Chapter 304 - 304 Overuse of Powers

"Yeah, I got that feeling. Maybe I will turn the temperature up higher and then try getting rid of it. I was worried that it would do this." Will turned the temperature up a bit. 'F.u.c.k.i.n.g strange ass powder. If Sam had seen me she would never let me live it down.'

Kitty thought about the water nullifying the chemical that was clumped in his hair and leaned on the counter. After he rinsed out his hair this time it was finally clean. "Turn off the water and I will toss you your towel then you can dry off and I will hand you the bag of clothes when I get back, do not leave the bathtub." 

Will turned off the water and caught the towel, "Thanks, are you okay?" 

"I will be fine." She went back to Brielle, "here are your clothes. Once you are dressed I will take you to Ketan."

"Thank you, Kitty. I am grateful for your help. You do not look well." Brielle reached out and touched Kitty's cheek and then quickly got dressed. "I am ready to leave."

Kitty pulled away from her touch, "I need to hurry and cancel my illusion. I will be fine." Kitty saw that she was dressed and took Brielle to Ketan and disappeared before anyone could say anything. "Will, here are your clothes." She handed him the clothes and left the room through the door. 'Dangerous, the chemical is seeping into the water. I have to hurry.' She went back into the room when Will yelled that he was ready.

"Kitty, I am ready," Will saw her enter the room and saw that she was unwell, "I will not ask how you are doing as I can tell that you are not well. Take me to Leo."

Kitty nodded her head and took Will to Leo. She left again without saying anything. She appeared next to the laminated pages and picked them all up and took them to Leo as well. 

Ketan took Brielle from Kitty and saw the panic on her face but kept his lips shut. 'She looks like she is staving. If I didn't know any better I would think that she is about to snap and at least that is an illusion.' Ketan looked at Brielle that was in his arms, "how do you feel?" 

"I am well. I did not get too much on me so it was easy to clean off." Brielle couldn't get out of his arms for the fact that he was holding her tightly. "Can you put me down?"

Sylvie got up and helped Brielle get her shoes on. "Now you can put her down. He is just worrying that you might hurt your feet."

Kitty dropped Will off in front of Leo. Leo watched her and saw her expression. 'She does not look well but this is almost done.' Leo looked at Will, "did you get cover in something?"

"Did they tell you?" Will glared at Brielle.

"No, you have a strong scent of shampoo, like someone who washed their hair ten times." Leo handed his bag back to Will. 

"Yeah, I had a chemical bag drop on my head when I opened a cupboard and I had a hard time getting it out of my hair. So I would be surprised if I did not smell like shampoo." Will sighed and got his flip flops on. "My only secondary pair of shoes is a pair of flip flops."

Kitty appeared and placed all the pages down. "This is everything that is worth saving. I have to go back into the house and run water down my body to cancel the illusion. When I get back home I will let you know." 

Leo walked up and touched her shoulder. "Be safe and once you are home we will burn this place down" He retracted his hand.

"Thank you, I will talk to you soon." Kitty went to the bathroom and ran the warm water and the impurities left her, once she was cleansed she turned off the water and let the illusion crumble. She pulled herself up from the tub and pulled the plug. She felt the water drain. ~Ketan, burn that place I am back home. Leo, I will be okay. I used a lot of different magic spells all at once. Brielle be safe I am going to disconnect you now. It has been a pleasure to chat with you like this.~ Kitty closed her eyes and the water drained from the tub. 'I did too much. I can feel the need for essence but at the same time I am tired.' She closed her eyes and fell asleep as the water drained. 

Ketan put Brielle down on the ground while sighing, "I will be back." He disappeared and Sylvie followed him. "Sylvie you can not give her more and I can not give her anymore but I worry because she was tainted." 

"We need to take her somewhere where there is pure water." Sylvie picked up a towel and wiped off her face. 

"I know a place but Kitty might get mad that I brought someone there but I think since it is you. You and I are part of the same cloth. Do you still feel that I should take back what is rightfully mine?" Ketan picked up Kitty and touched his sister's shoulder and took them to the spring. He laid Kitty under the waterfall, then stepped back. 

"I still believe that you should take back what is yours but I know that I can not force you to take it back. I will let time do its work but I can tell that my years are numbered. Is this her place of hiding?" Sylvie touched the rock, watching as the water run down over Kitty's body.

Wenceslaus stepped out of the cave and saw Kitty under the waterfall. "You overused your powers, Amelia will give you what you need. She has recovered enough now." 

Amelia stepped out and quickly cut her wrist. The pale blue essence dripped into Kitty's mouth. "This is all I can do for you." Amelia patted Kitty's head.
