Chapter 321 - 321 Dinner with the Everyone (1)

Edgar put his knee on the floor and touched Tiana's head. "I am not hurt. I am crying happy tears. I am so happy that tears came and ran down my face. Would you like to accompany me to grab Anna and Samuel?" 

Tiana looked at Kitty and saw her nod her head yes indicating that it was okay for her to go. "Tiana will go with you Uncle! Let's get Auntie and other Uncle!" 

Edgar took the young girl's hand and took her to collect Anna and Samuel.

Carlos poked his head out and then sighed. "I have enough food but Luke, you and I will need to eat more once it is cooked. I will throw a chicken to cook up while we have a modest meal until then."

"I do not mind I know that Mother and Father do not mean to make things harder on us." Luke brought out a few more sets of dishes and then went into the kitchen to help bring out the bowls of food that were ready. He set down the fruit bowl and bun basket. 

Nathan came out with two trays of different meat and placed one on each side of the table. "I thought that we should have two platters that way we do not need to wait for everything to be passed around the table. The buns and fruits are a little different as they are sides and not as important to everyone."

"I am sure that you and Carlos will make the right choices. I trust that you two will do what is needed and I think that it is a lovely idea." Kitty smiled and grabbed a bun. She cut it in half and spread some butter on it and placed it on Leo's plate and then grabbed one for herself. 

Carlos came out with mashed potatoes in two separate bowls. He placed them next to the meat platters and then went back to the kitchen and brought out the gravy. "Nathan, come and help me get this done I am starving and this is the best food I will have had all day. I want to eat!" 

Luke looked at Nathan ran away and saw that Carlos is way grumpier than usual. "So is that what happens when a werewolf gets hungry?"

"No, that is just Carlos when he is not in his kitchen for a few days. There are things that are going to be out of place and it will set him off. It doesn't help that the food that he was eating while working with Leo was not the greatest." Kitty smiled and placed her hand back over Leo's. 

"The food that I eat on hunts is pretty flavorless. I think that is because we do not want the supernaturals to pick up the scent from our breath. That is the theory anyways. I told Carlos he could season it but he just complained while eating it." Leo felt Charlette fall asleep in his arms. He smiled and moved his hand away. 

Stella got up and pushed the bassinet to Leo and then went back to her seat. "I think that food looked unappetizing. I am surprised that you can even eat it but if you could smell it really has no scent." 

Carlos came back with a tray of six bowls. "That stuff was shit. I ate it because I thought since I was the only one to complain that it would not be right for me to alter it. I have been snacking in the kitchen so I am not too bad but I am hungry for the right food. I didn't snack on the main food but I pulled out a bag of ch.i.p.s and I have been munching on that. Sorry, Leo." He started to place the bowels down. 

Leo placed Charlette down and replied back, "it is only food. It is not like you ate every bag in the cupboard and even if you did I can send you to pick up more tomorrow. It is going to be time to do some shopping. Monday is usually the day that we start anyways. I will not be leaving the house so you can take some help with you and I can cook." 

"Ah, that is true. I will take Nathan and Cindy with me if you think that you two can manage with the two young'uns?" Carlos finished placing the bowls and looked at Kitty for confirmation.   

"We will be perfectly fine. Luke, Stella, and Anna will still be here to give me a hand if I need it." Kitty looked up and saw Anna enter the room. 

"Kitty, it is good to see you up and about. How are you feeling now? I know that you have been resting a lot these days. Do ask me if you need any help as you are still recovering." Anna walking into the room carrying a casserole dish in her hands. 

"We were about to have our dinner when Edgar invited us to come and eat. I brought our dinner with us. If you guys would like to try some please go ahead." Samuel was also holding a dish and went into the kitchen. 

Nathan came out and placed three bowls of vegetables on the tabletop and then sat down in a single free spot. "Whew that was a lot of work but it was worth it." 

Carlos and Samuel came out together. Carlos was carrying another tray of smaller bowls but also a coaster for the casserole dish. He placed the coaster down first. Then placed the smaller bowls on the other side of the table. "That is everything for now. If there is not enough meat I can fill the plates again but eat up!"

Edgar took Tiana to her seat and helped her get seated and pushed her chair in and patted her head before sitting down. He waited for the others to grab what they wanted first.

"Tania thanks you, Uncle!!!" She smiled and swung her legs happily as she waited for Cindy to cut up some food for her.
