Chapter 124 124 Before the Manor

Edgar smiled, "Sir you are truly blessed. I am happy that you have found your other half. I will happily help you with anything you would need now and in the future as well."

"It is already more than enough that you are here with me. I am grateful that you stuck around after my parents passed away. I know that you feel responsible for their passing but there is nothing you could've been done. Let's get to my manor as soon as we land and wait for Will and Brielle." Leo sits back and closes his eyes.

"Yes, Sir. I will let you relax now then." Edgar sat next to Leo and munched on his burger. The flight wasn't a long one. When they landed Edgar turned to Cedric, "I will go get the car, Sir. Please wait in the waiting room for me and I will get back here as soon as possible."

Leo sat in the VIP waiting room and opened his phone and started flipping through the work documents. 'There seems to be an increase of hunts that weren't scheduled to happen. I wonder if some of them went rogue? That is unlikely. There is no way that this many have gone awry. I will have to look into this more.'

Edgar came back and looked at Leo, "Sir the car is now ready," he bowed and leads him to the car that was sitting in front of the doors. Once Leo was inside he closes the door and sits up in the front in the driver's seat. "It will take us about an hour until we will reach the manor. That will give us about thirty minutes until seven in the evening."

"That is perfect timing then I will take this time to call my fiance." Leo fiddles with his phone and the partitioner slowly slides up. Leo quickly calls Kitty.

Kitty wakes up after only thirty minutes of sleep. She got up and walked across the hallway into the nursery. She looks around the room and she sits on the floor beside where she is going to be sketching the drawing. She traces over the light pencil marks on the wall. 'My powers are are a little hard for me to handle right now. I just need to relax and wait for Leo to call me. I need to save Ketan, he is connected to the vampires that I know well and it would be a great loss to lose even just one of them.' Kitty's phone goes off and she answers the call. "Darling."

"You sound a bit weak. Are you feeling alright?" Leo sits up straight and then changes the call to a video call.

Kitty picks up the video call, "I'm just weak because of everything hitting me in my state. This is a normal reaction. I talked to Nettie and Tobias and they are both coming over to chat with me soon. I spoke to them on the phone. They are concerned about my powers. Since I lost my mentor and since I am a crossbreed it is a bit troublesome. I am lucky that I am not the one to be uniting the werewolves to the foxes. I would cause more problems. "Okay, you found out enough, my love. I will take care of things here but I still need your help with Ketan. I know that you are concerned about him. I will make sure that you get to chat with him on the phone that way he comes to our place. I do not want to unintentionally bring harm to someone you know." "Anna and Samuel set it all up while we in the pool earlier today. They did it as a gift for the two of us and John helped the couple move the boxes around. I was really impressed but they left everything in the crib so that you could place everything where you would like it to go. I would say you could do that but you look like you should be in bed. Please go back to the bedroom." Leo feels the car stops he looks at his manor. 'This is where our relationship started and now that I have her back I do not mind going inside. Kitty stands up and looks in the crib. 'Everything that I left there really is still there. That is awesome. Once I feel a little better I will put that away and finish setting up the room as to how I envisioned it.' Kitty smiles sweetly, "Darling, you kept me company for long enough you should go and see if the others have arrived early and if they have you should go and see him right away."

"I will do as you suggest. I think I see the transport truck anyways," Leo steps out of the car and then walks over the truck and gives the door quick short knocks.

Will opens the door and sees Kitty on the video call. "Hey Kitty, I am glad that you could join us even though it is through a phone."

Kitty smiles weakly, "it is good to see you as well Will. I want to talk to the one in Leo's basement."
