’t receive a message from Shan Yi. But soon after, a hint of longing crept back in.

She was going crazy!!!

Shen Tiantian covered her face, wondering why she would think of that right after just seeing her.
