This was a world where science and magic co-existed. A world that could be experienced in books and imagination. Yanarym was already way far from the factual realm she used to know. Maybe this mystic realm had become her new reality yet everything until now felt so surreal. She could no longer recognize the distinction between fantasy and reality. Ever since her first death, the resurrection was already more than a miracle for her. What more of acquiring life for the fourth time?

The sun shone so gaily yet the whole place was heavily decorated with the massive black blocks called 'req' emitting cold air. It was a magical thing, a very similar function to air-conditioning machines. Right above where she was standing was a giant limpid sphere covering the entire field. She had the impression she was confined inside a tremendous snow globe ball.

Of course, everything just now had become a lot more fascinating than ever, especially her high-tech magic boots which helped her float in the air. It was so unique because it functions with high-end technology and at the same time was being powered by the essence of magic. If she would rate the world from her preference, definitely it would be a nine out of ten. The world would be perfect if no scumbags and jerks were living in it.

"...Seriously?" Yanarym uttered in annoyance, she just finished receiving the plot. "I am not taking that walk-through of a bad ending! I may have to die but I will die by my own accord!" Kicked her foot while she was suspended in the air. "This story is shit! Did the original die like that? Why do all of my body owners die in vain?!" She was beyond delighted to have such a big role for the first time. Especially in a fantasy setting, but it turned out there was still nothing to be happy about!

Guide-sama: "Because it was their purpose. It is a sacrifice to create a greater play and evoke the readers to feel strong emotions. That is why you need to fulfill their wishes, to honor their unjust death." Yanarym nodded in agreement.

"Okay," she murmured with a smirk, "Let's do it then. I should start working on it now since she has left so much work for me to do."

Guide-sama: "What's your plan?"

"Before that, what's the progression of the story?"

Guide-sama: "Your character already fell in love with Lyndon."

"Oh, the jerk? Okay. Let's see. First, I want retribution for the original! I promise to compensate you, original!"

Guide-sama: "I'm glad that you are so motivated, Yanarym."

A loud bang similar to an explosion of a cannon bomb was heard across the field, indicating the time to take a break from playing. The number of people descending from the sky steadily grew until everyone was resting on the grass field. Almost each of them had their group of friends, especially the female lead, the town's celebrity.

Yanarym, in her first life, was never a loner at school. Although she hated the crowd, she was surrounded by a small company of friends. She hadn't even experienced being bullied before nor bullied one. She also had crushes who liked her back but no one was compatible with her. Whereas, the original's life was so lonely and depressing, the very opposite of the simple life Yanarym had. Currently, chilling in front of the req while sipping on a bottle of potion with healing properties. She somehow regarded this as a refreshing occasion. It is not bad being alone, she thought. Silently observing students in the class that she belonged to. Though her attention was primarily fixated on the three main protagonists of the story.

Because she already rated the world itself, she would not lose anything if she would do the same to the main leads. Since she had to stay here until she finished the bottle of healing potion better examine the opponent well.

Based on physical appearances, she would rate the female lead with six out of ten. Tiana had so-so beauty but her charm and personality overpowered her looks worthy of a nine-scored person. However, drum roll, plot twist, the always bubbly, kind, and virtuous heroine was a big liar faking her curse to get the attention that she wanted. In this kind of world, Tiana was the worst scam ever. So, then, by becoming a scammer, her rate would fall to one.

Lyndon had a face worthy of praise. If it was purely by appearance, Yanarym would allot him nine out of ten. Red hair, thick tamed arched eyebrows, clear grimy green eyes, proud narrow nose, delectable lips, and defined tense jaw. Nonetheless, he had a rotten personality reeking down to the core, which caused his rate to drop to three. She would rather go back to her sweet cinnamon roll Yazeno than fancy this trash Lyndon. Like heck, never in his wildest dreams. Either way, she would make him regret being alive until his life flashed before his eyes.

On the contrary of Lyndon's strong feature, she pictured Kraig with an angel's halo on his head. His hair was blue, the shade of celeste. He was radiating gentlemanliness, the way he talked was comfortable, and his smiles were delicate, they were bright but not blinding enough. Those lush green eyes… looked so sincere and soothing. No one would even think he was capable of doing hideous acts such as cannibalism not only to survive but also to bed the female lead. And yet again, another piece of trash.

"Guide-sama, why is this world inarguably… so annoyingly full of douchebags? I just can't! THEY DON'T DESERVE THIS WORLD! This is a paradise yet they made it seem like literally a dumpster where the universe dumps its wastes!"

Guide-sama: "...I don't know. I did not write this."

"Maybe the author was a scumbag himself or herself," she rolled her eyes. "The setting is great, why didn't the author make better main characters?" She gritted her teeth on the straw of the potion.

Guide-sama: "I don't know, I'm sorry." While she was in the zone of criticizing anything Tiana walked towards her with a concerned look on her face. What great timing to interfere with my disparaging, Yanarym sneered at Tiana.

"Rym, are you okay? I saw you took the fall earlier." Tiana uttered with tenderness. Kraig beside her saw how Yanarym's eyes were opaque, his protectiveness towards Tiana was activated. He glared at Yanarym as a warning.

Oh, yeah. Yanarym stared at him. This was almost half of the outline of the story where Kraig was already infatuated with Tiana and oftentimes expressed resistance towards the original. She shrugged her shoulders as she took another sip from her healing potion. She didn't say a word; her stare was cold and stony-eyed, almost as if she was looking at no one.

"Rym?" Tiana awkwardly smiled, trying to lighten up the tension.

Yanarym raised her eyebrow and jeered at Tiana, "Are we close? Why are you calling me by my nickname?"

"Hey, she's just concerned about you," one of Tiana's followers said. "Stop being rude to her."

"Right. You shouldn't even pay attention to her, Tiana. Just ignore her."

"But… she's hurt." This time, Tiana lowered her voice but made sure she was still heard by everybody. Touched by her warmheartedness, everyone looked at her admiringly and comforted her. Kraig held her arm before gently pulling her away from Yanarym and stood between her and Tiana, like a knight protecting her princess.

It was horrible. Watching this stupid skit was too cringey for Yanarym, she couldn't take it. It was as if there were thousands of bugs crawling beneath her skin; it gave her serious goosebumps. They were all so fucking infuriating she just wanted to laugh at them out of disgust. No wonder the original chose to stay disconnected from these people. She was very grateful God had cursed them because they deserved it, truly! They were all just a bunch of hypocrites!

Oh, no. Yanarym mentally covered her mouth. Her dark side slipped. She should not let these people provoke her. Deep breathes, Yanarym.. Stay calm.
