Chapter 11: (2/11)

Name:Twin Soul Author:Zskyph
“This appeared to be an organized attack from the Blood Mages. We have lost more than two thousand strong warriors and at least four hundred magic casters. They have lost… none. Our Executioner Light Mages have revived most of the magic casters. However, besides Saint-tier warriors who have fallen, our Executioner Light Mages wouldn’t be able to spare any mana to revive any of the other fallen warriors. If this carries on, I am afraid we will lose all of our warriors.”

“Oh? Is that so? What do you think, Enye?”

“Your Grace, I am feeling uneasy.” Enye honestly answered.

“Hoh… Let me go up there to take a look. Enye, send Executioner Palmer to look after Aber Hardy.”

“Right away, your grace.”

“Enye, advise Executioner Berethryl about this situation as well. Let him know that I may need his help.”

“Understood, your grace.”

Executioner Wayne Palmer, level 50 Ice Mage. He was the Executioner that almost got into a fight with Executioner David Bodwyn at the arena during the Student Mages Battle Tournament when Alek Silvergraft was suspected of being a Blood Mage.

Vonda followed Raynard Lynchfield to the deck of the vessel while chanting for [Frumgar], the unique self-created Fire Magic spell Vonda had used to kill Linette Whitfield. Vonda was not naive enough to walk to the deck without being prepared. If those Blood Mages could have put Executioner Lynchfield, a level 80 Black Mage on alert and the senior member of the Red, Enye Larson, level 81 Fire Mage feeling uneasy, then it meant she can’t lower her guards down at all. However, Vonda still had a trump card in her sleeve which allowed her to be confident that there is no way she could lose to those lowly Blood Mages. And that was because of Executioner Markus Berethryl, the level 90 Light Mage who had recently quit the White and sworn loyalty to Vonda.

In the sky above the vessel of the Red, Etgar Revenmar was flying using [Wind Walk] while observing all battles below using [Wind Detection]. Etgar was still waiting for Vonda to show up. His patience was finally paid off when he saw Vonda was escorted by a magic caster walking up toward the deck.

Etgar smiled and thought to himself, “My love, the time had come for me to avenge you.” Etgar touched the Magical Blood Ring he was wearing. That was the Blood Ring Linette Whitfield gave him so he could escape while she was sacrificing herself to prevent Vonda Hardy from chasing after him.

Vonda looked around and saw the dead bodies of her warriors throughout the deck. Most of the fallen magic casters were revived using [Mass Resurrection] from Legend-tier Executioner Light Mages that served her. Even so, their mana pools won’t be able to keep this going forever. Vonda looked up and saw Etgar, she didn’t remember who he was because why does a human have to recognize each dog they have met?

“Stupid dog, who are you? Why are you attacking my ship?” Vonda calmly asked Etgar knowing he will hear her through his [Whispering Wind].

Etgar asked, “Vonda Hardy, do you remember a Blood Mage named Linette Whitfield?”

“No, didn’t ring a bell. Let me guess… I have killed that bitch and now this stupid dog is trying to avenge her, correct? So romantic.” Vonda smirked as she said that.

“Soon that smirk will be wiped out of your face. Prepare to meet your ancestor, Vonda Hardy.”

“Do you think a Lord of the Red such as myself would just fight with anyone? Executioner Lynchfield, teach this dog some manners. I will let Frumgar fight with all other Blood Mages.”

“Yes, Lord Hardy.” Raynard answered.

Raynard activated [Demon Anatomy V] to transform himself into a demon that has a pair of demon wings on his back allowing him to fly. The demon wore a full platinum plate armor covered from head to toe. The demon was surrounded by a strong flaming aura and was carrying a huge greatsword in his right hand while carrying a large shield in his left hand. Raynard then casted [Elemental Adjustment] to change his flaming aura into a windy aura.

[Demon Anatomy IV], level 35 Black spell that will transform the caster into a demon that has a pair of demon wings on his back allowing the caster to fly. The demon will be wearing full platinum plate armor covered from head to toe while having the ability to generate their own choice of weapons.

[Demon Anatomy V], level 45 Black spell. Similar to [Demon Anatomy IV], but [Demon Anatomy V] will give the caster a flaming aura that can burn anyone who comes within five feet of the caster while granting the caster a strong magical resistance toward Fire Magic spells.

[Aura Adjustment], level 50 Black spell. This spell allows the caster the ability to switch to any elemental aura of his choosing from flaming aura to icy, earthen, lightened, thundering, or windy auras. Icy aura can freeze anyone who comes within five feet of the caster while granting the caster a strong magical resistance toward Ice Magic spells. A lightened aura will blind anyone who comes within five feet of the caster while granting the caster a strong magical resistance toward Light Magic spells. Earthen aura will absorb damages from enemies’ physical attacks while granting the caster a strong magical resistance toward Earth Magic spells. Similarly, a thundering aura stuns anyone within five feet and grants strong magical resistance toward Thunder Magic spells. Lastly, the windy aura will push back anyone who manages to come within five feet to the caster while granting the caster strong magical resistance toward Wind Magic spells.

Raynard flew toward Etgar to attack him but a Wind Walker appeared and casted [Sonic Boom] at him. Raynard was being pushed back two hundred feet thanks to his windy aura or he would have blasted ten miles away.

Raynard controlled his balance and looked around to see who conjured this Wind Walker. A figure slowly flying upward and stopped in front of Etgar. It was Master Mival Ballard, the level 50 Blood Conjurer Mage. Mival could fly because his Wind Walker casted [Wind Walk] spell on him.

Mival said, “The Guild Leader wanted to fight with Vonda Hardy, no one can interfere.”

Raynard laughed and said, “After accepting a [Sonic Boom] from your Wind Walker, I can tell your maximum level is only fifty. Do you think you will have a chance of withstanding my mighty power when you couldn’t step into the Saint-tier yet?”

“As I have said, no one can interfere with his battle. It doesn't matter what level you are, I can guarantee that you won’t be able to defeat me.”

“You are full of confidence huh, I like that. Then allow me to demonstrate a tiny fracture of my true power!”
