Chapter 163 - Divinity.

Somewhere in Winterland.

A small two-floor building, surrounded by a white wooden fence. It was located in an ordinary neighborhood, which wasn't either too wealthy or poor.

The two-floor building wasn't anything special, but currently, there was a young man in his 18s with black hair sitting in front of an expensive-looking PC, with a 144hz monitor and powerful sounding computer.

He was currently scrolling through a website, which was very familiar-looking with a logo of StreamKing at the top.

Currently, there was nothing to watch, except some early birds who started streaming early, but he got bored in only a minute by watching.

Those streams mostly rely on their looks to survive on the battlefield called StreamKing, and some might buy their act, but this young man can clearly see through each one of them and can tell with a glance the personality of the streamers.

''Money-hungry fuckers...'' He rubbed his forehead with annoyance, and since he didn't have anything else to do because his VR Helmet that he ordered would only arrive tomorrow after ordering it only a minute too late.

The VR Helmets got sold out faster than he could have ever imagined, and that's why he had to wait for someone to sell their own VR Helmets, but to his surprise, no one wanted to sell their own.

But with a streak of luck, he found someone selling Bronze VR Helmet because that person was wealthy enough to buy a better version and didn't have any use for Bronze one and decided to sell it.

It was more expensive as well because the seller knew that it was in high demand.

This young man had to live the rest of the month with a cup of noodles, but he thought it was worth it.

After not finding anything on the top streamer list, he decided to enter a dark abyss, which he never have looked at before.

He doesn't like to watch new streamers because their incompetence annoys him greatly, but there could be hidden gems, which are ignored by many because their looks aren't either at par with others, and their gaming skills might not be anything spectacular.

But, they can still be very entertaining, but that is rare in cases, and many get depressed after their streaming career just won't start picking up.

He felt saddened that one of his favorite streamers of all time stopped streaming after getting hateful comments about his looks, even though he was very entertaining and kind, not doing it for money, but instead because he enjoyed it.

He felt like killing them whoever insulted him, and this young man saw some of their nametags hanging around streams which uses their looks to make their earnings. They are literally drooling and throwing their money at them, even though they are obviously acting.

After double-clicking the mouse, the screen showed the New Streamer section, with most of them having 0 views and some 1, but he saw one of them having 2 viewers and decided to check it out, but before managing to do that.

Another stream popped up on top of the list, and it intriqued him after seeing the thumbnail of the stream.

It showed a figure who was looking at the interface; only a side of the face was visible, but it was extremely delicate-looking, and the young man instantly felt his heart starting to beat faster and clicked the streamer's info.

[Gender: Male]

''Pah!'' His eyes bulged out of his skulls as he leaned closer to the screen and moved his head back and forth.

First, he looked at the thumbnail and then at the gender.

''Male, what the fuck?!'' He didn't believe it one bit and double-clicked the thumbnail, which took him to the stream.

He increased the volume from his headset and locked his hands with a concentrated look.

The young man at first saw the white-haired individual's face turning shocked after seeing the view count, and it made even certain to him that this new streamer can't be male!

Cute would be an understatement if describing this white-haired individual's looks.

''If he is really male... This is a streamer I can see succeeding...'' He started typing on the keyboard, with only thought ringing in his mind.

'Unique... Even if he was a female, those looks could take him to top, but if this is another money-hungry streamer...' He wanted to know what kind of streamer this Wraith is.

He pressed enter, and the first ever message on the chat popped up.

[Divinity: Are you really a male? I am not buying it!]

This time, he looked curiously at the body language of the white-haired individual and saw his face becoming surprised until a chuckle escaped his mouth.

''I am a male, sorry to disappoint you.'' The young man widened his eyes in shock after hearing the pleasant voice tickling his eardrums, and he was certain that the voice belonged to a male!

Sometimes, he feels annoyed wearing headsets because some of the streamers have a coarse voice or very annoying one, mostly among top streamers, that's why his ears usually feel irritated, but this time, he could listen to that voice for hours without end.

A small smile appeared on his face after hearing Wraith's answer, which was filled with sarcasm.

''Hmm, let's see what he answers to this.'' With a crack of his knuckles, he started typing once more.

[Divinity: Proof it]

''Heh.'' He, of course, said it as a joke, and he wanted to know what his response would be.

''Proof it?'' The white-haired young man on the screen tilted his head, which showed his facial features even better, especially the ears that were hidden underneath the white hair.

Divinity waited in silence and saw the white-haired young man rubbing his chin before replying.

''Fine.'' His answer surprised Divinity and was about to stop him from doing anything rash before getting banned, but he did something unexpected.

The camera moved closer towards the face of the white-haired young man, and once it was almost touching the nose, he raised his head slightly so that his throat was the only thing visible.

Divinity narrowed his eyes and wondered what was the meaning of this.

''Only males have an adam's apple, which should prove my gender, correct?'' The white-haired young man said with a sly smirk, ''Some females have it, but it is almost unnoticeable, and those who have bigger ones are very rare, so it should be enough of proof?''

Divinity indeed saw the adam's apple moving with each movement of the mouth and knew that the white-haired young man was speaking the truth, but he was stubborn and wanted to have some fun.

[Divinity: That doesn't prove anything!!]

''Hah.'' Out of nowhere, the white-haired young man laughed and moved the camera further away, ''That's the only proof you will get.''

''Pah!'' Divinity waved his hand and acted like he was annoyed, but he was actually amused and decided to keep watching to see what kind of stream this would end up being.
