Chapter 272 272 If That is What You Wan

Kitty took Charlette and smiled at her. "Look at you my little Sunshine. You slept through everything and now you need mommy to feed you." She grabbed the throw blanket and placed it over herself and then fed Charlette. Once she was done burping Charlette, Kitty handed her to Leo, "She needs a diaper change. I will not make it up the stairs."

Leo took Charlette and got up, "you don't need to explain more. I will go and change her diaper. You stay on the couch and relax."

Sylvie walked to Kitty and sat down. "I am sorry that I can not help you out anymore. I want you to promise me that when I do actually pass that you will take my essence. I want to be able to help you at least one last time. I always told you that I would do everything that I could to help you out and I swear that I will keep that promise with you. Even when I die I want you to take what you can from me. Ketan will not approve but that is my dying wish."

Emerson walked and stood beside Sylvie. "I know that once you perish I will soon follow soon after you. I pray that when we get to the other side we will be reunited. Kitty if it helps even a little bit you can take my essence as well. I trust you and I know that you will do the world justice." He bowed to her.

"Thank you, Sylvie and Emerson. If I am nearby when this happens I will do as you have requested." Kitty laid her head on Sylvie's lap and fell asleep.

"So much is happening and it is coming quicker then we could have imagined. Luke, you look like you have something to say." Sylvie patted Kitty's head as she slept on Sylvie's lap.

"Why would you ask something like that of Kitty? I thought vampires lived for a long time? One hundred and seventy-seven years does not seem like a long time to me if vampires can live until the end of time." Luke looked at her confused.

"It is because she is losing power and is weakening as her brother grows stronger. Normally she would be able to live for an extremely long life but I was blessed to have spent one hundred and twenty-five years with Sylvie. She has done so much in that time. I was supposed to be killed by the people I trusted but that is a story for a time when the young one is sleeping." Emerson stood next to Sylvie and you could see the love radiating from him.

Tiana raced into the living room. "Mommy! Tiana is dressed and ready for breakfast will you be eating it in the kitchen with us?" She looked at Kitty confused why she was sleeping on Sylvie's lap.

Cindy caught up to Tiana and swooped down and picked her up. "You silly girl I told you that you needed to let Kitty sleep."

"Tiana thought that mommy might be hungry. It's okay Tiana will let mommy sleep." She looked at Cindy and smiled, "thank you for doing Tiana's hair."

"It was something simple that I did so there is no need to thank me." Cindy nods to Sylvie and leaves the room with Tiana.

Luke watched everything that had happened in the living room and then got up. "I am not able to wait much longer. I am starving I will leave Mother in your guys' care." He walked out of the room.

Sylvie nodded her head and watched as Kitty slept. "Emerson, I am sorry that I will not live as long as I had planned to. I love that you support me no matter what choice I make."

"It is an honor to be with you until the end. I will not die before you. I know that I will live for maybe a day after you pass but the loneliness will kill me. If you pass on from this world then I will ask Kitty and Ketan to allow me to follow you into the next world. I was not joking about asking you to wait for me." Emerson reached his hand down and touched her cheek and felt her lean on his hand.

Leo carried Charlette into the living room and was touched by what he had heard and seen. "It would be a shame to lose both of you but I am sure that Kitty will agree. Will your bodies turn to dust after Kitty takes your essence?"

"It is hard to say, Emerson will but with me being as I am it is hard to say. I think that I will once my body is drained." Sylvie felt Kitty shift in her sleep. Sylvie patted her shoulder and waited until she fell back into a deep sleep.

"I will go have some breakfast. We will see what Kitty wants to do today when she wakes up." Leo carried Charlette to the dining room.

Stella was at the table and reached out her arms. "I will hold her so that you can eat. You could've brought the cradle but this works as well." Stella was handed Charlette and she beamed happily. "Good morning, baby girl. You are very awake right now."

Charlette looks up at Stella and made a cooing sound. Then her little arms and legs flailed around.

After handing Charlette to Stella, Leo went to his spot and sat down. 'Too much all at once. I worry that it will have a negative effect. At least I know that Kitty is doing alright.' Leo starts to get himself some food and then looks at the doorway.

Kitty slept for ten minutes more and while she woke up she looked up at Sylvie and Emerson. "I am sorry, they know now. I was going to keep this from them as long as I could. Your decline has been getting worse over the last five years but I was the only one that noticed out of those directly involved. Emerson doesn't count as he is connected to you." She turned so that she was facing up. "You two love each other so much and I respect both of you." She weakly smiled.
