Chapter 229 - NOT SEX

Lawrence found Cailly on the elevator, pressing the button frantically. He slowed down his pace and gawked at her.

Yanarym, despite her witchy personality, whenever they were together, was the type of person who was very sensitive to people's thoughts. And although she could handle men who were flirting with her, just like how she handled him before. She's very conservative when it comes to intimacy. She had her ideals about love and physical interaction.

It took him more than half a year to kiss her, without getting her offended. He adjusted so much for her and didn't have a sex life ever since he met her. He complied with her and understood her concerns.

Until he just got used to it and valued what she believed in too. Fortunately, she was not that sensitive talking about it, they were both open-minded discussing that private stuff because he wanted to clarify. They talked about her virginity and sexual fantasies, then he remembered, she said, she will give her entire self to her future husband, and she will never give it to him because he's just her boyfriend.

He thought before that he wouldn't last long with this kind of set-up, but he did. And he could last longer, he doesn't think about coveting her body but feels really happy whenever she complies with their foreplays. It's like he always won the lottery after they've done it. He felt that her affection for him was rising whenever their body heat rhythms together.

She was the one who initiated their first foreplay, he was surprised back then but she told him that she knew he had his needs as a man.

When they talked about it, Yanarym offered a break-up that for him was not surprising. The one who was surprised was her because he chose to stay and continue their sexless relationship, and told her that he could just masturbate to quench his thirst but he will not take break-up as a solution.

Then, she said, she will help him. But she was the one who was scared the whole time they've done their first foreplay. It was a refreshing experience for him, instead of thinking of her as someone naughty, he found her adorable.

It took three months before they did it again, she's still scared. She was anxious about committing to it but she always managed, he just got her used to him recently. She could openly, without care, do it with him. However, this incident happened, he saw how terrified she was when Cailly found them. He doesn't care, he's not an exhibitionist but it doesn't affect him being watched by someone while having sex. But Yanarym was not like him, she might not let him touch her anymore because of this incident.

"Cailly," He called her and that made her halt her movements, she turned to him and bit her lip.

Cailly felt cold sweat on her forehead, she didn't mean to watch them, but when she heard Yanarym's moaning and Lawrence whispers, she saw Lawrence loving her tenderly, she couldn't take her eyes off them.

"Law ...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to---"

"No, listen to me, don't talk about this to anyone, I know it's a common thing that couples do, but believe me, we haven't done it yet." He said in a serious tone, he peered at her blankly with judging eyes.

"I am...I'm not asking--- I mean, I..." She gasped for air and tried to contemplate something to answer him, but she kept on stuttering and couldn't think of any words to say.

"No, Cai listen, Yanarym, she… she will be stressed out if this matter reaches anyone else, especially your brothers." She opened her mouth but paused, and then looked up to him.

"I'm not gonna tell anyone about this Law." She said in a low tone but he didn't bat an eye. He kept those frigid scornful eyes. He sighed and nodded before losing the tension of his body.

"Thank you, I'm back going to our room---" He was about to leave but subconsciously, Cailly held his arm to stop him from going away. She doesn't want him to leave angry with her again.

"I'm sorry for coming with you, ruining your vacation with Rym, I didn't mean this all to happen. I promised to leave tomorrow." She bowed her head and let go of his arm.

"Rym won't be happy if you do that." Cailly looked up again to see his face after he said that, more withdrawn than he was. She gulped, she suggested a solution but it only worsened the situation. "You will only make it worse if you do that."

"Then, what should I do?"

"Just act like it didn't happen." He said coldly that made her awestruck, gaping at his nettled expression, as if it's screaming to her face how annoying her existence was for him. She couldn't say a word as they stared at each other with different emotions. "See you around." Lawrence completely turned his back on her, taking a few steps but was stopped when she said another phrase.

"Are you mad at me?" There, she said frankly with a firm tone regarding what treatment she's receiving from him. She took a deep breath to have courage on voicing out. He redirected his attention to her and she remained in her stance.

"I'm not." Lawrence creased his brows, but Cailly did not back down.

"You are, you're cold to me, you're irritated and annoyed by me but you're trying to be nice to me because Rym's around." She exclaimed, bit her lower lip, feeling frustrated that her heart is weighing heavier.

"Cai..."

"You don't have to be so rude." She said and then sobbed, "I didn't mean to see you having sex with my sister---"

"We're not!... Having sex! ...it's not sex, Cailly, what's wrong with you? Don't make me look like a bad person.." Her hands formed a fist, she glared at him and scowled.
