Book 2: Chapter 4 (7/8)

Name:Twin Soul Author:Zskyph
Kain attempted to strike his flaming greatsword toward the Giant’s left eye but it dodged his attack and then returned with a powerful right fist punch. Kain flew backward and managed to dodge that attack. He then casted [Force Punch] spell and hit the Giant’s left eye but didn’t cause any damage against him. “Hoho… this Giant’s magical resistance is not bad.” Kain thought to himself while he was casting [Conjure Wind Walker] and commanded it to start chanting for [Sonic Boom] spells toward the Giant.

Kain continued to fly around and repeatedly attack the Giant forcing him to focus on fighting with Kain. Approximately after five minutes, Kain gave the signal for his Wind Walker to cast three[Sonic Boom] spells toward the Giant’s head. The giant's head was then slammed into the cave after receiving three [Sonic Boom] spells. Kain took the opportunity he had to strike his flaming greatsword into the giant's throat and kill him.

Kain shook his head in disappointment and said, “Still not strong enough. This Giant was probably just a Third Stage Saint-tier Warrior.” Kain then flew outside the cave together with his Wind Walker to start his exploration. Outside of the cave, Kain saw that he was in a forest. No, to better describe it. Kain was in a giant forest where everything was gigantically huge. Even the leaf of a tree was at least three times bigger than him.

Kain asked himself, “Seems like the giant back there was very normal for this realm since everything is incredibly huge. This isn’t bad either. What was the quest again? Ah right, survive for a hundred thousand years here. What if I kill all the creatures here? In that case, do I still have to wait for a hundred thousand years? Perhaps there could be a very strong boss hiding somewhere in this forest. Iris could have thought that I am not strong enough to slay it. That was why she tasked me with the survival quest instead of killing it.”

Kain safely landed on the ground then deactivated his [Demon Anatomy V] and decided to take a walk in this giant forest with his Wind Walker. Not even three minutes later, Kain saw an army of giant ants marching to find food. Each ant was half as big compared to him. After two seconds of consideration, Kain gave the commands for his Wind Walker to attack those giant ants to test their strength. But just like Kain has thought, ants will still be just ants. A simple [Wind Strike] spell from the Wind Walker could have easily killed an ant. Kain was disappointed and decided to continue walking away leaving the ants running for their lives after being repeatedly attacked by the Wind Walker.

Ten hours later after flying North, Kain still couldn’t find the exit to the outside world from this forest. “Hmm? Rain?” Kain asked himself after receiving a giant drop of water on his head. Less than a minute later, the rain started pouring down heavily and Kain felt like each drop could have easily burst his head open. “What kind of rain is this? I needed a place to hide from the rain.” Thinking so, Kain gave the command for his Wind Walker to cut open a hole on a tree to create a mini cave for him to hide in. After having a mini cave to cover his head from the rain, Kain banished his Wind Walker to start regenerating his mana pool. “It seems like the monsters here aren’t a big deal. Because the rain appears to be much scarier.” Kain then activated [Second Soul] to guard him and went to sleep.

Regardless of how much Kain has tried to get out, there was no end to this giant forest. It appeared that there was no other civilization except for the dumb ass giants that live in the caves of this forest. Food wasn’t a problem here since one giant bird can last Kain a week of meat. Now Kain understood why Iris told him the quest was to survive for one hundred thousand years. If Kain didn't die from being bored, then he deserved the right to get the entry pass for the next Dungeon-tier.

Back to Toria Continents. It had been three months since the fall of Grod city. The Dryardian Empire Army quickly invaded Nirrer, Megrigud, Radagvic, and Tozigfast cities that belonged to the Shota Empire. But then they were pushed back by Great General Amra Selmer and Executioner Rose Embers at the Kindukk city. Great General Selmer led eighty million troops to take back the empty Tozigfast city that was abandoned by Emperor Acilianus. The reason Tozigfast was abandoned was that Emperor Acilianus was forced to withdraw his sixty million troops back to Radagvic city per guidance from his Prime Minister, Ateia Ordia.

Inside Radagvic city. Emperor Acilianus asked, “Ateia, why did we abandoned Tozigfast?”

“Dear Emperor, Tozigfast was just an empty city now since we have enslaved all three hundred million humans there. What did the enemy actually gain from taking it back? Nothing. Radagvic city is much easier to defend and it is a much better city to occupy compared to Tozigfast. More importantly, the enemy won’t be able to take back any other city we have taken from them until they drive us out of Radagvic. I have given the commands for Princess Zemelda Edhilda Acilianus to create an emergency conscript to gather at least another one hundred million troops from our Kings and Queens. By the time we lose Radagvic, the remaining of our troops will meet up with Princess Zemelda at Nirrer city. We will then come back to once again taken Radagvic and Tozigfast cities from the Shota Empire.”

“Ah, I perceive it now. We just have to defend Radagvic waiting for my daughter to lead a hundred million troops here with the food rations to continue our invasion of the Shota Empire.”

“Yes, but not actually, dear Emperor Acilianus. If we managed to hold Radagvic city, then we will only keep fifty million troops while letting Princess Zemelda lead the other fifty million. She can either choose to help King Nerius Pacuvius Denter to invade the Commonwealth of Krorg, or to help Queen Pescennia Agapta to invade the Grand Duchy of Macmalian. The Shota Empire won’t be able to help either nation as long as we are on their soil. Because if they do, our army here will continue to advance in invading their country.”

“Great plan! What about Bifjorkian Theocracy and Tarlakalian Theocracy? Have they made any move yet?”

“Bifjorkian Theocracy won’t make any move while they haven’t defeat Tarlakalian Theocracy. The Mages Council have sent fifty powerful Executioners who have at least reached level 70 in magic training to help the Republic of Yfari invading the West of our nation. Despite having powerful magic casters on their side, Republic of Yfari still couldn’t take down even one city under King Viggo Kahl’s control yet.”

“Great! Kakaka…” Lucius laughed out loud as he heard this great news.

Princess Zemelda Edhilda Acilianus, Sixth Stage Saint Dragon Knight. She is the youngest daughter of Lucius Flavonius Acilianus. Unlike her father's outlook which resembles a dragon; beside her dragon ears and the dragon wings on her back, Princess Zemelda looks more like a real female human.

King Viggo Kahl, Eleventh Stage Saint Berserker. He is the King that controlled Drellorheas, Mewemar, Rethei, O'larith, and Commacharith cities on the island located to the far West of the Dryardian Empires. There are a total of fourteen cities on the island and those five cities originally belonged to the Republic of Yfari. It had been more than a million years and they still couldn’t take any city back. The Republic of Yfari still controls Gronnisishin, Inzitl, Ylatremben, Doragh, Meregheihaule, Vaajhalas, O'raugaushet, Beth'vha, and Mathasaneth cities of this island. This island is as big as one-fifth compared to the Commonwealth of Krorg.
