37 First Meeting

Stephen took out the car keys from the bedside table and went to sit beside the girl "Tell me where he is and I will go pick him up." looking at her seriously, she has just gotten out of bed and had not taken a shower or even had breakfast yet. Seeing the girl about to argue he said "I will take Tom with me since he is familiar with Mr.Lim, okay?" he did not give her a chance to say anything he left after giving her a kiss.While he was going down the stairs he saw Tom going out from his room, perfect "Just the person I'm looking for, you...come with me, we need to pick up Mr. Lim from the south station bus terminal." then he walked passed the dining table and sipped his coffee and started out for the car, leaving the dumbfounded Tom trailing behind, I haven't had coffee yet, huhu...

It only took them 10 minutes to arrive at the bus station, Stephen got out of the car first followed by Tommy. To be honest, Stephen was a bit anxious about meeting Mr. Lim the first time, he was his love rival after all, so he a curious on how he looked like and why he had Tom all over him.Soon enough, Tom spotted their guest, "Hey, Director Lim, over here." Tom was waiving his hand to the direction of a stranger."Hello Tom, I have never been so glad to see you.Where's Marga?" Director Lim glanced sideways to check if Marga was around."She is....ahm...she was called by my Aunt so she was not able to leave Director, but my brother is with me though." Tom gestured for Stephen to come forward.

"Bro, this is our Director, Mr. Kenneth Lim, Director Lim this is my brother Dr. Stephen Son." with the introduction, a cold wind suddenly enveloped the area as both men shook hands without saying a word and just gave a nod after momentarily staring at each other.Tom was now feeling regretful about agreeing to come with Stephen to pick up Director Lim."Nice meeting you Dr. Son." Ken seized up Stephen, hmm, his looks is but average, his height too is average, what did Marga find special in this guy."It's a pleasure Director. Where are you staying so we can drop you off?" Stephen said coldly.

"Ahm about that, the hotel that I booked for today got cancelled saying that they overlook their rooms and they can only move it for tomorrow, so I don't have a place to stay yet." Director Lim said shyly but his gleamed about the thought of staying over at the Son Mansion for the evening.

"Ahhh, then perhaps you can stay at our home for the meantime Director Lim." Tom said instantly but regretted it after feeling the cold gaze from his brother "Of course he can stay with us just for the tonight, right Bro, we can't let him sleep in the bust station, right?" as he was looking pathetically at Stephen...please Brother don't make it hard for me....

Not waiting for Stephens response Director Lim immediately said "Is that really okay? I mean I don't want to intrude with your family." actually he did not intend to book any hotel for his whole stay but he did not want to make Marga uncomfortable by staying at their home so he decided to book a hotel, but it was already too late and the only available date was for tomorrow.He don't want to reschedule his flight, he can no longer wait to go to Country F.Sigh, Stephen could not do anything since Tom already offered, so he just nodded and started the car.
