The next moment Long Sha disappeared and all that could be seen was a shadow streak moving along the ground.

Long Sha reappeared behind Wang Wei and kicked him.

"How do you like that?" Long Sha said. "Do you really think you and your friends are the only ones with individual skills? I admit they are very difficult to produce but for a genius like me, it is not that hard. I am impressed that trash like you and your friends could produce individual skills. Hehehe."

"I told you not to call us trash." Wang Wei said as he brandished his snake claws. At the same time, he let his defensive scales appear.

"It is only the third round but this is a fight one would see in the finals. Who would have believed that Long Sha with the shadow dragon soul form would have a hard time defeating someone with the red snake soul form?" the announcer said.

'How can I not defeat this guy? Me, Long Sha with the shadow dragon soul form and shadow growth soul technique." Long Sha thought to himself.

The next moment Wang Wei ran toward Long Sha as he was getting ready to hit him. He arrived before Long Sha and turned to do a spinning heel kick but right before he hit he stopped and turned the opposite direction and swung his claws at Long Sha.

"Aaaargh!"

Long Sha was hit! He had blood flowing down his arms and his chest now. He had a big cut from his left shoulder to his right ribs.

"You will pay for that!" Long Sha said as he released his soul technique once again.

Once he grew to the size of three meters he swung at Wang Wei. It was to fast for Wang Wei. He was hit in the guts. As he flew back he spat out a mouthful of blood.

"This is the first time we have seen Wang Wei wounded!" the announcer said.

"Heh, not bad." Wang Wei said. "But it is not enough for you to defeat me."

He pounced at Long Sha and cut both his legs. His claws weren't sharp enough to cut through Long Sha' legs but they were sharp enough to leave a two-centimeter cut. The next thing that happened was Long Sha falling down to the ground.

"So, do you still think I'm trash?" Wang Wei asked as he kicked Long Sha in the face.

Long Sha was unconscious.

"The winner is Wang Wei! There is no-one who can stop him now! He might go on and win this whole tournament!" the announcer said.

"That was amazing! You really shut him up." Lee Zheng said.

"Don't you dare lose before you face me in the finals." Long Yue said.

"I won't but I don't think I can really fight anymore today. So I'm counting on the both of you for the upcoming fights today." Wang Wei said.

"Of course you can leave it to us." Long Yue said. "Well, I gotta go now my fight is starting soon."

"Good luck." Wang Wei said as he got ready to start cultivating.

Long Yue' fight was over very fast. For the duo tournament, Lee Zheng was substituted for Wang Wei. And the trio competition was done while Wang Wei was cultivating. His fight with Long Sha cost him a lot of soul power.

Back at the hotel.

"Wang Wei, Long Yue, Lee Zheng." Teacher Li Yun called.

"Yes?" the three boys replied.

"I just heard from the people who organize the tournament that from today on we have one resting day between competition days. So now that we know this, Wang Wei, you can go and search for your second soul jewel. I am really interested as to how old your second soul jewel will be." Li Yun said.

"I don't know but it won't be a ten-thousand-year-old one because my body can't handle that. It was even a surprise that I was able to handle a five-thousand-year-old soul jewel. I think the only way I and Long Yue were able to handle it was because of the martial arts that we practice and it made us even stronger. Even you Lee Zheng I am still quite boggled that you were able to integrate with a nine-hundred-year-old soul jewel."

"I know right. I will explain." Lee Zheng said. "My family is not the most powerful family in victory village but my mother is a descendant of a powerful family. "Oh, so that is how you were able to suddenly rise up." Long Yue said.

"That's right if it wasn't for my mother her heritage I wouldn't be where I am today."

"It's getting late. You boys should go to sleep. That way you will be well rested tomorrow." Li Yun said.

The next morning after the three boys had breakfast they went to the forest again in search for Wang Wei' second soul jewel.

"Imagine how surprised everyone will be when we show our two soul jewels in competition." Long Yue said.

"Yeah, about that I think it would be best to try and avoid using our soul jewels during the competition. What if someone with bad intentions will capture us and use us for some evil deeds?" Wang Wei said.

"Yeah, you're right." Long Yue said in response.

"What kind of soul beast do you want to kill now? Will it be a holy or an unholy soul beast?" Lee Zheng asked.

"I think I will go for a black emperor snake. It is an unholy soul beast that will only show up if you venture deep into this forest. The youngest ones you can find are at least one-thousand-years-old. It will be perfect for me as they are the most poisonous type of soul beast. Even a ten-thousand-year-old soul beast would think twice before attacking one."

"Okay, let's go then." Long Yue said.
