Chapter 779 - Horrible Experience

Hearing the words uttered by Oscar and Lisa made Randy's eyes widen in shock. Apart from his cheeks that started to grow warm, he restrained himself from screaming and refuting everything that was on their mind.

Did these two just say that today's boss was so nice?

Did they just say that Chloe, his boss whom he thought was a demon in a human body, had a good heart?

Didn't he hear wrong?

If they said Chloe was the scariest boss and had an inattentive nature, Randy would definitely agree with them.

Working as Chloe's personal assistant feels like a complete waste of time, at least for Randy. He doesn't have time outside of work hours, and his days are always busy with incoming calls that suddenly come from Chloe. There was just something she wanted that made Randy feel like he was better off dead.

On a certain day, his work piled up in his laptop as well as those that he hadn't finished on his desk. But Chloe would randomly tell him she wanted to eat her favorite Padang rice. Sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays, Randy finds it difficult to rest because he is too stressed to sleep.

Randy even thought that sleeping would only be a waste of his own time. Because as soon as he turned on his cellphone, dozens of messages and reminders on his cellphone calendar made him want to curse himself for falling asleep last night. If he hadn't overslept, maybe he could have finished watching his favorite drama series. Maybe he could exercise, or spend his time by eating junk food.

By the time Chloe had a client she wanted to talk to seriously, Randy had to make sure everything ran smoothly. If necessary, the woman wanted to know what would happen in the future. Also, when they met a client, Randy was required to taste all the food and drinks that would be served to Chloe later.

"What if they put poison in my food?" Chloe once asked him before they got out of the car.

According to Randy, what the woman was thinking made no sense at all. Why would they want to poison Chloe when she wasn't doing anything important either?

But how could Randy say that in Chloe's face? Instead of feeling relieved, he would actually meet God and his guardian angel on that very day!

One day, Chloe really wanted to try to eat chicken which she said was spicy and hot like hell. Randy had no bad feelings at first. When he was queuing to buy the most expensive and complete package provided by the restaurant, he felt his forehead already wet with cold sweat.

And sure enough, what he feared happened.

"Then I'll excuse myself, ma'am." Randy said politely before he left Chloe's study. In his little heart, Randy already knew what Chloe was going to do to him.

Before he could hold the doorknob of Chloe's room, he heard the woman's voice, "Hey, where are you going? Sit here first. Help me finish this."

Randy closed his eyes and took a deep breath. All his life, he was not strong and did not like spicy food. He can't do it if he has to eat with chili sauce! He can't imagine himself helping Chloe finish a set of chicken that's spicier and hotter than hell!

However, Randy still sat across from Chloe. One bite of the chicken thigh has made Randy's eyes tear up and his tongue looks like it's on fire. Chloe also had the same reaction as him. It was just that the woman's tolerance for spiciness was greater. She only sweated and breathed from her lips, while Randy was already crying and wiped his tears with a tissue.

Even though Chloe had prepared two cartons of milk for them, the stinging spicy taste still lingered on their tongues.

In the end, they both took turns running to the bathroom and vomiting or defecating.

Long story short, they were rushed to the hospital because they couldn't stop defecating. Both of them felt their bodies became weak, and their stomachs couldn't stop churning and they didn't feel cold even after drinking more than 2 and a half bottles of water.

All Randy could say was, working with Chloe felt like he was serving the devil.

Every day, not a day goes by without Randy's desire to send his resignation letter. Even though he was scared of Chloe, that didn't mean he wouldn't want to leave. He had tried to bring up the topic of resigning once, but the woman glared at him and gave him the middle finger.

Randy had also tried to put a resignation letter on Chloe's desk when she hadn't come to the office. But what about the result? The letter was torn to pieces and Randy had to clean them with his bare hands.

They are very different. Chloe had a slender body and small figure, while Randy had a tall, sturdy body and broad chest. Even so, Randy was made submissive by the woman in the snap of a finger.

Deep down inside, Randy was sick of being treated that way with Chloe. His pride as a man got hurt every time he saw Chloe a step or two ahead of him.

But again, Randy didn't have the courage to rebel and go against the little woman's words. He felt like a little dog with his neck tightly tied. If he dared to run in a different direction, his neck would have been choked by the woman's tug.

Chloe had something in her that made Randy submit. Sometimes the man even thought about whether the woman casted some sort of black magic that could frighten him. But if he recalled again, how could someone like her do black magic?

Hearing Oscar and Lisa's compliments made Chloe burst out laughing. Who doesn't like being praised by others for being kind and the best boss?

Chloe turned her head and asked Randy's opinion, "You heard from them, right? That I'm the best boss in Jakarta. What do you think?"

Randy was still lost in his thoughts and could only look at Chloe blankly. His mind was still filled with memories of how miserable he had been working under Chloe.

Seeing Randy silent made Chloe feel annoyed. She elbowed the man on his ribs hard.

"Are you dumb? I asked you something!"
