Chapter 558 A Love Song

"Thank you very much, Anna," said Brian.

"You're welcome. Bun is my good friend, so I'll surely do this even if you haven't mentioned it,"

Anna said with a smile on her face.

So, it seemed Bun and Brian were planning to have a child. They might be happier after they had a baby. But Anna was still single, without any intention of finding a boyfriend, getting married or having children. She just wanted to live her whole life alone.

While they were talking, Linda and Charles were still singing the love song. When the two had first begun singing, they'd taken everyone in the room by surprise. No one had expected Linda and Charles to be so good at singing. They were better than some of the singers who were actually famous.

But of course, nowadays, many singers had effects used in their recordings to make their voice sound better than it was.

After all, most of them were actually famous actors who'd decided to start singing, too.

"Bun, we sang together as you said. Now it's your turn," Linda said with a smile, looking at Bun leaning against Brain's chest. Bun had been shy enough when Brian had kissed her earlier. There was no way she could sing in front of so many people.

"My Lady, I'm not good at singing," she said immediately, waving her hand. She'd always thought that she'd an unpleasant voice. She was also worried that she would sing out of tune, so she didn't dare to sing in front of all these people.

"We came here together to have fun today, so everyone should sing. Besides, we're singing karaoke just to enjoy ourselves and have a good time. It's not a competition, and you don't have to impress anyone," Linda said, trying to persuade her. But Bun was still hesitant.

She looked at Linda and said,"My Lady, I'm afraid that my singing will startle you."

Linda was amused by Bun's words. Although Bun looked strong, she was too timid to even sing in front of a small crowd.

So she said,"I don't think so. Why don't you come up here and try? Don't you want to sing a love song along with Brian? Today, all the couples here have to sing together."

Linda looked tow

ng cards. One of the nine cards will be the joker. The one who gets the joker will choose a number, and the person who has gotten the card with that number has to choose between truth and dare."

Although Cindy didn't fully understand the game, she thought that it sounded interesting, so she nodded. After all, just singing was beginning to bore her. It might be fun to play a game in the karaoke club.

Linda also nodded and took Charles's hand. "Okay, we'll join."

Charles didn't want to disappoint Linda or the others today, so he agreed to play the game too.

They gathered around the table and asked the waiter to bring them several bottles of wine.

Although Linda wasn't a good drinker, she was willing to drink today since she was with her friends and having such a good time.

Out of the nine of them, Brian was the only one who was familiar with the game. Bun realized that he'd probably played it often before, and she glared at him.

Knowing the reason behind her glare, Brian felt a bit embarrassed and guilty. He'd indeed led a befuddled life in the past, but now he was trying his best to be a good husband and treat Bun well.

"Well, I'm not playing. Enjoy yourselves," said Paul.

He'd never liked playing such childish games, so he refused outright.

"What? You don't want to play with us? Well, if you're not joining, then I don't want to play either," said Cindy, annoyed.
