Chapter 92 - night already

"what is the killer's name?"

"luna"

"what is your daughter's name?"

"luna"

"Is...is your daughter, luna dead?"

"yes" he said diverting his eyes.

"James was right. luna is dead" i thought to myself"

but there is no way that the two lunas are not related somehow to one other because I refuse to believe that this is just a big coincidence.

"it's getting late" i said getting up

I carefully lifted max up "anywhere for us to sleep"

"this way" he said and guided us to what seemed to be the guest room.

"its already so late" i murmured to myself looking out the window.

it was already night. i guess I shouldn't have been that surprised because we arrived at the apartment late afternoon

"want something to eat?" prof stine asked and I just looked confused

"if you plan on poisoning me that is not going to work" i said

"a man can only dream" he paused and looked right at me and said "but i am asking seriously want to eat something"

i know I should have said no but at that time my mouth moved on its own and said "sure"

and so, here I am sitting in prof Stine's kitchen watching him cook me dinner.

"you are weird" i said.

"..."

"just today I knocked you down, threatened you, forced you to come to your house like a prisoner, made you drink a truth serum that could have possibly killed, asked you questions which you wouldn't have answered if you hadn't drank the said truth serum and here you are making me dinner"

"so" he asked

"you don't see the issue here?"

"nope"

"I hate you so much" i said as I rubbed my face in frustration

he placed a plate of mac and cheesed in front of me and himself and sat down "then nothing has changed" he said as he began eating.

"I wish that was true" i sighed as I also began eating.
