"I will stay here overnight as well. I want the transition to be smooth but I will call it a night soon as I am quite tired. You are still young and can stay up later than us old people. I do worry that you won't spend enough time with your fiance though." Asurlon glared at Leo.

Berry watched the exchange. "I remember you used to give Sandra that same look. You take after your workaholic mother. I want to meet your fiance as well but it is way too late but do bring her here soon. I do not want to wait a long time. I will take my leave and see you in the meeting in the morning." Berry left the office.

Leo brushed off the glare and started typing at the computer. "I may not be able to go home but that doesn't mean I am not missing her. She is strong and I trust her. As I said I am waiting for the baby to be born to bring back here."

Asurlon lets out a deep sigh. "Alright, I will let you do as you please. I want that baby to be born safely but with her being the advocate you will need her to come here sooner rather than later."

Leo lets out another sigh. "I know, please go get some rest and I will rest at the desk after I complete all the paperwork for this meeting." Leo quickly types up the reports for the meeting then finishes the hunt lists in the system. 'I think I will give everyone a day off. So that I can review the system and make the necessary updates so that this will not happen again.'

Asurlon shook his head, then went to the bedroom and climbed into the bed. 'If I could I would let her know but it is not my place to interfere.'

Leo sat there at his desk and didn't think about anything else. Sometime during the night he leaned back in his chair and fell asleep.

In the morning Kitty woke up and glared at the door where Ketan was standing in front of. "Just because you are glaring at me will not change the fact that you need someone to keep their eyes on you at all times or else you will pull another disappearing act. Leo asked me to guard you and you know that I will obey his command."

Kitty sighs, "It's fine I guess. Did you talk to Sylvie?" she saw a few books on the floor beside Ketan.

"No, she was not in the right state of mind to be chatting. It is easy for us to give small amounts of our blood but just how much did you drink? It didn't seem like a lot to me." Ketan could see that the blood she drank had already dissolved into her and he could no longer tell where in her bloodstream it went.

"Don't bother trying to read it anymore. The blood is gone. I can tell you are curious but you can't give me your blood. Choose a partner and you could. Just because it doesn't look like I took a lot doesn't mean that I didn't. I can't explain more than that. Cindy, Carlos, and Luke are on their way back today. They will be here in a few hours." Kitty sits up and walks to the bathroom. "I will not leave the property this time can I trouble you to make me some waffles? I will be down in a moment."

"You better not leave or else Leo may kill me. I would like to live a satisfying long life." Ketan turned and left the room reluctantly to go prepare breakfast.

Kitty got out of bed and went to the shower. She stood under the running water and touched her belly to feel the baby kick. She lets out the breath that she had been holding. 'At least I know that the baby is not affected by the blood that is used to control the seals. I hope that Sylvie is okay and that her partner is doing alright. I can only imagine the immense hunger that she felt after giving me her blood. Now that I am learning my family's backgrounds I am slowly beginning to be able to work through why I am the way I am. It is explained very deeply in one of my books. So hopefully I can start to set the books up soon and I do think that I should be able to get them all set up within the next few days. I am sure that John is close to finishing. I also need to make that tea for Asurlon.' Kitty steps out of the shower and dries herself off. She got dressed in a royal blue tank top and black yoga pants. Kitty went down the stairs and went into the dining room.

Ketan brought the waffles to the table and then sat down across from Kitty watching as she sat down. "If I didn't know that you were a hybrid I would ask what you really are. I do not think that it is normal for a being to be able to drink a vampire's blood other than another royal vampire."

"Are you calling me abnormal, Ahriman?" Kitty took a bite of the waffle. "Thank you for cooking me breakfast. There is a lot that is unknown with being a hybrid but I am sure that it will all come to light eventually. I know for one fact I will be hitting my books to try and figure this out. I am not used to not knowing what is going on. I do however remember the day my powers got sealed away. I will explain when everyone is here rather than having to tell the story multiple times. So you will have to wait until everyone comes back tonight. If Leo doesn't come home I will video call him so that he doesn't miss this information."

"I will await your explanation tonight then as much as it kills me to wait I can understand why you do not want to tell the story multiple times." Ketan sighs and looks at the door. Carlos opens the front door without knocking and smells the air. 'Waffles? I suspect that Kitty asked for it again.
