Chapter 53 - Teleportation Pearl.

''Mmm...'' Isaac groggily opened his eyes. The light coming from the windows made his room bright and cozy.

''Haah.'' He yawned and stood up from his bed. He did his usual morning routine and left the room while still wearing his sleeping outfit.

Soon, he entered the dining room, where his family was already gathered.

They still looked shocked after seeing Isaac waking up so early.

He sat down on the chair next to Marvin and lazily grabbed a sandwich, and started munching like a squirrel eating seeds.

Isabella and Alice sighed with satisfaction after seeing the scene.

Sophia took a small glance but quickly turned her head away and continued eating her breakfast.

''Isaac, I bought the VR Helmet as well. I will play tonight with my friends,'' Marvin said with slight excitement.

''Really?!'' Isaac's tiredness disappeared. He looked at his big brother with mouth agape.

He knows that Marvin has never been interested in games. He mostly spends time with his delinquent friends.

''Few of my friends tried it, and they seemed to like it,'' Marvin said and took a sip of the coffee.

Isaac nodded, and he started to feel slight pity for other players in White Online.

Marvin's friends are quite... Unique.

But, Isaac likes them, and they treat him like he is their little brother.

''I want to play too!'' Mark slammed the table and shouted.

''Not happening, mister,'' Isabella said with an amused smile.

Mark fumed in anger and left the dining room with angry steps, but it looked like a small bird making a ruckus.

Isabella chuckled and shook her head.

''Shall we go? I need to be in office in about...'' Maxwell said and looked at his wristwatch, ''30 minutes.''

Sophia, Marvin, and Alice nodded. They stood up and went to get ready.

Maxwell stood up and put his hand on prayer one more time, ''Thanks for food, Goddess of Snow.'' After that, he left towards the garage to get his car ready.

Only Isaac and Isabella were left in the dining room.

''Eat well so that you won't get hungry inside the game.'' Isabella gently said. She stood up and started cleaning the table.

''Yup.'' Isaac ate till he was completely full. He helped Isabella to take the plates to the kitchen.

He put them next to the sink and felt Isabella's gently patting him in the head, ''I appreciate the help, but I can feel your impatience. You can go.'' She said with an amused smile.

Isaac pursed his lips. He kissed Isabella's cheek and ran towards his room.

Isabella gently touched her cheek, and with newfound energy, she started doing the dishes.

There are servants to do these kinds of things, but she is from poor living conditions, and she never wants to forget her roots.

Isaac received her personality of saving money. He never wants to spend money if it isn't necessary.

Soon, he entered his room and took the VR Helmet from the wardrobe.

He lied down on his bed and covered his head with the helmet.

Isaac opened his eyes and saw a slightly familiar ceiling.

He looked around the room and recognized it as his rented room. He didn't stand up— instead, he waited for the specific messages to pop up.

''Increase of 5...'' Isaac murmured. Yesterday there were 27 contenders, but now 32.

He sat up in his bed and opened his Inventory.

It was time to check the items he received from Hobgoblin.

There were five items he didn't recognize.

Isaac pressed the info of every item and started reading.

[Hobgoblin's Teleportation Pearl (1 use) - Epic]

Isaac didn't move or blink.

He stayed completely still until he said one word, ''Wow...''

He took the Teleportation Pearl from the Inventory. It was large marble the size of his palm, it had a greenish hue, but it was mostly blue.

''Can I use this to teleport to the Forest of Unknown...'' Isaac murmured, but then his thoughts were interrupted by a knocking sound.

*Knock* *Knock*

''Wraith, are you there?'' He recognized the voice as Bella's.

Isaac left his room and opened the door to his room. He saw a beautiful black-haired girl with long eyelashes and delicate-looking eyebrows looking at him without blinking.

''I never saw you returning, so I became worried.'' Bella said shyly while taking glimpses at Isaac, ''U-Umm... Why aren't you wearing anything?'' Her face was dyed in pink.

''Hmm?'' Isaac looked at himself and saw him standing half-naked, only wearing white boxers, ''Eh?''

*Bam*

Isaac quickly slammed the door shut.

On the other side of the door, Bella hid her blushing face.

Isaac quickly put on his outfit, which consisted of the newbie clothing and his Chain Armor.

''Weird... why I wasn't wearing anything... Was it because I played till the time limit?'' Isaac thought aloud. He opened the door once again and saw Bella standing calmly.

She was holding a plate of food, ''I made food. I hope you enjoy it.''

''Oh, thanks.'' Isaac took the plate with a small smile.

Bella smiled and left. The scene is still stuck in her mind.

Isaac closed the door and went back to his room. Before he starts eating, he took his items from the Inventory and put them under the bed, just in case.

After that, he quickly ate the delicious food. This time, he didn't receive Stats.

He felt slightly disappointed.

Soon the plate was empty. He put it on his bed and took the Teleportation Pearl again.

His dark red nametag was gone, replaced with bright white.

His XP Boost Potion has also expired.

''I hope this works...'' Isaac murmured. He took a deep breath and said, ''Forest of Unknown.''

He heard in forums that most of the items work with voice command.

He wasn't sure will this work, but soon the large marble started glowing.

The bright light assaulted Isaac's eyes, he quickly closed his eyes, and once the bright light disappeared, he once again opened his eyes.

He saw him standing in the middle of the dark forest.
