Chapter 1447 Punishment

"Miss Hong, I do remember that the Young Master had left his ring on his desk before he left, but it's not here anymore,"

Paul said accusingly as he narrowed his eyes at Faye.

"What do you think of me? You think I stole it?" Faye asked as she held a hand to her chest.

"Miss Hong, I hope you can forgive me for saying so. The two of us were the only people who entered this office after Young Master left. I wouldn't have stolen it myself because I value my job. You are the only questionable suspect here. Please cooperate with us, or I'll call the police," Paul said.

"Hey, what do you mean? Why would you even do that?" Faye asked worriedly.

But before Faye could even say any more, Paul was already on his phone, getting ready to contact the police. It took less than ten minutes for the police to arrive by the Mu's Group lobby.

Paul told the police about what had happened.

Faye was immediately taken away by the police after his testimony.

It was already odd enough for Faye to show up in Charles' office because she didn't have an appointment to even be allowed to enter the room. But not only was Faye caught in the middle of his office, but she was also snooping around at a time when he wasn't there.

She e

Linda.

Linda pursed her lips before she spoke again. "Hmm, isn't that a little too harsh? Maybe you could just punish her lightly this time. We still have that partnership with the Hong Clan, and if you defame her, it might ruin our relationship. We're still working on that movie, aren't we?"

"Oh, it doesn't matter, honey. Faye is just one of the descendants of the Hong Clan. She doesn't even have any decent acting skills to contribute to the film. I can find a better actress for the film. She's really not a worthwhile investment. Besides, I still haven't forgotten the way she looked down on you. This time we caught her doing something so disrespectful by shamefully entering my own office! If I don't punish her, when will she learn to respect the Mu's Group?" Charles asked as he narrowed his eyes at his wife.
