51 Blazing falcon

Lee Zheng was walking toward the fighting stage and he could already hear the crowd cheering.

"Ladies and gentlemen the second fight of this evening is between the blazing falcon who is 3 in 2, and the newcomer snow sky fighter." The announcer said.

Both Lee Zheng and the blazing falcon made their way up the stage. The blazing falcon was a man who was in his mid-twenties. He had a slender build and had a graceful yet dangerous appearance. Next to that Lee Zheng was a little kid with a mask on. The people couldn't tell his real age but they could still see he wasn't in his twenties.

The referee quickly announced the start of the fight.

Immediately after the referee announced the start of the fight both fighter unleashed their soul form. The bright lights made a beautiful contrast of bright blue with a cold feel and a deep red with a hot feel. The blazing falcon soul form could be considered the rival of the snow white eagle soul form.

The first soul jewel of the opponent lit up. It was a light red soul jewel meaning it was approaching the one-hundred-year-old level. However, it was no match for Lee Zheng's soul technique which was granted to him by a soul jewel which was almost one-thousand-years-old.

The opponents spew out flames but Lee Zheng just used his wings to slash at the air which slashed right through the fire and made it disappear.

Next moment the opponent's second soul jewel lit up. His entire body was engulfed in flames and his speed increased tremendously. Seeing this Lee Zheng also used his second soul technique: eagle vision. With his eagle vision, it was not that hard to keep up with his opponent. Even though he couldn't physically keep up he could still see his opponent and block his attacks.

In the next moment, Lee Zheng shut his eyes and started breathing very calmly. He then opened his eyes and focused on the blazing falcon. The next second his opponent slammed into something invisible. No one knew what was happening except for Wang Wei and Long Yue. It was the air strike martial arts. If you don't know about it, it is really effective.

'I can't lose. Especially because my friends betted all their money that I would win. I won't let them down.' Lee Zheng thought to himself.

What he thought was true. Wang Wei, Long Yue and Chen Li betted all their money on that Lee Zheng would win.

"Wang Wei, the air strike arts you gave him really helped him." Long Yue said.

"So that is what it was." Chen Li said. "I was thinking that it would be really weird for his opponent just to fall down like that."

"It is really handy." Wang Wei said. "But it is still only the basics of the basics. He only is able to do this because he understands different things really fast. He just got the arts yesterday and can already execute them. I mean you can't execute the lightning steps. Can you Long Yue?"

"No, not yet but I think that I can execute the basics within two weeks." Long Yue said.

"That is amazing." Chen Li said. "Is there any martial art technique you would recommend me?"

"Seeing as you have the blazing sun soul form I think the sun arts might be something for you." Wang Wei said.

"Sun arts? What are those?" Chen Li asked.

"The sun arts are an ancient martial arts technique created by the different positions of the sun. There is the morning stance, the mid-day stance, the afternoon stance, and the evening stance. Those are the basic stances the two strongest stances are the dusk and dawn stance. They each come with a strike. Whether it is a palm strike or a kick the power is incredible. I think you can buy it at the auction house next week." Wang Wei said.

"Well then, next week we are going to visit the jade city auction house." Chen Li said.

"Perfect. I was already planning on going there to get some martial art techniques." Wang Wei said as he looked back toward the fighting stage.

By this time the blazing falcon was low on soul energy. He was using his second soul technique all the time. Once he knew Lee Zheng was using the air strike arts he was able to dodge it a few times but he still got hit.

"You have got skills kid." The blazing falcon said. "But however it ends here." He said as his first soul jewel lit up again and he spat out flames.

The flames made their way to Lee Zheng and everyone was holding their breath waiting to see what was going to happen.

The blazing falcon had a victorious smile on his face but that soon faded when he saw that Lee Zheng slashed away the flames with a sword made out of feathers.

That's right! Lee Zheng used his individual skill feather sword. His body swayed once and he appeared before the blazing falcon. His sword technique also starting showing the fruits of his labor. He held the sword to the throat of the blazing falcon.

"Give up." Lee Zheng calmly said.

"I concede!" The blazing falcon yelled out.

And like that Lee Zheng also got his first win in the battle arena. He walked off stage and toward the room in which his friends would be.

When he entered his friends congratulated him.

The same man who was waiting for Wang Wei also was waiting for Lee Zheng.

"Snow sky fighter. Here is an interspatial ring which contains the amount of money you won. I hope that you will keep fighting in our arena as well as the fire bone master." The man said.

"Of course we will. And our friend will too." He said as he pointed toward Long Yue and Chen Li.

"Now that you mention your friends, Leopard fighter you're next." The man said as he walked out of the room.
