Chapter 57 56

Leo followed Will back to the couch. "No, not yet." Leo shook his head as he replied to Will. "I imagine that she'll be awake soon though. She didn't get to eat, yet. So, for now, let's go over the information that you have acquired and when she wakes up we can give her an update on the information."

The laptop login screen was blinking. Will nodded at Leo and logged into the computer. "Leo. There is a new email." He quickly opens the email.

Leo leans forward and reads as Will scrolls through the email. "Looks like some more hunters will be showing up in four days. I think we should be able to get everyone moved out of here before then. We'll need to see what Kitty says about it."

Both of them were engrossed in the emails that neither one of them noticed that Kitty had gotten up. She opened the door and went over to the table. "You two." She says and points at the two of them then back down to their unfinished food. "You need to finish eating. I can't have you guys running on no food." She pulls out her food and sits down.

"Pfffffft." Will can no longer contain his laughter. "The second she gets up she starts scolding us. Leo." Will pats his friend on the shoulder. 'Oh man, he is in for a rough time. I get the feeling that is really what he needs in life.' He got up and went back to his spot at the table.

Leo glared at his friend but got up after him and sat down and continued eating his food. "There was a new email. There will be more hunters here in four days. So we may need to hasten the plans a little bit."

Kitty listens. "I was thinking I should be moved tomorrow along with all the books. Leo you will need to drive me to your place and come back here before they arrive. They know that you are on vacation and that your destination was here so you have to be here when they arrive. So I request that you come with me and help pack the books. You and I will go to my home and Will can stay at the hotel."

"I have to send in some reports to head office so it would be best if I stayed back." Will finishes eating. He gets up and goes to the coffee table and packs up the laptop. "I will leave you two to do what you need to and I will be in my room so just call if you need anything." Saying his peace he left the room before anyone could object.

Leo watches Will leave and shakes his head. "I will go with you. I don't want you to lift anything heavy. Is there a vehicle that we can use to transport everything we need to my place?"

"We have emergency vehicles that are meant for this kind of thing. Thankfully the windows a tainted as well so I won't have to be transformed. There are going to be people who won't leave but I understand that. We should head to the house now." She undoes her transformation just in case she is spotted by a human. "I am weak right now but we still need to be careful." She got up slowly and walked to the door.

"Let me put your shoes on dear." He got up and put her shoes on for her. "I can drive and you can direct me on where to go." Leo grabbed the car keys. He takes her hand and leads her to her car. He opens the door for her and closes it when she gets in.

Kitty smiles brightly at Leo the whole time to the car. She gets in and gives him directions to the house in the forest. The drive was very relaxing. It took about 15 minutes to get to the cottage. She got out of the car and she transformed back to her natural fox form. "It's so relaxing here. I wish I could've brought you here under better circumstances." She walked to the front door and unlocked the door. She went inside and went straight for the library.
