61 Wedding invitation

Marga can't help but shake her head, this girl is thinking way ahead.

"Sweetie, Stephen already prepared everything, what's left for you to do is ready the place and the cake, then we're all set for the wedding.He even got you a dress for the wedding." Marga beamed at her.

"Does the dress look pretty on me, I don't really like my brothers taste in clothes, they are sooo, sooo old fashioned, I'm afraid that if I wear it I might stay single forever."Liza grumbled, but was relieved that she only has a few things left to do, lucky her, her brother was really the best when it comes to details.

"By the way sis, will you invite Ken to the wedding?" Liza nervously asked, but why was she nervous?

"Of course, since he is already here, I already thought about calling him this afternoon, but I just got back from Sister Fatima's room." Marga just updated Sister Fatima about their wedding preparation, and she was very excited and was even glowing with happiness.

"Ahm, I already informed him Sis, I actually asked him to help with the preparation, but he was just useless!" she grumbled, still angry about the conversation that they had.

"Hello Ken, I was just about to call you.I think Liza already mentioned that we're having a wedding in two days. I would really love it if you could come being one of my closest friends." Marga said in a heartbeat while Liza was standing next to her, waiting for the man's reply.

"Ah so you're getting married, ahm, congratulations Marga! I don't know if I can come though, I was just called by the main office to go back to check and sign some documents." Ken said in a very quiet voice, he was disappointed, he did everything for Marga, even came to the province just to be with her but his heart was still broken in the end.

"You really need to go? What a waste, I'm only getting married once, and you are one of my closest friend, but I understand, work is important after all." a little disappointed at Ken, Marga let out a sigh before she hung up.

On the other hand, Liza who was hoping Marga could convince Ken to come, was also disappointed, damn this man, he even refused to the bride, hmpft!"He said he's not coming Liza, he has an appointment that's why he needed to go back to the city, well that's just too bad, but don't let it spoil your mood.you will still have many chances with him, you'll see." Marga smiled cheekily, she actually got a call from their client and they want Liza to endorse the product for them, surely is a blessing in disguise.It's like the heavens are looking at them right now, she will get married to the love of her life and it looked like her best friend would be tangled with the man of her dreams as well.
