Chapter 1311 A Reward Of One Million

Hearing Charles' words, Dragon felt relieved. His anxiety abated a little.

At the same time, Dragon felt guilty for losing Linda. As her bodyguard, he could not forgive himself for letting her disappear right in front of his eyes.

If only he insisted on following Linda earlier, those people would not have been able to kidnap her.

Charles was having a meeting at the company.

Linda was not home, so Charles missed her very much. He didn't want to deprive her of her freedom so he had given her a chance to have a week-long trip by herself.

He was affected by Linda's absence so he just focused on work to forget about his loneliness.

In the middle of a project meeting, he received a call from Dragon. He wouldn't usually take a call during an important meeting, but he had a bad feeling about this call. His intuition proved to be spot-on when Dragon told him about Linda's disappearance.

After hanging up, Charles noticed that his heart rate had increased considerably.

He could sense that Linda was in danger.

He tried to focus on solving the issue at hand but his restlessness got to him. He dialed Linda's number multiple times, but her cellphone was turned off.

Without thinking, Charles left the meeting and headed straight to his c

tated.

"Ha, of course we are not policemen. I can tell you that much. Someone offered to give a one-million reward in exchange for you. We decided to give it a try. What do you think? We were good at playing cops, right?" the man exclaimed.

The two fake policemen looked at each other and laughed loudly.

"Hmm, you are really like cops." Linda nodded in agreement while secretly touching the dragon ring with her finger. She was starting to lose consciousness. If she didn't take any action now, she would be in grave danger later.

Linda glanced at Bun and found that she was lying aside feebly. Bun was still conscious and aware of her surroundings, as she still had her eyes opened.

Bun opened her mouth to speak, but Linda shook her head. Then, she looked at the two men in the front and pointed at her dragon ring secretly.
