Chapter 1130 Don't Worry About Me

Charles dialed Linda's number before he did anything else. "Sweetheart, I'm all right. Don't worry about me. I'm sorry to put you through all of this!"

Upon hearing Charles' gentle voice on the other end of the line, Linda squeezed her eyes tightly shut and breathed a sigh of relief. Her heart was beating fast when she answered the call, not knowing what to expect. However, now that she heard that Charles was safe, she had calmed down.

But her tears ran down her cheeks.

"Sweetheart, stay at home. I'll be back soon." When he finished talking, Charles hung up the phone.

Observing that Charles was speaking rationally, Dragon was relieved. There was still a bloodstain on his face from where he had been hit, but Charles seemed well at the moment.

"Young Master, are you all right?" Dragon still asked with great concern.

Charles moved his limbs and then gingerly touched his head. Then he replied to Dragon, "I just have a little headache. Nothing else is wrong with me.

How did you come here so soon?"

"I was fortunate to find you this quick..." Then Dragon told Charles how he tracked the two men here.

After that, he helped Charles to his feet and out of the room.

On the ground outside the room, the five kidnappers were lying there immobile. Dragon had controlled them.

He had beaten them so severely, and all they could do was groan in pain.

When they saw Charles come out of the room, they started to beg him for mercy, "Boss, please. We didn't know that you were so powerful. Please forgive us and let us go!"

Charles regarded them for a moment then turned to Dragon and said with a proud smile, "You're very strong. You defeated all five of them and have hurt them so badly!"

"You're joking, aren't you? I was worried about you, so I attacked them heavily. Please don't hold it against me, Young Master." Dragon misunderstood and thought Charles wasn't happy that he had injured the kidnappers so severely that Charles couldn't question them easily.

So he spoke in a low voice and seemed to ask for Charles' forgiveness.

Charles shook his hand and said, "It doesn't matter. I didn't mean anything. You came in at the right time, and you didn't do anything wrong."

"Young Master, how do you want to deal with these kidnappers?" When he realized that Charles didn't blame him, Dragon's eyes became cruel again as usual.

Hearing Dragon's words, Charles knitted

harles and Dragon glanced at each other, and neither of them tried to stop him.

"Hello, is that the police officer? We are kidnappers, and we have kidnapped someone. Please come and arrest us as soon as possible.

We're in the abandoned house near the Matilda Gas Station alongside the national highway. We... Hello? Hello?"

Chester suddenly stopped babbling on the phone and gaped at it wide-eyed and in shock.

Then he looked up at Charles with a bitter expression and said, "The police officer doesn't believe me. He told me not to make jokes with the police and then hung up."

When Charles heard what was going on, he couldn't control himself and burst out laughing.

Even Dragon smiled, although he always wore a serious expression on his face. It was understandable what the officer did. Which kidnapper would call the police and ask them to come and arrest them? How could the police officer believe what he said?

Dragon then called the police on his cell phone. He told the police what had happened and then hung up.

Then he said to Charles, "Boss, let me take you to the hospital to treat your wound.

I can tie them up together. The police will come soon and take them away."

Charles agreed with Dragon's advice. He was starting to feel a little faint. Charles could go to the police for a statement after the wound was treated.

So he nodded to Dragon.

Dragon took out the ropes that had been used to tie up Charles. Then he tied the five up together, getting them to sit back to back in a circle.

After they were all tied up securely, he took Charles to the hospital.
