Chapter 193: Sudden tribulation.

You Xi wang sat cross-legged in meditation. His body was dripping wet with sweat. If someone looked close enough then a slight tremble could be detected on his body. You Xi Wang thought as he was immersed in his cultivation that his sister must have faced the same pain and burden while she broke into the Primal Soul Realm. His resolve strengthened after this thought passed through his mind. 

He gritted his teeth and urged the spirit energy to cover his soul avatar and integrate together. The system was busy overlooking the bodily functions as extreme pressure was a double-edged sword. Too much pressure and no matter how strong you are, you will break. The system did not want You Xi Wang's physique to break that is why it worked at an extremely terrifying rate to constantly divert the pain in You Xi Wang's body to other places. The system was micro distributing the pain originating from the soul sea to the whole body on a cellular level. 

This kind of body tempering was unheard of. The system was making You Xi Wang a foundation for a peak entity. The process of breakthrough was only one-fifth down when You Xi Wang integrated his soul avatar with his spirit energy. As a practitioner with five elements, he was needed to integrate all five elements inside his primal soul. The first one to integrate completely was the air element. 

The system spoke at this moment, [Fuck, Houston, we have a problem.]

You Xi Wang was about to start the second round when he heard this. He stopped and asked with an annoyed tone, "What?"

The system spoke, [You are the first person under the heavens to have a five elemental primal soul. Why do I feel like you are now an existence against the heavens?]

You Xi Wang was smart enough to catch the hint. He spoke with surprise, 'Then why did the heaven let me cross the core formation realm? I have five fucking core you know?'

The system spoke, [How would I know what the heaven(author) thinks? Fuck another chaotic obstacle. Do it fast then we run out from here to face the tribulation.]

You Xi Wang sighed and then continued to integrate his soul avatar with the spirit energy. The heavens did not retaliate against him as a five-cored, core formation realm practitioner because it was not worth it. There are millions of core formation realm cultivators in metropia, but no matter how many cores you have you cannot beat a primal soul realm cultivator in a real-life and death battle. You Xi Wang had all attribute energy otherwise how was he to be so strong? The opponents he has faced to date all had a single attribute, but who was to guarantee that his victory is assured when he meets a dual attribute cultivator or even a three attributed maniac?

The beast wolf shook her head and continued to lay down in a lazy manner. Yuki wanted Shadow to ask Maya about when You Xi Wnag might come out as their time of departure was coming close. The beasts shared an equal spiritual bond with the humans. If the human is immersed in cultivation then the beast would also follow. So, Maya was also cultivating beside You Xi Wang.

The ladies resumed basking in the sun leisurely when out of nowhere black clouds started to surge. Suddenly the four wolves stood up and their ears turned upright.

Fenny asked anxiously, "Snowie, What happened?" as she stroked Snowflakes tender white fur.

Snowflake replied, [Boss, Eldest sister sent a message. They are rushing away from the habitual regions. She said You Xi Wang is about to have a lightning tribulation.]

Fenny's hand, which she was using to stroke Snowflake's fur, froze in the air. Her face turned pale. The same thing happened to the others. Neo was practicing with Hercules and he was knocked away by a punch as he froze while sparring. Allan dropped the gun in his hand. Yuki stood up from the ground in an instant, as if a cat was stepped on her tail.

You Zhichi noticed this and asked with confusion and doubt, "What happened?"

Yuki did not say anything just grabbed a hold of her hand and pulled her along with her. After the two came to a distance where the others cannot overhear. She spoke, "Xi Wang... he... he is about to have a heavenly tribulation."

You Xi Wang would face a tribulation when he had to but this new itself was a heavenly tribulation from You Zhichi. She grabbed Yuki's hands and asked, "Where is he?"

Yuki replied with a grimacing face, "Big sis, it hurts." only now did You Zhichi realize that she held  Yuki a little too hard. Yuki was only a core formation realm cultivator and with her guard down You Zhichi was capable of hurting her. 

She loosened her grip and asked anxiously, "Yuki, tell me where is my brother. Please." her eyes were brimmed with tears. She was scared. She did not want to lose her brother. Heavenly tribulations were blatant and cruel murderers. 

Yuki replied, "100 kilometers, east."

You Zhichi did not wait for them and quickly flew up the sky. She was now a Primal Soul cultivator. Her speed was faster than the levitation vehicles. The team however were still a step away from the primal soul and can only ask the elven attendants to get them two lev bikes. 

When You Zhichi reached the location she found her brother fixing four big metal rods inside the ground and standing between them. He sensed You Zhichi's arrival and sighed. He spoke, "Don't worry, I will make it through. I need to be mentally strong as well and you being like this ain't really help you know Chichi."

You Zhichi realized that she was too not herself. She took a deep breath and spoke softly, "How confident?"

You Xi Wang replied, "85%."

You Zhichi nodded and calmed down. 85% was a good number. The system spoke inside You Xi Wang's mind, "Why not tell her that you just gave her the rating of your failure?"

You Xi Wang replied, "She will lose her shit, and then I will lose mine. Then the heaven will smite us with that lightning. No win. At least now she is calm."

As he was speaking, the clouds started to rumble. The grey clouds changed color to crimson. You Xi Wang spoke, "Fuck me, crimson grade tribulation. Heaven's estimate for me is so high?"

The system spoke, [You know, this is nothing to be happy about?]

You Xi Wang wanted to say something when he heard Maya speak, "Brother Xi Wang, I will share the burden with you together."

You Xi Wang squatted down and stroked her fur gently. He smiled as he spoke, "We two might get a darker complexion after this. Are you ready?"

The wolf beast nodded her head. All the preparations were done and all they were missing was the heavenly bolts of lightning. Speak of the devil and the devil appeared. A red bolt of lightning as thick as a human arm formed in the air and in a blink it struck towards You Xi Wang. 

ZENG...

The bolt appeared above You Xi Wang even faster than a blink of an eye. The four metal rods in the ground trembled and attracted the electrical energy of the lightning towards themselves. At least half of the force from the heavenly bolt was transferred to the ground turning it scorched by the rods. The remaining hit You Xi Wang like a big truck ran over him. Both he and Maya shared the load, so he only felt slightly numb.

You Xi Wang grimaced and spoke, "Damn, that thing had so much power."

Maya also shook her body to relieve the numbness. It was only at this moment that his friends arrived. He spoke in a sonorous voice, "Don't you guys come over here. It will only get stronger."

Yuki, who was rushing towards him stopped dead in her tracks. Before she could even wish him to luck the second bolt fell down.

ZENG...

This bolt was as thick as a human thigh. The power of tribulation will double with every strike. Like 1 will become 2, 2 will become 4, 4 will become 8, and so on. The bolt destroyed the metallic rods and struck You Xi Wang head-on. He forced to kneel down on both his knees as soon as the bolt struck. The impact was as strong as that of being hit by a freight train. 

You Xi Wang looked to his side and saw Maya whimpering. He looked at his close ones at a distance and smiled. He looked up at the sky and spoke, "Come, let's see who is stronger."
