Chapter 145 - Beginnings & Endings

Song Luli bought several lingerie sets, but she decided to try on the set Miss Shi helped her pick out.

She put on a white transparent bodysuit that revealed the intimate parts of her body. She also clasped an ivory robe over her shoulders, trailing around her calves. She brushed her lengthy hair, sweeping it over her shoulder. She glanced at her breasts and pushed them up before she slipped out of the bedroom, heading to the living room.

Long Jie fell asleep sitting up on the couch, with his arms crossed, head down. Song Luli felt suddenly shy. His hair swept over his face; his cheeks were red due to his nap, and he breathed lightly. He looked adorable!

Song Luli then approached him carefully and silently. She wasn't used to the art of seduction. With Long Jie, they connected in ways where they mingled and coupled through instinct, through their attraction and intense desire.

But this was something new, and it made her excited.

She straddled him, sitting on his lap, enclosing him by resting her palms over the cushioned headrest of the couch.

Long Jie stirred awake, blinking. He then leaned back, momentarily stunned. He rubbed his eyes, wondering if he was dreaming.

Song Luli blushed, placing her palms on his thighs, glancing away.

"Luli?" Long Jie questioned.

She looked back at him.

He then straightened, hooking his arms around her waist. "What is this?" he asked playfully.聽"Have you come to seduce me?"

Song Luli nodded shyly, her face blooming red. "I bought it at the store today. I thought it looked... beautiful. So, I wanted to try it."

Long Jie grinned broadly.

"Do you like it?" she asked.

Long Jie gazed at her, noticing her hard and taut nipples. He looked below at her exposed intimate flesh. "You look...delicious," he replied.

Song Luli's cheeks heated.

He grasped the nape of her neck, pulling her hair back slightly, licking the line of her neck. Typically, Long Jie wasn't one to care about clothes.聽The objective of love-making is to embrace without clothes, but that's not always the case.

"You're very beautiful," he breathed against her shoulder.

Song Luli faced him directly. "Really?" her eyes glinted.

Long Jie chuckled. He then took a strand of her hair, twirling the end. She let it grow to her waist, the same length when they shared their first kiss. He cupped her cheek, caressing it softly. "I can't even begin to express how beautiful you are," he said. He then brushed her stomach through the transparent bodysuit over the faint marks of childbirth.

Song Luli looked down and smiled.

She leaned down to enclose him with her arms, arching her back forward to kiss him.

Long Jie's hands moved one hand down to her waist, kissing her back frantically. The robe slipped from one of her shoulders, replaced with the warmth of Long Jie's other hand.

"There's a button...on the bottom," she told him.

Long Jie followed her instructions. His hand roamed her body, moving lower. Instead of unbuttoning, he teased her over the fabric, placing a finger there. Song Luli gasped, bowing over his shoulder, shuddering.

He pressed against her, then adding another finger, rubbing her covered flesh. He fumbled with the button when the baby monitor started making noise.

Song Luli stood up abruptly, sprinting up the stairs, and Long Jie chuckled.

After a few moments, he went to find her breastfeeding, and Long Jie smiled, watching her. They then spent time with their son, singing and soothing him until he fell asleep again. By the time Long Yat-sen was sound asleep, they had gone to another room in聽the house and slumped on the bed.

Song Luli giggled. Long Jie stared at her, reaching out to her cheek as she leaned into his touch, closing her eyes.

"Get some rest," he told her.

Song Luli opened them, eyes blazing. "Not until you make love to me first."

Long Jie grinned sheepishly, moving her over him, kissing her senselessly.

...

Su Xiang couldn't believe she was going to marry Xun Zichen.

She thought of how she always considered him as her best friend, and then something else manifested later. When did that happen? She didn't know.

They booked a beautiful vast venue to hold the ceremony. The decorations she made adorned the tables, chairs, and walls. White flowers scattered across the floor, so she felt like she was walking through a sea as she trailed down the aisle in her pearl-white mermaid gown.

Her father's arm locked with hers, and at the front, she could see the rest of her family. Long Jie was standing behind Song Luli, who was carrying their boy. Song Meiling was alone since Zhang Enyu returned to Canada, but she was going to catch up to him the next day, not wanting to miss her wedding. Her mother was standing next to the rest of her family, beaming at her.

Su Xiang blew her a tearful kiss before her attention solely focused on Xun Zichen. He waited for her, staring at her with gaping astonishment.

He took her hand, and her father was the one who wanted to officiate the wedding. Su Xiang hugged him before he started the ceremony, thanking him for being their biggest supporter.

When it came to vows, Su Xiang admitted that her love for Xun Zichen had begun as admiration for him, for his determination to work hard in the medical field, for being her male cheerleader when she also pursued that same career. She also said that there was no one else like him and that she'd continue to love him, as she always had.

Xun Zichen teared up with a wide grin. She'd never seen him so happy.

He choked up slightly before he said: "Xi. I've longed for you, always. You were something so pure and good when I felt like I wasn't. You chose me despite my past, my history and you were never afraid to be with me. For that, I will always love you, too. Xi."

They exchanged rings and kissed passionately in front of everyone right before they walked back down the aisle as their friends and family cheered them on.

At the end of the dinner and party, Su Xiang went to meet with Song Luli and Song Meiling.

"I'm sorry I can't stay until morning, I have to catch my flight," said Song Meiling with a bittersweet smile. "But congratulations, Xi. You worked so hard for this and I didn't even know."

"It's all right," Su Xiang replied. "Now, it's time for you to chase what you want."

Song Meiling flushed. Her eyes started to well with tears. "Oh, I'm going to miss you two!" she said, embracing both Song Luli and Su Xiang at the same time.

Song Luli started to cry, which provoked a sob from Su Xiang and Song Meiling, and they remained huddled together until it was time to let go.

"Call us as much as you can," said Song Luli. "I know Canada is far, but please visit us."

"I will come back for holidays and summers with Zhang Enyu," she told them. "I promise."

Song Meiling hugged each of them again before she left the venue.

Song Luli returned to Long Jie, who comforted her with their son.

Su Xiang went back to Xun Zichen, who helped fix her makeup. "You're a great husband," she told him as he cleaned off the mascara from the side of her eyes.

Xun Zichen smiled. "Anything for my wife," he replied.

After the party ended, he took her home, to their home at the Xun estate.

Xun Zichen chased Su Xiang up the stairs into their master bedroom, and he kissed her against a wall, holding her. She kissed him hard, biting down his lower lip.

He took her hand, guiding her to their bed. Otherwise, he'd really take her up against that wall or the floor, but not for their wedding night.

Su Xiang toppled over the bedsheets gently; her dress splayed around her. He went on top of her, kissing her on the temple, her cheek, her chin.

He lifted her, searching for her zipper. He then slipped the dress off, not expecting to unravel her. She wore sheer white lingerie that barely covered anything, but it looked so...alluring.

Su Xiang then stood up, heading to the vanity. Xun Zichen watched as she removed the pins from her hair, loosening her blonde hair. From behind, he saw the roundness of her ass, the curves of her stomach, the smoothness of her back.

She then turned around, approaching him with a feline walk.

He was ready. Xun Zichen was ready to embrace her, to hold her, to love her for the rest of their lives.
