Chapter 213 Linda's Idea

When Richard Nalan arrived with his walking stick, Linda was eating the medicinal porridge and talking to Anna. "Linda, is it true? The nurse told me that you asked her to help you order takeout."

Lord Nalan asked Linda as he entered the room.

Though he was actually relieved about it. He was worried that Linda wouldn't get over what happened and do something rash like commit suicide. He had no idea how to stop Linda from ending her life once she had lost her will to live.

"Just be patient. You can't take your revenge if you can't get better." Richard comforted Linda with an affectionate smile.

"My Lord, let me find you a chair, so you can rest your legs." One of Richard's men moved a nearby chair beside Linda's bed.

He was a man in his 30's named Nelson Li. Nelson was one of the orphans adopted by Richard Nalan. He graduated from a business school in the United States. Since he returned to China at the age of 27, he had been assisting Richard as his attendant. As a steward of the Nalan Clan, he was an organized and decisive man who always planned ahead.

Though he wasn't as handsome as Brian Ho or Charles Mu, he was good-looking enough to attract people's attention when he walked by.

"Fine." Richard answered him with a slight nod.

Nelson helped Richard sit down before standing behind him without another word.

"What has Amy Qi been doing lately?" Linda asked as she took small sips of her porridge.

"My Lady, she is under our surveillance. Apparently, she is coming back home ahead of schedule." Nelson replied honestly.

"Coming back so soon? I thought she still had two years left before she could get her diploma.

Nelson's lips curled into a small smile as he answered, "She

about that woman, so I secretly kept another copy of her medical record in my personal computer. I also uploaded it online for good measure. They had most likely hacked into my computer and tampered with the information by now."

"That won't be a problem. Just tell us which NSD server you uploaded it to. We can also send someone to sneak back to the Mu Clan's private hospital to retrieve the original copy from your personal computer." Nelson added with a comforting smile.

Richard touched his beard as he turned to his granddaughter, "Linda, leave this to Nelson. Since you want to settle this on your own, I will do whatever I can to help you. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything."

"I will."

Linda simply nodded in response. She didn't say much more in terms of gratitude, as there was no need when it came to family. She knew her grandfather was doing her a great favor, and she would find a way to thank him someday.

"My Lady, there's one more thing. Please don't eat anything with soy sauce again. Or the medicinal porridge won't be able to heal you as it's supposed to. You don't want to ruin you face, do you?"
