Lu Zhaoyang felt guilty and accepted his lecture sincerely. Last night was her fault.

"You left early?"

Lu Zhaoyang looked at the glass of water on her desk. She had accepted the stupid challenge because she thought Lin Yazhi was there, but the young lady had actually left early.

Lu Zhaoyang massaged her temples to ease the dizziness she was still feeling. "There won't be a next time. Go back to work, I'm fine."

Huo Yunting smiled and did not pursue it further. Instead, he continued whispering beside her ear, "Who do you think is the most suspicious?"

Lu Zhaoyang looked at everyone sitting around the large, round table. The planning department was the company's most important department. The staff members there were all personally trained and led by Huo Yunting. Their loyalty to Huo Yunting was absolute.

Huo Li had also investigated their background. There were no particular circ.u.mstances in their lives that would threaten this loyalty.

Those further down the corporate ladder could not possibly do it. The most suspicious people were the ones who joined the tender process. Huang Dong was the only that she could think of who had done something like this.

She and Huo Yunting never said this out loud, but they were thinking of the same thing.

"I heard that Huang Dong is planning to invest in a company. I'd like to give you a sum of money to help you out."

Lu Zhaoyang looked at him in confusion. What is he thinking ?

Huang Dong panicked at the attention he was getting. Everyone at the table were now looking at him.
