It was as Vice Principal Qing Man had said, after Li Luo's battle against Gao Xuhan, the rest of the fights would be quite boring. The rest of the crowd was still engrossed in discussing the happenings of the previous fight as well. It would be hard for them to focus on any other fight after that.

The good thing was that the mentors from the Heavenly Origin Ancient College stepped in to pick things up, assuring everyone that everything would continue as usual and the cultivation resources would be delivered as agreed upon.

After which, the sage colleges took their leave.
Li Luo stretched lazily as he watched the vice principals walk off. "Wu Yu wouldn't be the sort to renege on his bet, would he?"
Chi Chan shook her head. "With his status and position, doing such a thing would be detrimental to his reputation."
Li Luo paused to ponder about it. Although the price of the cultivation resources was insignificant, a King would not be concerned.
A battle of this magnitude was a fight amongst peak experts. In a sense, it was almost like two King powers going head-to-head against each other.
However, as a core member of the Academic Federation, the Heavenly Origin Ancient College would usually remain neutral and not engage in wars against other powers. Their only goal was to obstruct and defeat the Others.
This was the main reason why the other peak powers on the continents highly respected the Academic Federation.
The stronger the power, the better they understood how frightening the threat of the Others was. The Academic Federation carried a heavy burden for the sake of the living, all for the sake of resisting the shadow world.
"It seems like the situation has escalated," Vice Principal Qing Man said.
"The Fifth Minor Earthly Branch Realm is too tempting. The space is linked to the Nobles' Battlefield, and if this fact had not been discovered, things would have been fine. We could've borrowed the aid of the Tree of Resonant Power to cover its existence and gradually developed it. Unfortunately, the All-Being Devil King, who was closest to the area, discovered it," Lan Lingzi coolly explained.
"It sowed corruption and managed to influence a mentor of our college. It caused his skin to mutate and separate from his flesh and blood before developing a life of its own and escaping to inform the Devil King of the Fifth Minor Earthly Branch Realm."
Wu Yu and Qing Man frowned at this point. The Other Kings had methods that were esoteric and unpredictable, including the All-Beings Devil King. It could force an individual's skin to separate from their own body upon being corrupted!

"So what is the plan now? Did you return due to the Principal's orders?" Vice Principal Wu Yu asked.
Lan Lingzi nodded, but then she replied with a question of her own, "Is the academic evaluation is occurring again? Have the Sage colleges sent out their most exceptional squads?"
Vice Principal Wu Yu's face shuddered slightly as he unnaturally nodded in confirmation.
"How are the results? Which colleges earned first tier slots?" Lan Lingzi continued.
Vice Principal Wu Yu was expressionless at this point, but Qing Man laughed lightly. "The most exceptional college that obtained a first tier slot is none other than the Astral Sage College."
Lan Lingzi did not react at first, but a few moments later, a look of surprise sprang up on her face.
She stared at Vice Principal Wu Yu.
"Astral Sage College? The college that Old Pang runs?"
