Chapter 44 - promises

"because I found out that the only similarity between the victims is that they attend the same school....but...the similarities between their parents is more interesting...miss Angela and miss hazel were working in our school ten years ago and they knew luna same goes for mr mark(sam's father) as he also worked in the school ten years ago and possibly knew luna".

"so..if we find out the teachers who worked in the school ten years ago and found their kids we might know the next victim" I said

"can I you please tell me about the diary now" Anna pleaded

I told them about everything I read in the diary and how I got the diary and also about the secret passage. Anna seemed speechless after hearing everything.

jack let out a sigh and said,"you sure got yourself into a big mess this time ".

we all knew what we had to do so we took the "death" book on the table. jack kept his hand on the book and said,

"we pledge to be cautious"

Anna kept hand above his hand and said,

"loyal"

Cleo kept her hand above Anna's hand and said,

"have fun"

max kept his hand above cleo's hand and said,

" be brave"

"and to always bring justice".

we decide to go back to my place to eat. and hence the afternoon was spent with us eating, making jokes with ace, watching movies,playing games and having fun. it felt like we had forgotten about everything else. and before we knew it, it was already 6:00pm so Cleo, Anna and jack left.

after they left ace asked me and max if we would like to spend the evening with him. we agreed and we spent the evening playing in the arcade (I really enjoyed beating ace and max in all the games)

after spending three hours playing ace said ,"let's go to your favourite restaurant tonight afterall I did promise". we entered the restaurant and saw the last person I would have ever wanted to see...
