Chapter 959 The Mystery Person

Rosy went downstairs without any hesitation. She didn't think that Linda would do anything that crossed the line inside the Nalan Clan's residence.

"Linda, what the hell are you doing here? What can I do for you?" Rosy asked.

"Oh, come on, don't play dumb. You know why I've come here," Linda said with a contemptuous laugh.

"What are you talking about? This is my house. You're not welcome here. Just get out of here," Rosy replied sternly.

"Is that how you're going to handle this? Just save your breath. I already know what you did," Linda continued laughing her heart out as she mocked Rosy.

"Whatever, I don't care. Yes, you're right. I did those things. But there's nothing you can do about it, because I was telling the truth," Rosy said.

She kept her voice steady and pretended to be calm.

The smug look on her face really pissed Linda off. 'Why is she always such a bitch?' Linda wondered, seething.

Then, she got up and walked up to Rosy.

Rosy was extremely pleased with herself when she saw Linda's angry face.

"Wow, Linda, are you mad at me? But there's nothing you can do. Just leave. I don't want to repeat myself." Rosy shrugged her shoulders.

The moment Rosy finished speaking, Linda gave her a slap in the face.

Rosy was stunned for a moment. Then, she covered her face and prepared to fight back.

She stretched out her hand to slap Linda's face.

But before she could do that, Linda gripped Rosy by the arm and slapped her face again.

The sharp sound of skin against skin broke the silence. Rosy was mortified. Most of her servants looked too scared to make a sound.

But the truth was, they could feel their joy rising when they saw Rosy's injured face. Rosy was a domineering person and often took her anger out on them whenever she had a bad day.

Today, it was Rosy's turn to be hit by someone. Her servants all secretly thought that was exactly what she deserved.

"Rosy, don't piss me off, or you will come to no good end!" After saying that, Linda pushed Rosy aside and left without so much as a look back.

Rosy stood rooted to the spot, shaking with rage.

"Linda, how dare you treat me like this?

Get back here right

hy Bettie had approached her of all people.

She wanted to find out who this woman really was and who was behind her.

There was something off about the whole situation but she couldn't place her finger on it.

'Is Rosy behind all this? But if Bettie takes orders from Rosy, why did she tell me all this?

Does Rosy want me to believe this story and act on it? Is she luring me into some trap? But that makes no sense. And Rosy isn't that smart anyway, ' she thought.

Sam suddenly spoke, breaking her train of thought.

"My Lady, Bettie said that she saw Rosy dumping Alma's body, right? Maybe Rosy tried to buy her silence with 50, 000 dollars," he said.

That did make sense. But Linda still had some unanswered questions.

She started to think back to what had happened and realized that Bettie's eyes hadn't been focusing when she was describing her story in detail. Linda had learned psychology, so she knew that this was a sign that Bettie wasn't telling the truth. But on the other hand, her words had seemed very touching and honest.

It didn't feel like she had been making it all up.

Of course, there was another explanation. It could be that Rosy did kill Alma, but someone else had told Bettie to expose it to Linda.

This mystery person had manipulated everything.

But who could the mystery person be?

Had Rosy offended someone?

But offending people was not an uncommon thing for Rosy.

'Is it Becker?' Linda wondered.
