He opened his eyes and found himself in a dark, unknown room. He looked around and saw Cassidy curled up on the floor, in a corner of the room. She hid her head from something that was standing behind Hugo. It shoved him aside tossing him to the floor. He turned and saw a dark figure of a man walking towards Cassidy. She screamed as the man moved closer to her. Hugo leaped at the man, bringing the sole of his foot violently into the side of the man's head sending him crashing to the floor. The man rose as if his feet were anchored to the ground, returning to his upright position, visibly unaffected by the blow. Cassidy's fear incarnated by a man. The man ignored him and started to walk towards Cassidy once again. Hugo's hand strained up and the bones in his hand snapped. He looked down at his hand, it was no longer a hand but a black, two-edged blade. He moved in front of Cassidy and violently lunged his arm through the dark figure's chest. The blade cut through the man's chest and pierced his black, beating heart. Black ooze pumped out of his chest as his lifeless body collapsed on the floor. He turn to Cassidy's trembling body, curled up in the corner with her head tucked to her knees. He placed his hand on her back. She slowly raised her head, "This is a dream," Hugo said, "Wake up," He opened his eyes and he was back in the room. His hand was normal, and clean, not covered with the black ooze that had come out of the nightmare's chest. He removed his hand from her chest. She wasn't breathing fast, only heavily. She rolled onto her back and her eyes opened. She slowly raised herself up from the bed. Her forehead was covered in sweat. Hugo rested his elbows on his knees, curving his back.

"Are you okay? Did you miss me?"

"Hugo! You are here! When did you get back?" She said wrapping her arms around him and laying a kiss on his lips, "I was having a nightmare."

"Is that the one you keep having?" Hugo said, "Is it always a dark figure getting closer to you?"

"Yeah, and I sa-," Cassidy started and then stopped and squinted her eyes, "How do you know about my dream?"

"I was in it, wasn't I?" Hugo laughed, "I chose to enter your dream, with my mind, my real mind."

"What?! How can you do that?"

"I was in Equinox's Chamber and the entrance tunnel collapsed behind me, sealing me in. I was in front of Equinox, slowly running out of air, then a voice came in my head, telling me to follow a line that was being created in the sand in front of my eyes and to swim up when it finished. I did, and when I pushed up from the floor, I rose, losing more and more breathe, but my head left the water, I opened my eyes and found myself in a room, with someone sitting on a stone in the corner of the room. I climbed out of the water and the man presented himself as the God of Evil, Jarvan the Third."

Cassidy's eyes showed her disbelief, "Please tell me you didn't make a deal with him, did you?"

"He told me that he wanted me to raise the warring policy and allow the raids to happen, to see 'more deaths' because he was bored, in return I would gain powers he once had, when he was human," He showed the amulet, "If I didn't I would have died, so I chose to accept it."

"What is that?" She pointed at the amulet, "Is that what he gave to you?"

"Yes, but it only works with me because I am cursed, that is what he said," He said, "I don't think that dream will happen again."

"How do you know? How did you enter my dream?"

"With this," He held the amulet, "He was a godly being as a man."

"What else can you do with that?" She looked at him biting her lower lip.

"I don't know but you clearly hope I can do something very specific. I'll try tonight. But aside from that did my adviser come during these last days?"

"Yes, he was so awkward, does he have a wife?" Cassidy laughed.

"No, he lives for the job and I don't think he thought of flirting with anyone."

"He always came early in the morning, like he did for you, he should be here soon, since the sun is dawning."

"What have you been doing these days?" He asked, "Did you leave the house?"

"I walked outside and looked at the stars, but not so far from the house, I didn't want to be seen alone, with the men knowing I was alone and you were gone."

"I see, but at least you are not alone now," He past his hand through her hair, "Did you draw anything?"

"I didn't want to think about you, if you never returned," She rested her head on his shoulder, "I was scared to forever be alone, here, in Bilgewater."

"I would have done anything to return to your side," A knock came to the door. A few seconds later and the adviser opened the door and walked in.

"Oh, I didn't know you returned Capt'n, did I interrupt?" He said as he bowed his head, "I have some good news for both of you."

"Speak," Cassidy said before Hugo had time to speak.

"The marriage is ready, I can have it organized for tomorrow, since it was announced yesterday, at her majesty's request."

"Her majesty?" He turned to Cassidy, who blushed, "I didn't know she wanted to be called like that, I thought you were scared I wasn't going to come back."

"I was but I didn't want to lose hope, so I asked for it to be announced."

"If you don't mind I interrupt, shall I leave?"

"Is there any other news?"

"No Capt'n, not much has been happening."

"Then you can leave," His adviser bowed his head and left the house as he turned back to face Cassidy, "Your majesty?" He pushed her back onto the bed before pinning her pushing her hands down to the bed and kissed up her neck, "Does your majesty enjoy this?"

"Stop," She whined, "You promised you would stop doing this."

"Sorry, I forgot about that," Hugo said, releasing her from his pin, "Do you want to go for a walk? Since today I don't have anything to do, maybe on a small boat trip?"

"Sure," She said sitting up on the bed "Let's go."

They walked together, hand in hand, down the path from his home. She was smiling ear to ear. They walked down the empty main streets, only a few merchants were setting up their stores, they saluted him and he saluted back, they paid no attention to Cassidy. They arrived at the empty port, the supply ships would leave in a few hours so no one was there. Instead of taking the main path of the port, Hugo lead her to a more secluded part of the port. They found there a sail boat, Hugo hopped on.
