Chapter 78 - three motives, three people

"do you want to be a USD member" he asked as he closed the laptop.

"and why would i want to be a member in the disciplinary committee"

"because it isn't, the real meaning to USD is

U - undercover

S - student

D - detective

so do you want to be one" he said

"i think you already know the answer" i said annoyed

he said chucking "of course i do" "but it never hurts to ask"

as i closed the door behind me i heard he say "because of GUILT, for JUSTICE and for FUN. three different motives and three different people. this year is indeed going to be interesting." i don't know if he meant for me to hear that but knowing him he probably did.

i brushed off the memory as i realized i had reached the diner.

max was already there and as he noticed he waved at me. i waved back and sat on the chair next to him.

"so....who are we waiting for?" he asked drawing some blueprint.

"you will see." i said.

after a few minutes of waiting they finally arrived.

"why them" i heard max mumbled but brushed it off thinking i had heard it wrong

"hello my Juliet" sam said as he and chris sat.

max mumbled in annoyance "i hope you die like like Romeo" i am sure i heard that right. i didn't know that max hated sam. maybe this was a bad idea.

chris looked uncomfortable sitting there, sam was smiling. he looked like a prince from a literal disney movie, max was giving a really dark aura and i just sat there trying to keep up my poker face. i really wished cleo, jack or even anna were here.

'this is going to be a long day' i thought as i sighed.
