Chapter 441 - 441 The Night Apart

"You are not useless. There are things that only you can do for Kitsune that others can't, and you know for a fact that we would keep you apart. I know what happened, and that is why I came to you. I am, after all, the King. She is the one that is above all others. Leo, you are her chosen partner and do not panic. You can talk to her through the telepathic mind link." Cedric bent down and looked at Leo as he hit the ground with his fist. 

Leo hit the ground a few times before he calmed down. "What exactly happened to Kitty?" Leo looked at Cedric, who was at eye level.  ​​

"She almost broke a seal. It seems that Kitty is a little too eager to give up the water element." Cedric sighs, shaking his head. "Kitty is the one that sent me to you."

Leo finally calmed down. "I will not go to her, but now that I have permission, I will contact her." He got up and went back to his bedroom, slamming the door in frustration. ~Kitsune, I felt the need to get to you. Are you sure that you are alright? I am stricken with the need to come to you.~ 

~Erebus, I promise you that I got what I needed. I think that I will have to make you something that can teleport you to my location. That way, you do not need to worry as much. Would you like that, Darling?~ Kitty looked up at Ketan with cloudy eyes. 

Ketan glared down at Kitty and tried to calm his mind that was running through a thousand thoughts. "You are a fool, and I will also go back to Leo. You better watch her, Mother or else I lose my shit." 

"Yeah, yeah, you know that such threats do not work on me. There is really nothing that you can do to me." Yuki waved Ketan away and sat next to Kitty. She laid down and hugged Kitty. "Your eyes are unfocused still." 

Hearing Kitty's voice takes the angry edge off. Sighing, he closes his eyes. ~I would like that very much. I do not like feeling like I should be going to you and not being able to do just that. Will you be okay? I know that you said that everything will be okay, but I am still concerned.~ Leo didn't flinch when Ketan appeared next to him. "Hello, Ketan." 

"Leo." Ketan sat on a chair that was in the room and watched Leo. "Since I am unable to sleep, and I can't watch the one I usually watch. I will watch you. I do not trust that you will not take off. You are, after all, the spouse of the spontaneous one." 

~Darling, I will make it for you, but know that there will be a fail-safe in case I do not want you to show up where I am. You may be immortal now, but that does not mean that you will not feel pain. If I am in a place that would put you in harm's way, IU will block you. I hope that you understand.~ Kitty relaxed and opened her eyes and allowed them to focus on Yuki. "Mother, I am sorry that you had to do that." 

"Pffft, it is not the first time, and it will not be the last time. I know just what goes on with you. I also know that you need me to do that to you. There is nothing more satisfying than finding the rightful rune owner. It is too bad that you needed to absorb them in the first place. That is, after all, what brought you into dangerous waters. Finish the conversation with Leo, then I will help you sleep." Yuki hugs Kitty and runs her hand through Kitty's hair.

Chuckling, Leo cracked his eyes open. "Thank you for helping her. I know what it is like. Being as calm as you are, means that everything will be okay, and we can continue with the plan that I have set into motion." He watches Ketan nod his head. ~Now that I know that you will do that for me, I am most gracious. I will accept your gracious gift. We should both get some sleep, or else we will look tired in the morning. That is not a look that we should have for a commercial.~

Leo hummed in response. ~Goodnight, Sweetheart. I look forward to seeing you in a wedding dress tomorrow.~ Leo opened his eyes. "Ketan, put me to sleep before I hop on a plane to hunt her down." 

"No problem." Ketan got up and looked into Leo's eyes. "Sleep." He watched as Leo fought but lost the battle. "There is so much that you need to learn about this world." Ketan sits back down and picks up the book that was set to the side. 

Kitty nodded her head at Yuki. "It is time. I need to sleep, Mother. Will you please help me so that I can get the rest that I need?" 

Yuki kissed Kitty on the cheeks. "Of course, Dear. Sleep, and I will be here in the morning." She held Kitty while humming a calm sleeping song. Once she knew Kitty was asleep, she opened her eyes, "I will guess you against everyone else." 

The following day Leo wakes up and stretches. "I don't think that I have ever slept that good. Well, I should say naturally slept that well. How's the books?" 

"Actually quite fascinating. I have never had the honour of reading the hunter books. So, since I had the whole night, I partook in your books. There are, of course, some facts that I found hilarious and ridiculous. Like a vampire can't eat human food. Pfffft, that is a load of shit. I can eat all the human food I want. I provide a little substance and will do in the meantime if no blood is available. Blood, of course, is the best substance, but it does not have to be a human's blood. Different animals are rather exotic. Take, for instance, carnivores. They have thick blood and tastes the best. Of course, some vampires only prey on humans. The fear that they release is something that is a rare sweet treat. Don't even get me started on the garlic theory. I love me some garlic toast, even better with melted cheese."

Leo let out a hearty laugh. "I am sure that your family is the one that created the rumours. I liked the garlic one. When humans first found out, there was a surplus sale in garlic, or at least that is what the records showed. I'm going to have a shower and get into the suit that was made for me." He got up and walked to the shower. 

"I will leave you to getting ready. You and the crew will be at the wedding hall, and we vampires will bring the girls. To you guys." Ketan got up and left the room. He came into the hallways and saw Luke.

Kitty stirred in Yuki's arms and stretched her body out. "Good morning, Mother." 

"Good Morning, Dear. I am glad that you got so much sleep. I was worried that I might have to put you back to sleep. What do you think about us ladies getting dressed in the hotel and dragging Ketan and Cedric here to teleport us?" Yuki slipped out of bed, stretching like a cat. 

"I think that is a good idea, but Ketan is not allowed to see Brielle. I will take her to the house with me. I would prefer if Father did not see you until it was time, but there is not much that I can do about that." Kitty looks up at Yuki, smiling. "I think I am more excited even though this is just a commercial." 

"Of course! You should be excited. It may not be the day that you planned and the dress that you wanted to wear for the commercial, but at least you are having a mock wedding with the love of your life." Yuki touched Kitty's cheek and looked into her eyes. "Now go get the fine ȧss into the tub and soak." Yuki walked to the bathroom to run the bath for her. 

Getting up, Kitty stretches then walks to the bathroom. She saw the bubbles in the tub and sighed in appreciation. "Thank you, Mother. If the girls come, just let me know. We should all have a glass of champagne to celebrate like this is real."
