Chapter 55 - favourite killer

it's the next morning but the things that happen yesterday are first having to deal with mia then finding out Sam knows the killer but can't say a thing about it and finally the letter.

after I had said"before we open the letter let me ask you one thing are you willing to put your life on the line to find the killer."

max immediately said yes then Cleo said,"I think I can give it a shot"

but and jack said," NO! neither of you are going to put your life on the line in fact none of are going to. alex you could have ended up in the hospital along with Sam if max and Cleo didn't catch you then."

I said,"I am glad to hear that jack but if it means I can save someone else's life then I will always put my life on the line."

"alex you never change...fine but we do this all together"

I agreed. the only one who hadn't replied was anna. all of our eyes were locked at her. Anna stammered,"I..I..I guess I never really realised that I was putting myself in danger..so I need some time to think about this."

I replied,"then I think that you should stay away from the case till you figure out because getting involved any more than this could be dangerous for you."

Anna asked me if she could atleast talk to us and I replied that she should not for the time being. she got up and slowly walked away.

a few minutes after she had left I finally opened the envelope and took out the letter. the letter was printed this time. the letter told

dear Alex,

let me introduce myself I am the killer you can call me whatever you want but it seems one of your friends has given me the name luna. I see that you saved my last target. I would consider you lucky. I am not planning on killing you atleast for now because you have pinned my interest. there are still two more people in my list I plan to kill. the clue I want to give you is that the next victim is the same age as Sam. the date when I plan to kill will be sent later. good luck let's see who wins this round. and don't forget you might have won the last round but I plan to win this match.
