At that thought, even though an affair was taking place, something angry was boiling inside.

Something bright red flashed in Vivian’s heart. She’d felt this feeling before.  When Roger, who was ferocious, was courteous to another woman.  Even then, Vivian felt the obvious emotion of jealousy.
