Chapter 392 - 392 The Truth Was Unexpected

"It was at that point that the body of the water bearer turned to dust. He was a dangerous person and I was glad that he was gone. I had a bad feeling about this but I was not certain of anything. I could not go and blame him for everything. It was from that point on, that we had to place the seals on your body. Sylvie discovered us that evening and offered to help when she saw your body glowing two colours. She as you know was not able to take the burden from you." Yuki sighed, "I just wish that it was not her that had found us. It took us two years to figure out how to create the seals and block your magic. The worst part was that you were so gentle throughout the whole ideal. If I had not seen you kill him then I would not have believed it." 

"I do agree with Yuki. You were a gentle girl and that it would've been unheard of for you to kill someone of your kind or at least that is what we thought." Rex looked at Kitty and sighed, "Linda held me at knifepoint when I brought you home. She was furious. If you didn't intervene she would've killed me. I deserved it after what happened to you but stopped her before she could start."

"I think a bit of that has come back to me. Didn't I say something along the lines of Mama, I am okay. It had to be done as Demetrius had turned to the dark side. Besides, it was more fun to hunt a live moving target that was not a small animal?" Kitty shook her head slightly. "I'm making myself sound evil."

"You did say that. Linda froze and that was when we realized that you were not a simple child at all but that never actually bothered us. I loved you as much as I loved my daughter. I infiltrated the association to try and get inside information to help with the cause but then something happened. I felt Linda and Charles pass from this world. I was so heartbroken I saw you take over so I decided to stay at the association to give you all the help that I could. I know that I was not there when you needed me but I did get you valuable information." Rex looked at Kitty and then at the entranceway.

"You did and with that information, I was able to conclude that there was an evil identity in the association and that was why my parents passed away and then later it was Leo's parents that passed away. I decided that whomever was behind this was going to pay and now that we have answers I want to make sure that he suffers a slow agonizing death. I will not forgive that one that was the reason that my family passed away." Kitty slowly sat up and leaned against the headboard. She flinched from the pain. 

"Not to change the subject but Ketan decorated this area, didn't he?" Yuki looked around the cave and saw certain things that were not completely Kitty's taste. 

"Ketan was. I was busy with so many other things that I asked him to make this habitual. I am going to bring Leo here by teleportation. I do not want him to know the walking way here. It is not something that he needs to know at this time." Kitty closed her eyes and checked the barrier. 

Ketan walked through the barrier and came to the entrance of the cave he stopped before entering. "Kitsune, you must have a death wish." 

"I do not. You are the one that almost died by my hand, Ahriman." Kitty's eyes gleamed in delight.

"Yeah, yeah. If you are this witty then you are doing a lot better than I expected, my goddess." Ketan bowed to her. "I know that this is going to get some getting used to but I wanted to report that I took a little blood as Brielle decided that I did not look good so she sliced down her arm. I was so mad but I am glad at that point that I am a vampire and that was how I was able to stop that bleeding and it was delicious. Rex, I heard that you were her teacher and that you are a little overprotective of your students. I want your permission before it is too late." 

Rex looks at Ketan speechless and then clues in what he was saying, "I will allow it only if that is what she chooses for herself besides I can't really fight a guardian of Kitten's but so help me, goddess, if you so much as make her cry I will make your life a living hell." 

"Ketan, I am sure that the two fo you will be happy. Thank you for saving me last night. I am sorry that I went a little crazy on you. I did not mean to drag you further into this than you already were but life does not go as it should. I trust you to keep me safe and I want you to make sure that Leo does not find this place while walking in the woods." Kitty looked at the wall sighing. "Do I need to stay here for the day or will I be able to go home to my Darling and Sunshine. I miss them already." 

Rex looks at Yuki and Yuki looks at Rex. The two think for a moment before Yuki finally makes the call, "I think that it is okay for you to go back. I know that you will not harm anyone and your powers are under control but you are going to let Ketan take you to the bedroom door." 

"I agree with Amaris on this point. You already almost died. I will not have you using your magic to take you back." Rex looks a bit afraid and sighs.
