Chapter 108 - Becoming a Legend

"Hahaha! Is it just me, or Kushi-chan cries every time you let her go?" Utakata grimaced at Kaname's laugh and tears dancing in his daughter's eyes when he tried to step away from the crib.

"Okay? On another note, what's the plan? I believe you changed it after you got to know of Suna's betrayal."

"A bit." Kaname nodded, "You were right - I will need you in Konoha. You, with team 7, are going to slow down the army until I come to help you."

"What about Haru and Kushi? They will cry their hearts out without us."

"Hah, I have got an idea of the century. What do you think of Mei-chan becoming their godmother?"

"I don't see a problem with that. If shit happens, it's good for the babies to have a substitute family outside the Fire Country."

"I asked if she can take care of the babies for our absence. We're going to check how she deals with them." Kaname smirked.

"Hehehe, that's brutal. Let's make a bet. I say Mei-san will rip her ears out before an hour."

Utakata facepalmed with a resounding slap, "Yeah, that would work, but is it safe for young babies?"

"Hmm, who am I to argue with my own doctor?" He shrugged his shoulders.

Orochimaru's pale yellow, filled with anger, eyes slowly traveled back to Kaname. She pointed her finger back at him, continued the motion pointing two of them at her eyes, and in quick succession, aimed her thumb at the top of her head.

"Edo Tensei? So it was you who summoned us, Orochimaru-san?" Minato walked out of his coffin as the last one.

"The technique was forbidden for a reason, youngling." White-haired Hokage turned towards Orochimaru, but after a moment, his eyes shifted to Minato, "Wait, who are you, blondie?"

"Ah! I'm sorry, Niidaime Hokage-sama [Second Hokage]. We never met. My name is Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage."

"Holy crap! Yondaime Hokage?... it seems Konoha thrived for a long time!" The First Hokage gaudily laughed out, pointing at Minato. "Hmm, why are you dead if Saru-chan is still alive?"

"Meh. I wouldn't worry too much. Jiji is too old." Kaname shrugged her arms, walking from behind Jiraya's body.

Orochimaru stared back at the woman for ten seconds, "I smell your fear, Kana-chan. I know you're bluffing."

"Huhuhu, I missed your snarky comebacks." Orochimaru chuckled, "I will let you watch as the man you loved like a father destroy Konoha." Orochimaru threw three kunai's impacting Hokage's backs.

Kaname perfectly mirrored all hand seals Orochimaru made in quick succession. The grey bodies of resurrected Kages regained their color, cracks, and other signs of decay around their faces receded, making three handsome men regain their splendor.

"I win..." Orochimaru and Kaname called out as one.

"W-what?"

Kaname laughed, "Catch." she threw two kunais at Orochimaru's face.

"The older one was the one you used to control Maki's body. The second one is from today. I may have stolen it from you, tehe~."

"What?! Then what did I throw just now? What did you do?!" Orochimaru's voice trembled.

"Never use two same tricks against me, Worm." Kaname chuckled, "Minato-san, I have modded your Hiraishin seal. This is one of your kunais." Kaname pulled out a three-pronged blade with a red handle.

Minato checked his body, "I-I can move freely?". In a flash of light, he teleported in front of Kaname and caught the kunai into his hand.

"Meet me at your north hideaway. I'll need your help in protecting Konoha."

The blonde nodded his head, "Kushi-chan would be proud of you." With those words, Kaname's eyes were blinded by a blast of yellow light.

"Hiraishin? It seems like the Fourth liked to be flashy." Tobirama, the jutsu's creator, evaluated his successor.

"He took this habit from his teacher." Kaname laughed out.

"No! What did you do? How?!"

Jiraya ignored his rival's cry of anger. "Hehehe. What do you mean? Minato-kun was always like this."

"Ah. There are two ways of using Hiraishin, Jiraya-san. The flashy one." Kaname's body combusted in bloody red flames.

Orochimaru shuddered when Kaname reappeared in front of him. Her right hand was a blur, but he tried to catch the strike before it reached him. Kaname exploded in flames just a moment before Orochimaru could take hold of her arm. Before his brain understood what was happening, he noticed the tip of her fingers rapidly closing in to the unprotected side of his face.

By teleporting behind Orochimaru's back and continuing her attack, Kaname slapped and floored him in a blink of an eye. "Ah, that felt good... There is also a less chakra demanding way of using Hiraishin, Jiraya-san." She teleported instantly next to white-haired Sannin's side without any visual effects.

"Hahaha! You did it, Kana-chan! I thought that my old eyes were playing tricks on me when I saw you teleport behind Orochimaru-kun! At last, a new user of Hiraishin in Konoha!" the old man laughed out.

"I'm sorry, but you're wrong, Jiji. I suck at lightning release techniques. As you can guess, this technique required the mastery of it. So I had to create my own, Hikōshin [Kōjin, is the Japanese god of fire]. It took me almost six years to develop this technique. And another year to master it."

"H-How? The Byakugan has a full 360-degrees view-" Orochimaru gasped.

"More like 350-degrees. I used the blindspot to get behind you. The camera flash was just a diversion to let me swap the kunais. You got screwed, Worm. Jiji and Jiraya-san asked for a chance at you. "I have so many things to talk about, but it's not the time right now. What do you need me for, Kana-chan?"

"Konoha is under attack by ninjas from Suna and Oto, Minato-san. Two of us should swiftly deal with both armies. Remind them of the dread of the man known as the Yellow Flash."

"Two quick, important questions. What about Naruto-kun, is he alright?"

"I should punch the shit out of you for leaving your newborn son under the wing of thirteen years old girl... Yes, he is alright. Even has a cute Hyūga girlfriend. If you want to, I can let you two meet later today."

"Ah!" Izumi bȧrėly dodged an attack from two Otogakure jōnins, but it left her on the back foot, allowing her opponents to pummel her with several jutsus. The young woman was thrown around by tiny explosions, stunning her for just a moment, providing her foes a chance to jump at her.

Izumi raised her hands, attempting to protect her head from the incoming blades. Before two long kunai's killed her, both men standing above her ġrȯȧnėd in pain and fell dead on the ground. Looking up, she noticed a long-raven-haired man smiling down and extending his hand towards her.

"Heh, thanks, Itachi-kun." Izumi was pulled back onto her feet, "What are you doing here?"

"We received orders from Nee-san."

"We?" She looked around. A line of people stood in front of an enormous army of two shinobi villages. Heavily outnumbered Konoha's jōnins and chūnins stood arm to arm, protecting their own home from the invaders.

"Thanks for coming. We still need to hold them back."

"Good to have you here, Snail." Kakashi slit the throats of five Sunagakure ninjas.

"I can deal with some, Inu. But there are too many of them to hold for long."

"Complaining is so unyouthful! You need to be positive, Utakata-san!"

"Raah!" Zabuza's slice decapitated two ninjas in front of him. "Shut up all of you! I'm not here to butcher those small fries!"

All four of them stood guard as the decoy in front of the main line of defense. They were encircled by tens of enemy jōnins.

"You know that there is only a sliver of a chance for Kisame showing up?" Utakata replied.

"I don't care! If I knew where to look for this son of a bitch I would do it already!"

"Kana-chan should be ready, just hold them back for a little longer!" the jinchūriki declared.

"Hahaha! I can't wait for her to expose her youthful spirit!"

"Hmm, I have..." Kakashi flickered to the back of another jōnin, "... got an idea of what she is hiding."

At the north side of the allied army of two villages, a cry of help was heard that silenced and send cold-shiver to all invaders, "IT'S THE YELLOW FLASH. RUUUN-!!!" the scream was drastically cut off.

Guy, Kakashi, and Zabuza watched stunned as the real legend butchered, flashing quickly in yellow light between ninjas from Suna and Oto.

But what put the trio into complete astonished silence was the second blood-red flashes of fire around the yellow ones and Kaname's laugh accompanying each one.

Seeing his friends' eyes trail after the twin trails of the flash of lights, Utakata laughed, "You will get used to it. I did already."

Kaname teleported to one of her seals in the middle of a group of shinobi. Crouching between them, she swiped with her sword at the invaders' ankles and flashed to another crowd faster than the previous group fell on the ground. Minato, in an understanding of Kaname's style of combat, used his Hiraishin to blink above the fallen men and mow them down with a light blue Rasengan.

A shinobi from Otogakure noticed Minato's back turned to him and decided to take his chance at the Hokage. Kaname teleported right overhead the sneaking shinobi and smashed his back with her own Rasengan, "You missed one, Minato-san." she smirked.

"Kana-chan, I can't be killed while under Edo Tensei."

"Haha, that's true. Sucks for them." Kaname laughed out, combusting into flames.

"You fell so low, my old friend. Making the tools of the dead, what did you think would happen?" Jiraya's and Orochimaru slugged each other in the face. Both Sannins had mirrored bruises on their bodies.

"I don't want to listen to your preaching, Toad. What about your new favorite? Kana-chan just enslaved your student, the one you always boasted about!" Orochimaru's hand turned into snakes that lunged at Jiraya.

His white hair encircled his body in a protective cocoon, blocking the attack. "Enslaving? She freed him from your control, Orochimaru. Kana-chan had all the required resources to do that. Obtaining the kunai you controlled Maki-chan with, she had a reason to believe you would use the same technique to destroy Konoha. Inheriting all of Minato-kun's stashes, finding some of his strands of hair for the DNA was easy."

"You idiot! Now that I know she couldn't find any traces of the First and Second, I will never send them off." Snake Sannin's sword shot out from his mouth, lightly scratching Jiraya's cheek.

Toad Sannin felt his newest wound sizzle after venom injection, "There are other ways to do it!"

"No matter how much time passes, the fighting lies in our nature." Hashirama declared sadly.

"Yes, unfortunately, it seems so, Hashirama-sama, <Katon: Karyū Endan> [Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet]!" The third Hokage nodded his head and attacked first.

"<Suiton: Suijinheki> [Water Release: Water Wall]!" The second Hokage replied, blocking the fire bullet.

The two exchanged several techniques blocking each other attacks.

"Dodge it, Saru! <Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Kōtan> [Wood Release: Nativity of World Trees]!" The trees sprouted from the roof tiles, quickly catching Hiruzen in a bind.

"Ha!" the old man shouted out, swinging the staff around his body and liberating himself.

"Muhaha! I see that despite your age, you didn't lose your sharpness, Saru!"

"Ugh. Let's not talk about that topic, Hashirama-sama?"

A black-haired man walked on top of Hokages' Mountain, whistling a happy melody. Reaching the edge, he pulled a silver child-torso-sized briefcase and put it on the ground. He pushed a small red buŧŧon on the side, with a mechanical sound, the briefcase changed shape into a long silver tube with a small telescope on the top of it.

"Hehehe, M-98 Widow, I missed you, my OP old friend." he chuckled, patting the anti-material rifle. "Let's see how the bitch deals with an anti-tank bullet..."
