Chapter 473 Are You Alright

"What do you think? How should I punish a very... very... bad woman?" said Charles.

In the presidential suite

Leo had been waiting outside the door since he was asked to leave, and then he went straight into the room right after Linda had left.

He was panicky and anxious while he was waiting outside the room. He regretted failing to stop Sophia from doing stupid things.

"Are you all right? What did she tell you, Sophia?" Leo asked Sophia right after he set foot in the room.

"Nothing important, " answered Sophia. She was sitting on the chair, quiet but sullen. Her face was a shade of corpse-like pale, and she seemed to be lost in thought.

'Was it wrong to fall in love with Charles?

It wasn't, was it?'

Sophia asked herself over and over again. She was wondering whether she should give up, or not.

"Stop thinking about it. Let's put everything behind us. Young Master Mu and Lady Linda aren't going to do anything to you. Are they?"

Asked Leo. He was thankful that they hadn't notice the glass of water on the table. Leo had noticed it when he had gone into the room the first time. Since there was still water inside the glass and it was still where it originally was, he knew that no one had found out about it.

"Well, I don't care if they find out about what I was up to. What could they do to me?" Sophia snorted.

"Okay, okay. Keep your temper under control. You're the one who did wrong this time, so stop acting so innocent. Have some rest now, " Leo told Sophia.

"Stop telling me what to do. Just go away, and leave me alone, " Sophia responded angrily. Sophia was supposed to sleep in this presidential suite with Charles, especially if everything had gone according to plan. Even though that wasn't happening, she still wanted to sleep here because it would somehow comfort her.

She was very upset at Leo because he wasn't on her side. He thought that what she had wanted to do was wrong. She wanted to drink something cold to calm herself down, so she reflexively reached for the glass of water on the bedside table and picked it up without thinking before drinking it all up.

"Sophia... you've..." Leo was shocked by what Sophia had done.

"What? What's wrong?" Sophia wondered.

Leo had wanted to stop Sophia, but it was too late.

Then, Sophia had realized that she drank the glass of water that she was supposed to have give

ho was a doctor. The pills were prescription-only, and it was a drug that was impossible to get from just any ordinary pharmacy.

Leo knew well that sending her to the hospital wouldn't be a good idea, but he didn't know what to do at this point. Sophia could hardly sit on the floor, so she lay herself down. The floor was dirty, but cold. The minute Sophia lay down, she started to flatten her body against it, trying to absorb the cold. Leo couldn't stand to watch her squirming on the floor any more, so he tried to get her up.

That was when he felt how hot Sophia's whole body was.

It seemed that the pills were stronger than he thought, and Sophia was suffering a lot.

After Leo had helped Sophia sit on the bed, he said, "If you really don't want to go to the hospital, I can go to the pharmacy to see if they have anything to counter the symptoms, or I can go and buy some ice bags for you..."

Before Leo finished his words, Sophia had already pushed him to the bed and got on top of him. "I feel really terrible. I really can't stand it any more. You like me, don't you?"

"Sophia, don't do this. You'll regret it..." Leo loved Sophia very much, but he didn't want to take advantage of her in this kind of situation.

He was Sophia's agent, and they weren't in a romantic relationship, only professional.

He knew well that Sophia didn't like him at all...

Perhaps, she had liked him before, but she had never fallen in love with him. Leo understood that she just liked the way he adored her, and that was it. He knew he could never give her whatever she wanted.
