Chapter 777 - Drama Before Going Home

"What do you call me?" Oscar asked in disbelief.

If humans could be compared to animals, Lisa would think of Oscar as a Siberian husky. Although it looks scary and can kill anyone with its sharp teeth, it's actually a cute dog. With blue eyes and a straight body, Oscar looks just like those adorable huskies.

And this… was clear in Lisa's eyes.

Just like now, Lisa actually saw a cute Siberian husky wagging its tail in the body of a grown man. Those bright eyes and a wide smile that showed a row of neat looking teeth made her almost chuckle. If Oscar had a tail, he would be wagging it violently by now.

Lisa blinked a few times, "...I want to go home quickly?"

"No, before that."

"Quickly pay for our dinner?" Lisa repeated.

"No, no," The smile on Oscar's lips still hadn't faded at all, "Before that."

"Honey?"

Not long after Lisa called Oscar affectionately, the man's sensual lips let out a deep laugh. Of course Lisa was confused by Oscar's laugh, it's like the man had just heard the happy news.

"Oh my God…" Lisa mocked when she saw Oscar pretending to wipe the tears from the corners of his eyes, "Are you seriously that easy to flirt? Shame on you ah!"

Hearing Lisa's taunts made Oscar even more exaggerating what he had done. He started sobbing and covered his eyes with his palms. If someone else were to see Oscar's attitude, maybe they would think that the man had just been hurt by Lisa!

"Hey, you're really stupid!" Lisa hissed, half screaming when she saw one of the waitresses in the restaurant walking past their table. They raised her eyebrows as they passed their table and stepped even faster.

"Oscar!" Lisa felt even more annoyed when she heard Oscar's laughter. The woman rolled her eyes, took her tote bag, and hurriedly got up from the chair.

"Do you know how to make me stop crying?" Oscar asked while occasionally showing a wide smile and letting out sobs.

"What? Say it fast or zip it." Lisa grumbled.

Oscar lifted his face, "Pay for our dinner."

Hearing his unreasonable request immediately made Lisa want to pound the table. But if she did that, Lisa was sure some of the red wine plates and glasses would be knocked off and fall. If that were to happen, Lisa was sure she couldn't afford to pay the compensation fee as well as their dinner!

"Stop playing with me!" Lisa grumbled, looking annoyed. "Are you going to let me pay for our dinner by washing dirty dishes?! Seriously, you're such a douchebag!"

Just as Lisa turned around and started walking towards the counter, she suddenly felt her waist being hugged tightly from behind.

"Wait wait! Who told you to go?" Oscar pleaded softly at the level of Lisa's neck. The man's breath tickled her skin, sending chills down her spine and body.

Lisa ignored Oscar's request and continued to look ahead. With both cheeks reddened because she knew they were the center of attention of the waiters in the restaurant, her cheeks flushed even more when she heard the sound of women's laughter from afar.

"Let go of me now." Lisa forced while pinching the back of Oscar's palm.

While still hugging Lisa's waist from behind, Oscar kissed her jaw. Then not long after that, Oscar let go of his arms around Lisa's waist.

"How could I let my lover pay for our dinner?" Oscar asked in an exasperated tone. The man then walked past Lisa, but before that, he turned around and ruffled Lisa's hair, "Wait here, you stay."

Lisa saw Oscar walking ahead of her then chose to follow the man from behind. While doing that, she whispered, "What a weird guy. Why didn't he just say that he wanted to pay for our dinner? No need to pretend to extort me, right? You already know I'm broke!"

While she waited for Oscar, Lisa tried not to hear how much the man had to pay for their meals. If she heard the cost, Lisa's heart would have stopped in shock.

After that, Oscar turned around and threw a big smile at Lisa. His hands reflexively wrapped around her waist, and finally the two of them walked out of the restaurant.

But before their footsteps took them out of the restaurant, Lisa and Oscar both heard a very familiar voice.

"Damn it, who the hell rented this restaurant!? Does he think he's the only one who can eat here or what!?"

"Ma'am please calm down for a moment. After this you can eat here, it's just—"

"Just what!?"

Lisa frowned and became even more curious about the owner of that very familiar female voice. How surprised she was when she saw the figure of a beautiful woman standing in annoyance at the entrance of the restaurant. The woman's beautiful face looks red like the dress she is wearing now.

Lisa's footsteps automatically stopped when she saw her. Oscar did the same when he saw a very familiar figure standing near them.

Before the woman could continue her rant like a maniac, her eyes fell on Lisa and Oscar who were standing nearby. Her irritated face and burning eyes disappeared in a matter of seconds.

"Oh so you're the one who rented this restaurant?" Chloe asked in a tone that sounded pleased, "Of course you are."

Oscar rolled his eyes, "So what?"

Lisa and Oscar started walking again, past the guard standing in front of the restaurant entrance and walked over to Chloe. That night, the woman looked beautiful and elegant. With wavy blonde hair, red lipstick and a tote bag so small that it could only fit red banknotes, not to mention a dress that showed off her long, smooth legs, Chloe looked gorgeous.

If Lisa was born a man, she would definitely be infatuated with Chloe, and want her as a life partner.

"Hello," Lisa greeted her with a faint smile, "Would you like to have dinner here?"

"Lisam my dear," Chloe said happily. She pulled Lisa from Oscar's tight embrace and kissed both of her cheeks, "We haven't seen each other in a long time! Did that man forbid you to meet me? Do I need to share his photos I took a few weeks ago?"
