Chapter 1297 Women were Merely Playthings

Paul and Cindy were busy sending messages to each other. While Paul was deeply absorbed in their conversation, he felt a sudden pain at the back of his head.

Looking up from his phone, Paul knitted his brows. "Gosh! Young Master, why did you hit me?" It was Charles who playfully smacked Paul's head.

Brian who also heard Paul's question, came over and gave Paul a smack on his forehead this time. In a demanding tone, he asked, "Who are you sending messages to as you are so happy?"

Instead of replying, Paul laughed loudly.

The reactions of the two were really funny.

They had acted so childishly a moment ago.

Neither of them could have the chance to see their wives off.

"All right then. Stop laughing now. We have to go back to the company. The meeting is not yet finished,"

Charles got into his car with a cold expression.

Brian held the door of the car, not letting Charles leave.

"Charles, it has been a long time since we saw each other. Do you really want to go back to your company to continue your meeting? Please don't go. Let's go out together and have some fun. It is a really good chance that both your wife and mine are out. Don't you want to do something fun during this time?"

Charles gave Brian a glance and said calmly, "It seems like you want to be beaten agai

d to improve a lot, especially with his reflexes. With this realization, Brian made up his mind to spend more time on practice when he got back. Otherwise, he would not stand Charles' one move at all. That was too shameful!

He was not even sure whether he could defeat Bun now!

Later, Brian and Charles went boxing together. Both of them practiced to their hearts' content and by the end of the session, they were both exhausted. They sat down to breathe and cool themselves with a bottle of water.

"Charles, sometimes I really feel like I am living in a dream,"

Brian said wistfully while staring at the sky.

"Why?"

Charles asked while turning to him.

"That's my feeling. Ever since I met Bun, everything in my life changed. Before, I had thought that women were merely playthings that I can toy with. But now, my perspective has completely changed."
