Chapter 176 - Isaac Vs. Orcs.

'I wonder how far I am from top-level Players...' Isaac thought to himself, and remembering that HolySword was level 30, the top Players might be closing in level 40.

There has been a bigger gap in the levels than previously because truly skilled players have started appearing. They can defeat monsters way above their levels, which increases their leveling speed.

While there are players who don't go fight against monsters and beasts who are higher level, which is a slow, but safe way of grinding XP.

'This is my chance of catching up...' He swiped the bangs out of the way of his eyes and looked straight towards the group of Orcs.

From the cave, footsteps appeared. Previously there was only 5 Orc's, but after everyone in the cave had exited, there were 10!

Ten massive 2-meter tall Orc's surrounded Isaac, who only looked prey in their eyes.

Isaac came to the conclusion that he couldn't survive this fight with only his blade.

'How did King Klaus manage to win without using his gun's full potential...' He didn't know the answer to that question, but remembered Tristan's words and description about King Klaus.

It was clear that he had the same gun as Isaac, at least somewhat similar. Apparently, it was longer than Isaac's, which made him wonder what kind of gun he managed to buy.

He shook his head to get rid of the useless thoughts and focused on the current situation.

He opened the chamber and saw two bullets inside, which can be used to take down two Orc's, if he is lucky enough.

''Kruh!'' The Orc patted its muscular chest and shouted, ''KRUH!''

''KRUH!'' Rest of the Orcs followed and patted their own muscular chests.

After they were done with their battlecry, they started inching closer on Isaac.

Isaac's body was soon covered in large shadows of the Orcs, who were getting closer with their terrible stench already assaulting his nostrils.

He quickly turned around and scanned the best possible escape route and soon found it.

One of the Orcs was a little bit impatient and was at least half a step quicker than others, which made their encirclement flawed.

None of the Orcs noticed, but Isaac did.

The Orcs wondered what Isaac's next move was, but they didn't expect him to be able to do anything.

Some of them didn't see Isaac massacring their footsoldiers, which made them even slightly arrogant.

Isaac took a short breath and without any warning signs or even any intention of attacking. He suddenly turned and fired.

*BANG!*

The surroundings became silent instantly after the bullet was fired, but soon that silence was interrupted after a dead Orc fell down to the ground.

Isaac used this as a chance to get out of the encirclement and managed to do that fairly easily by jumping over the Orc's dead corpse.

The rest of the Orcs woke up from their stupor and felt angered.

They feel embarrassed to see such weak and young-looking human killing them effortlessly!

Isaac knew that they would be in a state of shock some time longer; it was the perfect time to use that to his advantage.

With his Musket Rifle ready to be fired, he turned and squeezed the trigger.

*BANG!*

The recoil rocked his shoulder, pushing him a step backward.

*SPURT!*

The bullet landed right in the middle of the two eyes of the Orc.

The shock of the bullet landing right on the face sent his massive body flying.

*CRASH*

After the Orc's massive body fell down to the ground, it managed to take a few last painful breaths before it's heart stopped.

''Krah!'' The Orc who was giving orders to the Goblins had enough of the human's killing spree. Without waiting for other Orcs, he rushed straight towards Isaac.

His muscular body seemed clumsy but was much faster than the Goblins.

He swung his large wooden mace, which has enough velocity and strength behind to crush Isaac's bones till nothing is left!

Isaac leaned behind, with his whole body leaning closer and closer towards the ground.

He only saw a flash of brown as the wooden mace flew past his head.

*BAM!*

The wind pressure caused by the wooden mace destroyed a part of the rock wall.

It told everything Isaac needed to know. The strength behind Orc's strikes is strong enough to kill a 50 level player!

At least that's what Isaac thinks, but he has no idea how strong the players are when they reach level 50 and get their third skill.

Isaac quickly straightened his back and retreated a dozen meters away.

The Orcs quickly followed after him.

Their large and loud steps were clear as the sky for Isaac, who was running away but didn't manage to outrun them!

He thought he was very quick compared to other Players, but he isn't any faster compared to the Orcs!

A youth with white hair and eight Orcs was nearing on the large body of the Centipede. At first, it looked like Isaac was running towards the dead end, but this was exactly what he wanted!

Centipede's body wasn't smooth. Instead, it was very rough, and there was something that could be used to climb to the top of the large body!

The spikes!

There are millions of smaller and larger spikes appearing underneath the purple armor of the Centipede, which can be used to climb.

Isaac soon reached the Centipede's body, while the Orcs were getting near with each passing moment.

The cooldown of his weapon is ticking down, and it won't take long before he can use his weapon again, but he needs to survive till then!

He has the perfect way to how to bide time and how to escape this place!

Isaac concentrated his strength on his right leg's muscles and used all his strength to jump high in the air.

The Orcs widened their eyes in shock as Isaac flew through the air like a falcon!

Isaac grabbed the first spike and quickly put his legs on top of two other spikes, which allowed him to keep standing.

Looking below him, he saw the angry-looking Orcs looking straight at him; they had no intention to give up on killing Isaac.

But, he didn't care and didn't feel any fear anymore.

Looking straight up, he saw that there was a long climb ahead, but in the real life, his genius mind helped him to learn any sport he tried in a matter of hours!

He learned in a few hours, became good in a day, and became master after a week.

That was before his visit to the Fountain of Life, now he feels like he is smarter than ever before.

''It is time to learn how to climb.'' Isaac smiled and started slowly climbing.

He used his hands to grab onto the spikes and pulled his legs up to stand on the spikes, and just like that, his journey to the top had begun.

The second round of his climbing journey had begun.
