Chapter 1382 A Disturbing Voice

Linda couldn't help but feel as if she had been tricked by both Jessie and Rosy.

The last time Rosy went to the hospital, she was alone so Linda was a bit complacent.

"But we don't have evidence to prove that Rosy did it. She's so sly. She even left with us! We'll never get the evidence for that."

Charles just smiled and gently pinched Linda's face, with a doting expression on his face. "You silly girl. You don't have to kill someone by yourself!"

"Yes."

Linda nodded as she began to think about it carefully.

"But there's no conclusive evidence yet. We shouldn't act rashly. As long as she committed the crime, there has to be evidence of that. If Rosy really killed Lenny then she'll never get away with it..." Charles concluded.

"You know what? I went to see Mamie that day and she said that Devin was killed by Jessie," Linda said.

Charles snorted, with a grim expression on his face. He wondered if Rosy intended to kill all the members of the clan in orde

The Nalan Clan was powerful enough that there was always going to be one or two enemies lurking and waiting for their chance to attack. They all wanted the clan's property, money, and power.

"Honey, don't worry too much about this. We'll investigate this but we'll take our time. Rosy should be smart enough to stay out of your way in the future, or else, she'll meet her end."

Linda nodded obediently and rubbed her head against Charles' body. She always loved Charles' scent.

Charles' heart skipped a beat. He reached out to hug and kiss Linda when suddenly, they heard a voice.

"Mommy, Mommy..."
