Chapter 29 - Passion and Determination

Chapter 29 Passion and Determination

“Fatty, how do I get the pass to enter the secret realm?”

It seemed that Professor Frost had not told him how to get a pass to the secret realm just now. What she meant was that when everyone arrived and could enter the secret realm, there would be a teacher to lead everyone in.

“You really want to go

in?”

Fatty looked at Fran in disbelief. He had thought that Fran had just been joking.

After all, they were all freshmen, and the secret realm was outside the school. The school wouldn’t interfere unless it was an emergency. If they were lucky, they might be saved if they met a teacher who was training with them. If their luck was bad, they could only die in the secret realm.

“Yeah.”

Fran nodded.

He couldn’t wait any longer. He wasn’t like his other classmates, whose families were rich. In terms of protective equipment and medicine, his family couldn’t just transfer money to him and let him buy them directly.

He could only rely on his own strength to obtain opportunities in the secret realm. Professor Frost had said that after entering the secret realm, there were not only dangers but also opportunities.

It was possible that after killing a monster, one would suddenly level up. Therefore, danger and opportunity coexisted in secret realms. Fran didn’t want to let go of any opportunity. He didn’t want to let go of any opportunity to make money.

“Are you done thinking? Why don’t you go to class for two days and learn more about the secret realm before you go in?”

Fatty was in a difficult position.

He knew that Fran was very powerful, but he was still a freshman. Today, he had only gained a shallow understanding of the secret realm, and did not know how many more dangers were hidden in the secret realm.

If he were to enter so rashly, he might really lose his life!

“I’ve thought it through.”

Seeing how determined he was, Fatty sighed helplessly. “If you want to get the pass, you have to go to the teacher and apply for it. If the teacher approves it for you, you can get it.” “I understand.”

After saying that, Fran went to Professor Frost’s office based on the memory in the crystal ball.

Little Fatty saw how anxious he was, sighed again, and followed him. Seeing Fran enter the teacher’s office, Fatty waited outside.

Fran knocked on the office door and walked in after hearing a cold ‘come in’. For some reason, he felt that Professor Frost’s office was filled with low pressure, as if it was colder than the outside.

After entering the office, Fran subconsciously shrunk his neck before walking in. Frost had just arrived at the office and was a little

surprised to see him.

“Is there anything else you need?”

“Teacher, I would like to apply for a pass to the secret realm.”

Fran’s words had just ended when Frost looked at him with shock and disdain. Fran then heard her chuckle. Professor Frost sat in front of her desk. “You want to enter the secret realm?”

Fran nodded.

“Didn’t you hear what I just said?”

Professor Frost’s attitude instantly turned cold. She didn’t like students who didn’t pay

attention to the lectures, and she disliked disobedient students even more. In the past,

there had been a few disobedient and stubborn students who insisted on going to the secret realm. In the end, they couldn’t come out after

entering.

Their parents had worked so hard to raise

them, but they had wasted their lives because of their willfulness. She really looked down on

them.

“I’ve heard it.”

Fran answered. It was because of what Frost

had said that he wanted to enter the secret

realm even more.

“You’re also aware of the dangers in the secret

realm?”

Frost raised her eyebrows. Since he still insisted on going after hearing what she said, he must not have a clear understanding of his own ability. This type of student died the

fastest.

“Very clearly.”

Fran nodded again.

“Then you still want to go?”

Frost was a little confused. Since he knew the

danger of the secret realm and listened to her seriously, why did he still want to go? Didn’t they say that this student knew his own limits? Why was it different from the rumors?

“Yes,” Fran confirmed.

Frost took a deep breath and looked at Fran.

“Give me a reason to let you go.” As long as his

reason was enough to move her, she would give him a pass.

If she couldn’t be moved, she would use her

strength to tell him that overestimating his own ability in the Canglan Academy would only lead to death!

“I want to give it a try.”

Fran said.

However, Frost shook her head. this reason is

not enough for me to open the passage. Repeat. “I want to see where the limits of my strength lie. I think I can get out of the secret realm.” Fran’s firm expression made Frost somewhat dazed.

She had seen students like Fran who wanted to

enter the secret realm. However, she had never

seen the sincerity and determination in his

eyes. This touched Frost’s heart. She wanted to know

if he could get out of the secret realm smoothly if she gave him the passage ticket.

“I need money too. I can only earn money and

get equipment by killing monsters. Although my starting point is lower than others, I don’t

think I’m worse than anyone!” Fran was full of confidence.

It was true that he needed money, but he also

needed to prove that he was no worse than anyone here. More importantly, he wanted to prove one thing.

That was, those who hadn’t changed their jobs could still become highly-regarded professionals. Frost stared at him for a long time, but the passion and sincerity in Fran’s eyes didn’t decrease.

“Are you sure you can get out of the secret realm?”

Frost regretted asking the question. Why did

she ask? Anyone who wanted to enter the secret realm would say that they could come out to win the trust of others.

Fran nodded, then shook his head. Frost was puzzled.

“I should be able to.”

He couldn’t guarantee that he would be able to

come out of the secret realm, so he could only try his best to get out of that place. After getting his answer, Frost laughed lightly. Just as Fran thought that there was no chance,

he saw her take out a card from the drawer,

sign her name on it, and throw it to Fran. “Let’s wait and see.”

Fran happily put away the card. “Thank you, Teacher!”

Frost waved her hand impatiently, and Fran

quickly left the office. After he left, Frost took out the new students’ file. The first page of the file contained Fran’s enrollment information. Frost was a little shocked. The admission file was arranged according to the admission terms. Fran was actually the first of this year’s competition! This gave her a headache. Why didn’t anyone tell her before? They had only mentioned that this student named Fran wasn’t bad.

Frost was even more shocked when she saw the

details. She knew that the Medal of Honor this time was personally awarded by Haplos, but she didn’t expect that the person selected would be Fran!

Although he didn’t change classes, the people

who caught Haplos’ eyes were all pretty good. Thinking of Fran’s firm expression, Frost helplessly sighed and picked up the phone on the table to call a number.

“Little sister Frost, is there something you

voice came

need from me?” A surprised female from the other end of the phone. Frost frowned slightly. “Help me prepare a set of healing items and reserve a bed.”
