Chapter 1460 It Would Happen One Day

Iris heard Faye's words, and they made her take pause. She was asking her to choose which was more important to her, her future or her younger brother's? It was a terrible dilemma that Faye had forced upon Iris, and she held all the cards.

Her brother had already invested a lot of time training and studying at the college of music. He was handsome and had a genuine talent for singing and acting. One could say that Iris' brother was a natural entertainer.

There was no doubt in anyone's mind that Iris' brother had a bright future.

There was no one that worked harder for that future than Iris herself. For many years Iris gritted her teeth, working as hard as she could to ensure that her brother's future would be preserved. There was nothing Iris wanted for her brother, but for him to achieve his dreams.

She had been waiting patiently, hoping for that day when her brother would finally break out to be a movie or TV star.

She hoped his dreams would come true and usher in a better life for both of them.

But what could she do now?

Faye was backing her into a corner.

If it weren't for Faye's own money, Iris' brother would never have been able to enroll at the college of music. He would never have even had a chance to pursue his

week?

I don't understand why the police didn't come to take me away, ' she thought.

Just as Iris thought about all this, her doorbell rang. Iris heard it, and she was terrified.

She was so frightened that she couldn't help but tremble.

Through the peephole, Iris saw four policemen standing at the door.

'The police are coming!' she thought.

Iris took a deep breath. She forgot about everything she saw online. This was clearly a more pressing matter now.

She opened the door.

"Are you Miss Mu?" the police asked.

"Yes, I am," Iris replied.

"We have evidence that says you uploaded some doctored photographs online. Those photos have ruined some people's reputation. You need to go with us to the station. Please come with us," one of the policemen said grimly.

'I knew this would happen, ' Iris thought.
