Chapter 348 - 348 Photoshoot (2)

Michelle knocked on the door and entered. "I am here to touch up your makeup. So sorry for the surprise. She was just so adorable. I asked Cindy for her clothing size and she brought me one of her outfits. The one she brought me was perfect for the photoshoot but I created some to go along with your outfits today. I knew that you would not mind and Liz wanted a child model for the pictures. It is too bad the original people backed out at the last minute."

"I do mind but the surprise on my face was so genuine. Now that I know I really don't mind. So when you were done with me you styled Tiana's hair? She turned out to be adorable so I forgive you. I am glad that she enjoyed herself." Kitty placed the lollipop down on the dressing table. 

"I'm sorry." Michelle clapped her hands together and bowed. "I did not think that you wouldn't approve."

"It is not that I don't approve but that I was not informed beforehand. I do not exactly like surprises like this." Kitty let out the breath that she is holding and smiled. "Thank you though. She was very happy and adorable." Kitty smiled softly and closed her eyes. 

Michelle touched up Kitty's makeup and changed the color slightly. "I am happy that you forgive me. I was worried that you would not like me after this. I know how important your family is to you." 

Janet worked on Kitty's hair as she watched the makeup being put on Kitty. "You have always been stunning but you should think about continuing. I know that you will have a lot going on but I get the feeling you will retire soon."

"That is the plan. There is too much unknown right now and it would not be right for me to keep modeling and doing commercial work. My baby needs me. I have another job that I must complete. If it is permitted I might do the occasional shoot. I want to spend time with my family and it is time for me to take my rightful place. I honestly have had a lot of time doing what I wanted but as things start to shift I have to settle down."

"It's already that time? I thought that you would be sticking close to everything and not take your powers back right away. Are you in any danger?" Janet finished fixing Kitty's hair and looked at her.

Michelle finished Kitty's makeup. "I am also surprised that you have unlocked some seals. I thought that you would be a few years before that happened. As long as you are okay I will not worry about it but if you are suffering then I will be concerned." 

"Three and all at once. I lost control." Kitty got up after her makeup was done and left the trailer on her own. She walked to the garden and walked around aimlessly. 

Liz took a camera and shot a few shots. 'She is always focused on work but her thoughts right now are elsewhere. Her mind is wandering and I wonder where her thoughts are at? She seems listless but this is good for this outfit, it wasn't in the planning stages.' Liz snapped pictures as Kitty walked around the garden. 

Kitty didn't notice Liz following her as she thought about everything. She got to the edge of the forest and leaned against the tree and looked sad before touching the baby bump. She looked at the camera and smiled. 

Liz snapped the last picture, "Is everything okay Katherine?" 

Kitty snapped out of it and smiled, "everything is right as rain. I was just thinking about something should we redo the pictures or would you like me to change?" 

"These are so stunning it would be a shame to retake them. I had wanted you to take something like this. You look forlorn, lost, confused, in deep thought, listless, and then you smiled sadly at the end... it was magnificent. You are my best model and I am glad that I scouted you when I did. For the next shot, I was thinking that you and your daughter could be laying on a blanket together maybe a picnic?" Liz looked at Kitty while smiling sweetly.  

"Next time you include a family member ask me. You gave me a fright when Tiana raced onto the set. I thought that she would ruin the shot but the pictures kept being taken. Thank goodness you have a soft spot for children." Kitty smiled back, "I think that those pictures would be lovely."

"Sorry, Kitty. I knew that you would not have an issue with it but I worried that you would be unhappy with my choice. I really did have another selected but the boy came down with a "flu"." Liz emphasized the word flu and shook her head. "That is how I got the idea of using Tiana." 

"Do not fret I forgive you. You are giving my daughter a fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity. So I will not fight you. I pray that you understand that she can't enter the showbiz world at this time. I do not want her to have her mind shrouded in the hostility that comes with becoming a model." Kitty patted Liz on the shoulder. 

"Do not worry I was only going to use her for this shoot. I do not want you to worry about your family members. It is not easy to deal with the stress and pressure that comes with the job. Honestly, you are beautiful and when I hear people saying that you are fake or have had surgery done I get mad but I have to stay impartial while on the site. When I am asked about you from reporters I let them know that you are a natural beauty that I would hate to lose." Liz turned around. "ALRIGHT WE ARE DOING PICNIC IN TWENTY MINUTES!" 

Kitty walked back to her trailer and changed into a retro checker styled dress. She looked down at the dress and looked into the mirror. "My this is chic. I like that style that was chosen." 

Michelle took off Kitty's makeup and started to apply a whole different style. "It is very chic, deary. When I saw this pattern I thought 'oh damn, Katherine is going to have a fit.' I am glad that you love it."
