He knew that the people of the island were very closed to the outside and often times, they didn't know even how to swim or had never been on a boat. This gave them a very narrow look on things. Cassidy was for them a whore, but for him, she was a girl who was kicked out by her family and rejected by the rest of the society. The people thought poorly of woman and thought that if they weren't married, they belonged to their father or brother, but in Cassidy's case, she was trash for them, a Whore. He hated that word being used to describe her. He called for Sevinor, who soon emerged from the water. He jumped onto his head and they were off. He had done this very often in his twenty years in Bilgewater, it was a time were he could think and not be affected by the rest of the world. I hope Cass' arm is okay, I did my best last night and clearly it didn't affect her much. He stood with his arms crossed on Sevinor's head. This fucking society, piece of shit, fucking hell, such a closed society, no difference is accepted, the men are all drunks, most of them are thick heads, rarely do I see a woman alone in the streets apart from on the marketplace. Of course, because the men stay in the tavern or on the boats as the woman do the rest. His train of thought suddenly stopped when he saw a ship in the distance. A single ship? What the fuck? Sevinor headed towards it. He told Sevinor to stop before diving into the water. He swam below the surface until he arrived on the path of the ship. He waited in the water still until the ship came closer. He grabbed onto the haul of the ship. He used a short knife to climb up the haul until he could see what was going on, on the ship. The ship was empty. He climbed on and saw no one. He pulled down the sails of the ship. What is this? He looked around as the ship started to slow down. The deck was empty, the ship had no one to control it. He opened a trapdoor and looked inside the ship. Bloody hell, Noxians really want to annoy us. The ship was jammed with explosives, the ship was a sort of bomb that was carried by the northern winds that headed towards the island, "Well, nothing left to do here apart from one thing," He said as he made a line with his bottle of alcohol and before leaping off of the ship, he tossed a match onto the line. He dived into the water and started to swim away. The detonation of the ship set a massive shock wave through the water, large waves were caused by the explosion. He swam until he got to Sevinor. He climbed on and went back to the surveillance. But the day was empty, the Noxians had attempted a bombing but failed and had sent nothing else.

He arrived at the port several hours later. He climbed off of Sevinor and they parted ways. He walked up the marketplace. It was a day like any other. Nothing really happened in his life. There was war and boredom, and not much in between. He walked up the dirt path leading to his house. He went inside and took off his coat. He sighed and took a drink. He lit a cigarette. Smoking, Drinking and, well, I don't know. He went outside and sat on his terrace. He leaned back in his chair. He exhaled smoke and took a drink from his bottle. He lifted his eyebrow went he heard soft weeping getting closer, moving up the path. He got up and looked down the path.

"Cass! What happened to you?" He said as he ran towards her, she had a black eye, her cloth was ripped, she was holding her stomach. He helped her up to his house. He put her on his bed, "Who did this to you?"

"I'm fine, don't worry about me, I'll just cause you more trouble."

"Don't say that, you are clearly not fine," He said as he sat down next to her, "My father once told me a story about what he did for a girl. The world was threatened by a god among men, who wanted to take the power of the creator, and to access these powers, he needed that girl. He kidnapped her after nearly killing my father, but even so, he found the strength in him go find her. He walked back to the village that he had fled when a monster had attacked it, it had left him terrified of returning there. He searched through each ruined house, until he found her. He carried her back to the village he lived in. He left after leaving her in good hands. He found the man who did that and fought until his dying breathe. The battle lasted several days and my father lost his left arm and was mortally wounded to the stomach, but he used his dying breathe to kill him. He later woke up in the creator's domain and was granted a favor from the creator. He decided to rejoin the realm of humans in his battle scarred body to return to the girl he had saved," He said as he cleaned her cuts, "That girl turns out to be my mother and they are still together."

"But how old are they?"

"I don't know," He said as he tilted his head, "They have the gift of immortality."

"Really?" She looked up in shock, "But doesn't that give you that gift as well?"

"I don't know, but I still count on living my life as if it wasn't," He said as he changed the bandages around her right arm.

"But why did you bring up that story?"

"I don't know," He smiled, "Take a guess."

"If I had a guess I would tell you that guess."

"I think you should be fine," He said as he finished up patching her up, "Don't go back to your place, stay here for the moment. They will go after you again, probably because they think that you were working for the Noxians who attacked you and you know them, they are pretty stupid."

"Thank you," A knock came on the door, "Were you expecting anyone?"

"No, don't worry," He got up and walked towards the door, "Who is it?"

"It's me, Capt'n," He pulled out his gun, "The people want to see you, on the main square, something about Cassidy, I think."

"Then tell them, I'll be there."

"Very well, Catp'n," He turned to Cassidy, "You stay here, I'll be back, don't worry, if you need anything, serve yourself," He said as he closed the door. The sun was setting. He lit a cigarette as he walked down the path. He walked down the unusually empty streets, the stores were closed, an creepy silence reigned throughout the city. The people of the city were all grouped up on the main square. A make shift stage had been set up in the middle of the square. One of the men in the crowd called him out and everyone made way for him. He climbed onto the stage. He looked around at the people of the city, some of them booed him and others shouted unclear things at him. He stood there for sometime, blowing smoke.
