Chapter 236: OP.

The next morning, before the sun could light up this part of the world, nine youngsters stood in the front of an elder. The Arena Of God was the meeting place they were all asked to report, but the reporting time was way too early. The elder was not the one who was presiding over the matches yesterday. 

This person had a long beard, he wore a cotton long shirt and denim pants with slippers on his feet. He had some chains and bands around his neck and wrist, respectively. This man gave You Xi Wang the expression of a hippie. The man had a two feet long white beard. He spoke in a husky voice, "Well, good morning, so now I will need your spirit weapons. They will be locked into different boxes, find them yourself on the island."

He pointed his thumb at the bunch of boxes behind him. These boxes were all equipped with finger-print scanners, iris scanners, voice pitch scanners, and also heard beat scanner. Then came a bunch of grade 6 killing arrays, grade 6 defense arrays. This thing was so safe that you will need a top-level array master to open it himself. 

The arrays will be opened by the tokens provided by the council. Otherwise, triggering it will be a disaster for anyone. The elder spoke, "You all will be given one packet of dry rations. You can team up to survive. Just remember one thing, no maiming, no killing, no crippling, or your entire families will be killed right away, and this is not a joke." his tone carried a chill so strong that it froze the heart of these youngsters. 

He continued in his husky voice, "If you find someone struggling against a situation, help them. Any other questions?"

You Xi Wang asked, "Sir, can you tell us, how are we competing?"

The elder suddenly slapped his forehead, "Oh, look at my old face. I forgot the main thing." He took out nine wrist bands, threw them to the youngsters, and said, "Snatch it from the others, the one with the higher number wins. Okay, go store your spirit weapons inside the vault boxes." he waved his hand as if fanning off a smell.

The youngsters had no choice but to store their weapons inside the vault boxes. They were all observing each other. The number of Spirit weapons would tell them how much potential the other party has. Well, they all had at least two spirit weapons. You Xi Wang, shocked them when he took out three glowing weapons. 

The higher the glow on a weapon, the higher the mastery. Purgatory let out a shrill hum as soon as You Xi Wang took it out. He spoke in a soft voice, "Rest well, we will have a lot of work to do later."

The sword then floated into the vault box. The same thing happened with the spear and the bow. After storing the three You Xi Wang asked the old hippie, "Elder, what do I do with my unawakened spirit weapons?"

These words shocked the people to a whole new level. Chen Yuping was the only one who shook his head with a smile. He knew his cousin was a pervert but this guy still had unawakened spirit weapons, that an ultra pervert. 

The elder was surprised, but he was told that this guy is Elder Alester's direct disciple so he did not find it too shocking. He said, "I will inspect them. If they really are unawakened then you can take them with you but if they are awake and you are found lying, then too bad I will detain you here."

You Xi Wang nodded and directly handed him the three spirit weapons. The crowd wanted to gang up on this bastard. They did not have three, and he was flexing six. The elder was surprised by the quality of his weapons. He glanced at the boy and asked, "Fernier?"

You Xi Wang nodded with a smile. The old man shook his head and said, "That old ghost hasn't bled so much in some decades. Good job. Yeah, these are unawakened. You can take them."

You Xi Wang stored his weapons back in his battle suit. The elder spoke, "How many of you have a spirit beast." three people replied with a yes. 

You Xi Wang was one of the other two were Zen Shoto, Mace Williams. The old hippie spoke, "Call them out."

Zen Shoto took out a crystal pendant, a leopard came out of it. The elder nodded, "Good, Wind cloud Leopard, grade 4 magic beast." his words made both the master and the beast happy. Mace Williams took out a similar pendant, and an 8 feet high bull appeared in front of everyone. The bull radiated a strong, oppressive aura.

The hippie elder smiled, "It has been long since I saw a Fire Blood Buffalo. Good fortune." the bull snorted. It was a proud grade 7 beast, after all. Zen Shoto looked calm and did not mind. 

You Xi Wang whistled. Suddenly a white-furred Maya came out from his shadow. His shining fur was captivating and even though she was a grade 6, her cold gaze made the buffalo beast back up by two feet.

The elder was shocked again. He asked, "How can a snow hound live in the shadows?"

You Xi Wang replied, "Maya is a hybrid, elder. Half Night-hound and Half Snow-hound." his words were enough to shatter the elder's world view. He knew how rare it was for a hybrid hound beast to appear. 

The elder asked You Xi Wang, "Do you know Dark Dwellers pet Night Hounds? Why do you have one as your spirit beast companion?"

You Xi Wang nodded and replied, "Simply, because, I found her in the whispering woods as a cub only a few days old. Her mother died fighting a blood tiger. I saved them. Ever since then Maya is by my side."

The elder and the others could detect that You Xi Wang did not hide or lie about this. The elder nodded. Everyone else had another thing in their minds, that was if You Xi Wang did a stealth raid on them then it would most probably take them out. They all sensed the pressure grow by ten times.

The hippie elder spoke, "Let's go, you will be all deployed by air drop. Survive the air drop from 30,000 feet. Reminder: The sky is filled with predator bird type beasts. Some of them are even Grade 8. Then you will need to survive in the forest."

The youngsters sighed. You Xi Wang issued a mental transmission to Gena Langford and Chen Yuping, "Wanna team up?"

The two people glanced at him and then nodded. You Xi Wang spoke again, "Do you guys have that wingsuit in your battle armors?"

Chen Yuping shook his head while Gena Langford nodded slightly. You Xi Wang said, "Cuz, you need wing suit to survive the dive. Second, we are going MIA for the first week."

The other two were confused by his second sentence. Yet, since they put their trust in him, they saw things through. Chen Yuping changed his battle suit before getting into the airship.

The nine youngsters departed with the old hippie.

A man wearing emerald robes sat behind a table. This man was Heath Ashton. He stood up and walked to the washroom. The mirror on the wall turned and a black-cloaked figure appeared. The figure inside the mirror spoke in a hoarse voice, "Is everything ready?

Heath Ashton replied, "Yes, master. Just wait for the full moon, we will succeed. These nine are strong and they have enough vigor to help us achieve our goal."

The black figure nodded and said, "You don't need to play a dog of the council. When the time arrives you come to the altar in person, I will need help to complete the incantation."

Heath Ashton nodded, and the mirror turned back to normal. The man walked out of the washroom, and glanced out of the floor-to-ceiling window as he thought, "Soon, it will all be changed. What a pity."

The airship was smaller, but the speed was many times faster. Inside sat nine youngsters, in front of them an old hippie was walking back and forth. He took out nine body cams from his ring and said, "You call have to wear it on your person all the time."

Jack Hart spoke, "Elder, we were told about this earlier." he was hesitant to wear a body cam and compromise his privacy.

The hippie turned cold. He rebuked him, "Do the council need to tell you everything? Wear it or go home."

Everyone immediately became docile. You Xi Wang took his body cam, and a smile emerged on his face when he glanced carefully at it. A thought emerged in his mind, 'Such a good reward. Nice. Hey, thinking of reward, did I not complete the system mission for killing Edward Colt? OYE SYSTEM COME OUT YOU MASS OF FOG. WHERE IS MY REWARD, BITCH?"

The system spoke, [Umm master, hehe, I forgot. You were so busy then, I was so busy. Hehehe..."

You Xi Wang snorted, 'Cough it up, bitch. Or I will stab the spear through my head. MOFO.'

The system then said, [Hot reward coming up.]
