Chapter 265 - § FIGURED IT OUT §

CHAPTER 012

"Why are you doing this, Rym?" He muttered, "Are you that mad because I hurt you earlier?..." She kept her head down as if she was repenting from her deed. Somehow, Kraig was determined to explain his side with her. He wanted her to understand him. "It's because you were crossing the line. You almost killed Tiana with that crystal ball." Her knuckles on both hands showed when she clenched it close as soon as he was done speaking. "Rym—"

"Because… I am sorry." Her soft voice echoed in his ears.

"Sorry for what?"

"For what I did on the field, for attempting to hurt Tiana, for exposing her secret, for saying that you were a ...t-trash." Kraig who was listening to her atoning, and restlessness, felt so alleviated that he was right. She was bluffing earlier, she didn't get over him… but again, why was he happy about it?

"I did that all...be-because I ...I like you a lot." She wiped the tears forming in her eyes but they persisted in flowing. Kraig didn't coax her, he watched her cry. She gaped at him with her misty eyes. "If you grant me one wish, I would s-stay away from you and Tiana forever."

Stay away forever? Kraig was perplexed, he could feel his forehead wrinkled. That is a promise you can't fulfill, the voice in his head mumbled while he stared back at her pitiful countenance.

"Are you in the position to ask for a wish?" he uttered, a tinge of annoyance blended in his calm tone. I don't like it, I hate this method she is using over me.

How did she even think of the idea of pushing him away? But in reality, it was pulling him in. No, maybe this was not her strategy, maybe it was the truth. She wanted to move on… she was really done with him. But, she just told him that she liked him a lot and she was sorry for her mistakes. That's the point, dumbass, she was trying to get over you. Kraig's brows twitched in irritation as he argued with himself.

He looked at her with narrowed eyes. She was biting her lips, unable to refute after his disgruntled assertion. She said she had a wish. "What wish?" He asked and shifted his angry eyes on the floor. He didn't want her to see his genuine feelings. He did not want to be vulnerable to her.

Because he figured it out, why he was pleased earlier when she was waiting for him in the cold and why he was upset right now that she wanted to stay away from him forever.

At the beginning of his return to the town, she was there. He always thought that Yanarym was the type of person who could never fall out of love and gave in so easily. A lonely and desperate woman who wanted compassion, tenderness, and affection from a man. The moment she professed her love to him, he knew that she became his. His property, his possession. That she could never leave him—no matter what he did. And she assured him that she won't get over him. He was assured of that fact. It made him forget that humans are very capable of change. And she could change too… she was changing right now… he did not want that.

Waiting for a long time, she did not answer his question. Kraig lifted his eyes to see what she was up to.

She was blushing. Her pale face was reddening, she was inwardly biting her lips as if she was having an internal conflict about whether to say what she was going to say. "Rym, I'm waiting."

"Just… o-only for… tonight, will you love me?" She took long pauses, she was fidgeting with her fingers, her voice turned to hush but he heard her, and he was bewildered.

Before he could even ask what she meant—he understood it was sex—she took off the only fabric that was covering her body. His eyes widened from surprise but recovered in a second. He was about to cover her with something but she held his hands and pulled him closer to her in his startled state.

He landed at her top and she wrapped her arms to his neck so that he couldn't get away. As her hands were cold, her body was warm and squishy. Particularly her breasts that were against his chest.

Kraig was so dumbfounded.

"What are you doing, Rym? Are you willing to get this low?" She wasn't listening, her eyes were entirely focusing on his eyes while gazing at him affectionately.

"You are always this beautiful Kraig." She whispered sweetly and used one of her hands to caress his face.

Her embrace loosened, he had a chance to get away from her, but his body remained stuck above her. Anticipating what she would say or do next. Her cold fingers, in contrast to her warm skin, intrigue his curiosity as a young hot blooded man.

"The brightest, and righteous, the heroic…" she pulled his nape, causing him to peck her lips unintentionally. "The man I love…" she mumbled as her lips parted, he felt her breath on his cheeks. She felt so warm in this cold. "You can say no, and get away." She closed her eyes and let go of his nape.

He was ready to push her and she gave him the chance to get away too, but he remained and gazed at her thin lips. They were wet and red from her nipping. Was it because of the radiant from the fireplace? She looked so alluring.

When she opened her eyes, she smiled and began to embrace him again. By unspoken consent, he conceded to her wish.

"Will you leave me forever after this night?" Kraig asked her the question and she slowly nodded.

You can't, Rym, he answered himself. You can't do that to me. I will never get abandoned—not even by you. "You will? Can you leave me?" He dwindled his eyes on her lips.

"I will." She mumbled and Kraig's eyes flickered darkly. Dissatisfied, he grabbed her hair and pushed her head to crash their lips.

You will? You should stop lying with your pretty mouth, his mind rattled.

He knew she could not do that, he would not let her do that. He knew that fact but… it was frustratingly unpleasant. Why would she lie? She cannot leave him be. She had to be always there for him! She was such a conniving liar. Detestable.

As he was not satiated with the slight touch of their lips earlier. He skimmed his lips to her lips, opened his mouth and held her chin, to angle himself, and kissed her angrily. Her mouth gasped as she was trying to breathe and it gave him access to enter with his tongue.

He was never as horny as this, his blood was surging and his mind was filled with wrecking this woman beneath him. Her mellow mewl with his kisses and touches made his member hard and throbbing. When he opened his eyes, her veneer beauty under the light of the fire carved on his brain.

He always thought that she was the prettiest woman he had ever seen, but people believed that beauty like hers, would only bring disaster. He never understood why his mother always warned him to stay away from pretty girls like Yanarym, but right now, he could understand why. This was the question he could answer out of all the questions brewed to him.

Her beauty was making him willing to sacrifice some things just to satisfy her for tonight.

Yanarym opened her eyes as she noticed that he wasn't doing anything anymore, and found out that he was staring at her with a predatorial expression. It only means one thing for her, she obtained her objective.

"What's wrong?" She held Kraig's face with her hands and stroked her thumbs to his cheeks. Yanarym laughed in her head, she knew his eyes and expressions very well. That dangerous gaze. "You won't do it? Won't you love me?"

"What will happen if you broke your promise?" Kraig said coldly but his gazes were burning. "What would I do if you talked to me or Tiana again?" Yanarym pecked on his lips and affectionately peered at his eyes.

"I won't, I will find someone else to love, I promised." Kraig paused hearing this from her. That was not the answer he wanted to hear.

He vowed this promise was meant to get broken but the thought of her trying to find someone else… his ego couldn't allow it. She—was she trying to drive him insane?

Instead of saying another word to her, he kissed her again and violently yanked her waist against his body, and she let out a whimper.

"T-that h-hurts Kraig." She cried to his ears as he planted kisses to her neck and chest while still retaliating against her skin for annoying him with her promise that she could never accomplish.. She would love someone else? She cannot.
