Chapter 323 - 323 Dinner With Everyone (3)

"Sorry, I was supposed to still be pregnant and we are going to do a photoshoot for a new maternity clothing line. I am excited to see what kind of outfits that were created. They know that I am no longer pregnant and that will not be a problem. I will wrap it up as fast as possible." Kitty smiled and looked at everyone.

"You do not need to apologize for your job. You have been doing that for years now. There is no issue with you doing the job that you love. I was shocked when you told me that you auditioned to be a model and then I realized that it was overseas and that you were using an alias. If it wasn't for the fact that I was here I would've strangled you but that was not the case and it brought less attention to you honestly it was a good idea. No supernatural can sit in the limelight for that long and not get noticed." Cindy sighed and looked at Kitty.

"I remember you telling me about that job and I asked you if you were crazy." Scarlet started laughing. 

Sylvie looked at Kitty and shook her head, "I supported Kitty in doing this job as I thought that it would be better than the hunters finding her and with the job she travels around a lot. I saw one of her photoshoots in the past and she has a lot of fans. I remember Valentine's day you would get so many gifts even though it was supposed to be a day that you give chocolates." 

"Hey, I always gave my female co-workers a return gift on white day as for the males I was not able to return the gifts as most of them were anonymous so there was no way to return them I did manage to give a few male workers their gifts back. I just couldn't accept some of them." Kitty shook her head.

"I would like to hear what kind of gifts you received that you would have to return. They couldn't be that bad… could they?" Leo looked at Kitty surprised and wasn't mad. 

Kitty started coughing and then leaned over to Leo's ear. "Darling some of the males left me life-size male chocolate statues with their p.e.n.i.s's showing. I returned them," raising her voice now, "there was a guy that decided that he could send me his credit card and I set that back but I think the most interesting gift I sent back was the blank cheque. Yes, I needed money at the beginning but that does not mean that I would accept it if it was offered no matter the amount." 

Leo looked at her in horror and then covered up his expression. "You have some… interesting fans."

"Interesting is not the word that I would use for them I would use the word horrifying. I had to go as security to an event because Kitty's manager fell sick. She was not okay on her own. I scared all her fans away and she made her appointments way earlier than planned but I had to take on so many useless humans while holding back." Ketan glared at Kitty.

"You say that but you were happy to get out of the house. I left all the hard work to you the demon manager. When my actual manager came back all my fans were crying but became really cooperative thanks to you." Kitty started eating and finished her drink. She only ate half of what was on her plate and then looked outside. "So much has happened."

Leo looked at her and wondered what was on her mind. ~My love is there something that is on your mind that you want to tell me besides the males admires that you have?~

~I am craving another run but I know that it is not easy to see me go all out. I do not want you to see me differently if we go for a hunt. I did get some runs in but because I couldn't transform for six months it was really hard on me.~ Kitty looked over at Leo and smiled.

~If it is something that you need to do then we can go out. I have killed but not in front of you. I too didn't want you to think of me as a monster. I love you and I know how hard it is for you. I want you to know that it isn't easy to talk about all those that I had to kill even when I didn't want to.~ Leo finished eating and looked at Kitty to see what she wanted to do.

"I am going to teach Leo how to hunt in his fox form. We will be gone for a while and if Charlette gets hungry you guys can feed her the formula. I can't keep putting off my hunt." Kitty stood up and looked at Charlette who was sleeping soundly and walked to the back door. 

Leo got up and followed Kitty out of the room. Not saying anything. 

"Is it just me or is Mother a little antsy today?" Luke watched them leave and sighed.

"That is because she didn't shift when she was supposed to because her body wouldn't let her. Charlette was inside and it would cause the baby harm if she transformed at any point in time. That is the reason why we usually have a midwife. So that after the child is fed the mother usually goes through the change and goes for a hunt." Cindy explained as they left. "Kitty hasn't gone for a hunt but has transformed. I am sure she didn't want Leo to see her hunt."

Kitty looked at the forest with longing in her eyes as she walked towards it and once inside she went until she didn't see the house and shifted before Leo caught up. She laid on top of her clothes and waited for him to come to her.
