Chapter 394 - 394 Charlette is Happy

Charlette's little tears stopped flowing and she grabbed onto Kitty's hand. 

Leo laid down next to Charlette and Kitty, "our daughter missed us. I think that it will be hard to be away form more than a day. She is so small and precious. Do you think that she will grow fast or will she progress like a normal baby?" 

"Based on what I know she will advance a little quicker but that does not mean she will be talking full sentences-tomorrow. I am eager for her to progress and I know that you are as well. We will just have to see how things go." Kitty touched Charlette's head with her other hand. "I am sorry that I was not the one that fed you throughout the night." 

Leo pulled out his phone and started checking his emails. He looked down at Charlette as she laid there staring up at Leo as if she was waiting for his attention. Leo gave Charlette his finger to hold onto.

Charlette grabbed onto the finger and squealed happily kicking her feet.

"She has a good grip. Do you have to go to the office today? I know that you already missed most of the day." Kitty was looking at Charlette and looked at Leo.

Leo felt the two staring at him and he placed the phone down. "For only an hour. Brielle and Will need their new jobs explained as well as Thompson. Once that is done I will come home and I also need to protect Thompson's family." He touched Kitty's cheek and leaned over and kissed her then leaned down and kissed Charlette's forehead.

"Ah, yes that is very important. I understand. We will be having a barbecue tonight. Come home as soon as you can, please." Kitty looked at Charlette and started to feed her and picked her up after she was done. She patted Charlette on her back while making sure that she was supported until a burp was heard. "One thing is for sure and that is that Charlette eats well." 

"Our daughter will become a force to be reckoned with. What would you like to wear today? I will pull something to wear for you so that we can go and eat lunch together. Then I will go to the office to get everything set up. I do not want that man to escape. I will not allow it to happen. His trial is set for Monday. It would be sooner but there are too many people out for the assignments after the takeover and everyone is supposed to report back on Monday. Since today is Tuesday we have six more days until prosecution. I just pray it goes well." Leo got off the bed and started to get dressed. 

"For clothing let's go with something simple. I will wear a summer-like dress. I do not know how much I will need to model today. Every day is an adventure with this crew. There is never an empty moment and I never f.u.c.k.i.n.g know what type of trick they are going to pull. Ricardo is up to something in the costume room and I know that if Liz does not stop him then they will go even more over budget. That is unless the company asked him to continue to make more and more outfits." Kitty moved to the edge of bed sitting down while holding Charlette.

Charlette cooed and happily moved in Kitty's arms. Not knowing what was going on. She looked up at the soothing voice happily gurgling and blowing some bubbles.

Kitty looked down at Charlette and wiped her face off. "Look at you, Little Sunshine. You are getting so big. I look forward to you growing even bigger." 

Leo smiled before snapping a picture with his phone. He snapped it shut and slipped it into his pocket and picked out a simple lavender dress. He laid it next to Kitty and reached out. He took Charlette from Kitty so that she could get changed. "Hey, Sweetie. I know that you want mama but papa wants to spend time with you as well." Leo brought his face close to her.

Charlette reached out her little hand and pulled on Leo's hair. She squealed and gurgled but did not cry.

Kitty got up and changed into the clothes that Loe picked out for her. She threw what she wore to bed in the trash. The blood on her dress was heavy and she did not want to think about how much damage she did. "Does Sylvie and Emerson know that you want to move Thompson's family there?" She pulled on the new dress and did a little spin.

"Not yet. I had asked Ketan to ask but you know how hectic things got." Leo smiled at the gurgling little girl. 

~Slyvie, I am not sure if Ketan mentioned this yet but is it possible to bring two humans to your hideaway?~ Kitty sat on the bed and put on some socks and then grabbed onto Leo's hand and dragged him to the door. 

~No, he did not but if you are asking it must be important. What are the details?~ Sylvie sighed and then asked, ~How are the two of you doing? I know that it is not easy to deal with everything.~

~It is rather simple but at the same time worrisome. You know how I have Valdis locked up... right? Well my new secretary was an unintentional lackey and now he is trying to redeem himself. I accepted him back into the ranks as he was tricked. If somehow Valdis escapes his family is in danger. For the first bit they were locked up in a place in Belize but I need all the hunters I trust watching that asshole.~ Leo carried Charlette to the door after Kitty was dressed. 

~I do not mind a few humans here and with that type of logic, I would not be able to refuse. You and Kitty always do what you can to help others. How many will come and is there anything else I need to know?~ Sylvie sighed out loud.
